    Thanks Robert.

    I’m gonna still use Ableton full-time, but I’m gonna have to buy this just because of the audio manipulation and certain things you can do with it and I can send it over to Ableton. This is incredible. Thank you so much for this review.

    I bought it at the sale price and my biggest hang up is the cpu intensity. I wish I could make full songs in this by machine is not powerful enough. It’s kinda of like if photoshop was a DAW. I plan on learning all the bins and outs though. It is an amazing piece of software.

    I have used it but I didn't know about the song generation feature.
    I have used Suno for that and it is dangerously good.

    Is this DAW capable of being a second ear or producer for artists that are capable of recording their tracks but struggle beyond this point ?
    I have spent years recording tracks and trying to hone my producing skills but always been left with 100s of song incomplete due to never being able to quite get it sound close to professional track, hell it just sounds a mess if im being honest.
    Would be lovely to have an AI assistant within the DAW that could recommend or tweak the project where needed to attempt to create something close to what I prompt.

    • @christoroppolo8742
      @christoroppolo8742 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I absolutely agree ! And having an “assistant” instead of “Ai to create” music is the trick we are all looking for a “mix assistant “ that can make and or execute mixes of our creations ready for broadcast . I am tired of the QWERTY “shift hot key” crowd and their boatloads of very forgettable commands and songs created using them that for the most part sound stale and overproduced.it’s so annoying and destructive to creating music or film to constantly play nurse made to software who’s power is only available by holding vast amounts of cryptic instructions for a DAW in our head instead of our ideas and creativity that is being stalled by it constantly . Can you say buzz kill? And after seeing it done by the Ai enough times the user will begin to “truly trust and understand “ the process by seeing what the Ai has chosen to do for the various scenarios each time in the recording process which is the best way to learn something like that period !

      Those tools have existed for years. Isotope Neutron for example. But the thing is that there are so many factors that needs to be right for a production to sound professional. Recording the tracks well is key. If you are recording your tracks well enough then the track should sound close to finished before even mixing it. Arrangement is another key factor. If your song is poorly arranged then It will be much harder to mix it.
      So how good are your recording and arrangement skills really? Are you recording in a treated room? Are you using the correct mic positioning? Are your instrumentation and octave placements right?

    The heart and soul which humans impart into their music creation is what allows music to illicit emotions that move humans and impact the human spirit. AI will never be able to impart heart and soul in the music creation process. So, while I have no doubt that AI generated music can and will be produced, I believe this is the beginning of the end of the creation of heart-felt music…after millennia of traditional music development.

      @@SoldierOfJah When an AI instrument plays itself…you, the musician will have no part in the creation or performance of the music. That will take the soul out of the music, regardless of what people in those days consider “good” music.

    • @petesmith6434

      @@Bashanvibe If music is produced solely by AI, there will be no “parts” to remove and there will be no way to replace them even if you could remove parts. The soul of a music piece is not contained in one of the “parts” it’s the entire piece and how the musician crafts each part to work together to create the whole. AI will destroy human artistic creation and replace it with something inhuman.

      @salahibozkurt It never has and never will be useful, it's been out and done better by other companies for over a decade. It's not used for a reason. The Chinese company, which brought Akai out in the 90s are very predatory and targets a less educated black customer base, which is extremely racist. The rest of the music sees this, and they low key says nothing, which is not nice. The new mpcs have awful built quality, the pads double trigger, and the mpc keys has a constant hum, the touch screens they use are $8 on Ali Express. Yet due to marketing and peer pressure, this company falsely using the Akai brand name are praised, it's very messed up.

    The horrid downside of this DAW program is that it’s periodically in your business every 10 times you open it ; telling you that you can no longer use this program unless you connect to the Internet to prove that you purchased it. Therefore, this company is interrupting my workflow because I have to go to the public library just to reinstate my privilege to use the thing.
    This selfish protocol of theirs is also a threat that you will have wasted your $250 (or whatever RIP X DAW Pro costs) by the fact if they go out of business tomorrow, then the next 10th time you open it will be your last.
