Thank you Javier for breaking this down. As always, I learned something new. I like how you cut your music up to have the flow you wanted. I noticed this in music, and I didn't think to cut it up like that. I will use this!
Thanks for this fantastic breakdown. What keyboard shortcut did you use to jump one frame forward around 17:40 when your other hand was on the mouse changing the mask?
BRO YOU ARE AMAZING. havn't finish the whole video yet but even from the start this video just made me a better videographer and editor. when you are a very good editor you are also a very good videographer because you shoot with the edit in mind. Thanks for this bro +1 subscriber.
Thank you, Havier, for doing this video. If you can do more videos like this one that would be awesome. Explaining the art of editing FX's helps to understand editing as a beginner.
I just loved this video. I work as a corporate DP and editor, our look is very bland, but I enjoy watching these videos. They're entertaining and informative. Every now and then I try to slide a little spice in our videos, but have to remain in brand.
@JavierMercedes this was so helpful, I'm a video editor myself and recently I'm trying to edit these Hype edits, Your video is like roadmap to me, thanks for the value ❤
Thanks Javier Mercedes. I learnt from the Hyper lapse and the Object Wipe Transitions sections. Both will surely come handy in my future projects. PS: Thanks greatly for the resources shared as well.
Love this video!!! doing a first time video edit for a festival set i was inspired to do this for and I hope that im capable of excecuting it to ther fullest with thes tips and tricks!! thank you!!
Love the video, but would love to know how you add the abstract shapes to your edits too! I've wanted to do this forever but worried I'll spend more time working it out in After Effects than finishing my next video :)
LOVE LOVE this video explanation ! I myself am getting into videos and I am trying to edit smoothly because that's the one thing I do not like doing BUT the way you explain it in this video makes me feel comfortable to go for it!! Question; the first clip of the space ... was that with a drone?
That first shot was a drone. And I shoot both. Since I know this whole thing was going to be vertical I shot for it sometimes. But with gimbal shots it’s easier to shoot horizontal and then crop in post.
I'm currently watching as I type. I'm curusi to know how can you randomize the clips? Let's say you wanted to use the same assets, but change the order for potentially a different look, feel and experience, is this possible?
Knew I'd forget a link somewhere, here is his video on it with the link in his description: th-cam.com/video/1qJXvxDFcYE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=G-arUH7Rs-2b2FbG
Understandable, I do wish all mediums were horizontal but alas this is for social media, so vertical is king at the moment. You can take the same principles I talk about and apply them to horizontal as well. Thanks for watching!
This is a great tutorial i never imagine this is possible to learn. How I wish you can show to screen what are keys are you pressing so some of us with no experience can learn.

As always Javier, you smashed it. Great tutorial.
Stellar work as always Javier!

Where are you 🤔
After long time I see you😮
Love the video, but would love to know how you add the abstract shapes to your edits too! I've wanted to do this forever but worried I'll spend more time working it out in After Effects than finishing my next video :)
Great work, thanks a lot. Do you have the name of the music on Artlist please?
Great content, many thanks!
amazing video thanks ❤
Many thanks mate for that really appreicate it
Javier, your work here is a good reminder that video “editor” is an outdated term. What you (and your peers) are doing is more akin to “composer.”
amazing

Nice and educative video
hey man, a question for you, potential video. How to import multiple AE compositions into Premiere Pro. Cheers
Amazing ❤❤
Thanks Gangster 303!
Your the best!
Thankyou So Much Sir I will Whole Video Editing In Your Channel Sending love From India 😊
Awesome video! Did you shoot everything in 120fps or did you shoot in multiple different frame rates? Thanks!
Most in 120fps, but some at 24fps if I knew I was just going to be using it for the sound bite.
@@JavierMercedes Thanks! Is there a reason you chose 120fps, even though you weren't going to slow down every clip?
Este vídeo é um modulo de curso inteiro.
amazing Video
we want more videos like it
Will do! Thanks for watching!
Did you shoot it in portrait ? Or in landscape and cropped in ?
Both
I'm currently watching as I type. I'm curusi to know how can you randomize the clips? Let's say you wanted to use the same assets, but change the order for potentially a different look, feel and experience, is this possible?

@@JavierMercedes i am bigest fan of your editing bro. I want to edit like you can you give me some tip and trick thanks
Wait wait wait wait, you shot all of this footage, and edited into that video all in one day??????
Shot and edited everything (except the drone shots, that was done by the amazing Jessi Foster @hellyessi on IG) in a day yup.

Ok. But my eyes are located on the horizon. Not vertically.
Understandable, I do wish all mediums were horizontal but alas this is for social media, so vertical is king at the moment. You can take the same principles I talk about and apply them to horizontal as well. Thanks for watching!
Do some quick research on how much content is consumed via mobile phones today. It's actually pretty astonishing.
This is a great tutorial i never imagine this is possible to learn. How I wish you can show to screen what are keys are you pressing so some of us with no experience can learn.
Omg, I’ve needed this 🥲
Thank you❤️
Thanks for watching!
