Born in the early '80s & bred in nYc. The only public restrooms I seen was in the parks and subways and if they wasn't filthy you was very lucky. After '00 there was about a 40% chance of getting a clean restroom. These public restroom stalls look to be an easy target for homeless to camp in.

Public restrooms? Isn't that just the train stations? People relieve themselves at the head and tail of the train station all the time.
problem is that we have too many homeless people and drug addicts that would hog tie the bathroom and they mess up the bathroom.
Blame this on the lack of mental asylums which used to keep people like this off the streets

This affects me the most due to my weak bladder I gotta pee like every 30min
They had pay locks in subways. When they had to remove them, bathrooms all ways closed. Welcome to ny!😅

Just think about it folks, if you can smell the urine, then you are inhaling it which then becomes a part of you. We are all in this urine together.
