Nice shirt. This certainly looks interesting as it is something you could play with people who aren't really hardcore wargamers. It's a bit pricey for me at the moment though.
Awesome video! Thanks so much for this! One minor point: you can only have one copy of each unit on the board at a time (with the exception of the Footman, which can have two).
This game has basically sat on my shelf of shame since it was published. I think I attempted to play it twice I just didn’t get it. When I started playing it on Yucatá OMg... What a great game. But I will say it took me about 20 games on Yucatá before I finally got it. What can I say I’m a slow learner
Thanks Cody, War Chest is FANTASTIC! Thanks for your recommendation. LOVING it!
Happy to help!
I really like this channel! Glad I found it. Your game reviews are concise and engaging!
Thank you. Glad you enjoy it.
I picked this up having somehow missed your review of it. I’m loving the game and now seeing your review you stated much about why I love it.
Indeed. It's a great game!

Thanks. Hope you get a chance somewhere down the road.
Great review, Cody! I have this on pre-order and am waiting anxiously for its arrival.
Good call. It's a lot of fun!

Thank you for the clarification, and thank you for the great game!!!
Thank you for the great review. I'm glad you were pleasantly surprised by the game. :)
I was indeed.
Also don't you need a matching coin in order to have that unit control a position?
@@Brannen666 That is correct.
played at Gen Con. one of the biggest surprises of the Con.
~ what are the "one or two" abstract games that you DO like? 🤔
I liked Hive and Agamemnon.
~ Thanks Cody!

Which do you like better this or undaunted Normandy??
Undaunted Normandy.
Yoda is staring right at me...
Yo, daaa!
How would you compare this to "The Duke"?
I have owned a copy of The Duke for years, but have never got it to the table. :(
Oh you are going to have to for sure. If you enjoy War Chest you should also like The Duke. Very similar.
I want to.
What was that at the end?
It's AEG's Courtier. Fantastic game. The video is from our 2014 review.
