It would be amazing if Mikey just waited around for someone to look at the alien exibit, and then walk up to them and say something as nonchalant as "Huh, I wonder who this guy is".
same, love it! Mikey heard you're going to Philippines too in one of ur recent mail unboxing vids hope u enjoy ur trip here especially the foods! Stay safe and have fun. :)
ALL KIDDNG ASIDE MIKE, IS THEIR A COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT ON THE USE OF YOUR IMAGE? JUST WONDERING IF BESIDES THE GREAT CHOWDER, YOU CONFERENCED WITH LEGAL ENTITIES REGARDING THE USE OF YOUR IMAGE AND VOICE, WHICH IS ALSO FREE ADVERTISING FOR YOUR BRAND, HOWEVER DID THE MUSEUM [USUALLY A NOT FOR PROFIT ENTITY] HAVE TO GET YOUR PERMISSION TO USE YOUR IMAGE AND VOICE.
Ok. If you're good with it. I guess they're doing their part of spreading the word of the Mighty Mikey Chen. Hope you at least got tagged or "Courtesy of" credits.
one of the youtube rule is that whatever video you upload, youtube can use it for their own beneficial purpose. So if the museum buy it from youtube, it's okay. But if they just download it, meh still okay because appearing in a museum is cool!
I understand that money is potentially not all he wants. The publicity is good, only if they actually give credit to him in the museum, which I'm not sure if they did or not. And again isn't it literally copyright to take his content without any permission?
I think if Mike complained, instead of giving him money to continue showing it, they probably would just shut it down. As it is, it's pretty cool that one of his videos is in a museum. That's could be considered a life goal, right? Lol.
Hey Mike👋🏼, I discovered your videos about 2 weeks ago and they have become a daily routine. Besides the fact that I believe that you're my food soulmate, I appreciate your videos so much! I am a Korean born and raised in Germany. Authentic Asian food cravings out here in Berlin are intense. There is some good Asian food out here but not as much as in the US. Watching your videos sometimes is torture but so satisfying at the same time. I absolutely loooove your videos and admire your positive attitude. Greetings from Germany 🖖🏽
I honestly recommend driving that trip. I live in Boston and my parents live in the NYC suburbs. By the time you drive to the airport and check in and fly, you could already be up here in your car.
i’m from boston, i always suggest oyster house for visitors. but in my little town of quincy we have Tony’s and they have buffalo clam strips, lobsta rolls on freshly buttered rolls and something for everyone. another favorite was the lobster shack in weymouth. my friends used to sail thier dinghy across the bay to get the freshest lobster.
My wife and I just want to give you a big shoutout Mikey, we first saw you on Beyond Science channel which we still love and we follow the vlog. Love what you do! God bless
I suggest motion sensor lights outside all around the perimeter of the house. A light timer from lowes/Home Depot can also be useful, especially since you travel! It'll turn on/off lights automatically at the set time you want. Ring wifi enabled doorbell from Costco is also good for security. Cheers.
Two kinds of lobster roll - Connecticut style which is lobster with melted butter served hot on a bun. Maine style which is lobster with mayo served cold on a bun.
I love how Mike makes up those new phrases that always make me laugh, like “forecast eating”. Now that’s a super power Marvel could make a movie about, lol
Hi Mikey, thanks for taking us on a trip with you. I don't get to travel and see much. The farthest place I ever been was a 6 hrs away from where I lived and following you to ur trip just made my day. I get to see new places through you. Glad ur home safe. ^_^
I’ve had the best chowder of my life in Boston. Several places. Just a step above everywhere else in the world. I’m sure all places do vary, but we used to go bar hopping, and get a cocktail and a bowl of chowda at each, then go to the next. This was in Faneuil Hall downtown, great times.
Fun video Mike! I recently sent all the ingredients for your latest hot oil recipe to my brother for his birthday! He made it and said it turned out great! Thanks!
Clear sounds pretty easy. Lol, I always end up in China town. Grew near one in Chicago. My parents took us there for good grades, clean bedroom, behaving, breathing.... They loved Chinese food, and so do we.
Hi Mike, I love your videos and have been subscribed and watching for the past three years on ur cooking channel, this channel and beyond science. I live in Boston and am happy you got to visit here.
Mike--As I recall, from my childhood in NE PA, at 5:00 AM in summer, the sky is light from early AM due to the earth's tilt. So, while getting up in the midwatches of the night is no fun, it could be worse. It could be mid-winter and dark as pitch; the precipitation could be snow/sleet, and you could have your commute slowed down considerably by driving on black ice.
I grew up in Massachusetts. It's small, but like three different states. You have the west, the Berkshires - Central, Worcester - and the east, Boston. I grew up in the west - ask the governor if he/she has ever been there. :) My mother taught me to make clam chowder - better than any restaurant chowder.
My favorite place to get Scallion/White Cut Chicken in NYC is at back of the Kamboat Bakery at 111 Bowery for their non-baked goods. It's cheap and they give you decent portions. The back counter isn't open all day. I believe it was mornings to late afternoon. They sell out the chicken fast though. I recommend checking it out for a quick bite. They call it Hainan chicken in the bakery though it doesn't have the flavored rice you would expect a Hainan chicken dish to have.
Mikey, I think you should talk to a lawyer about this. MOS or TH-cam might have broken the law by not telling you about this before using your video without your knowledge. At least ask if someone if you can consult them about this. I mean, this is just too strange...
You are so funny about your new house! You'll get used to it and hey it might be the best decision you ever made. Having personal space may seem daunting at times but can ultimately be very rewarding
Two lobster rolls, two clam chowders, plus duck, onion chicken and cha sui over rice! I can't afford to eat as well or as much as you, but it's fun to watch.
Now that you’re living in Redmond you need to check out Pike Place Chowder. It wins the chowder competitions over everyone else (including New England restaurants). Their chowder is so awesome. Definitely try all their different chowders including the seared scallop chowder. That one blew me away and is the favorite for everyone I know that has tried it.
There are two kinds of lobstah rolls- with mayo or with butter. Depends where you go. Some people swear off one for the other. You got one of each kind!
I finally tried bubble tea. I like the fruity ones, coconut and mango bubble is my favorite, not overly sweet, which is a plus for me. everytime I go I get my favorite then get a 2nd one of a different mix. I don't like the chewy bubbles, I like the other that pops in ur mouth of notice but juice
Hey my girlfriend met you at TeaDo in Boston and I was so jealous when she sent me a photo of the two of you! I hope you had a wonderful time here at Boston
It's decent lobster in Boston, but you need to come to the East Coast of Canada, New Brunswick, lobster is pulled out and cooked for you within hours. It's the best in the world!
How cool that you were in a museum exhibit! I think they should have gotten your permission but then again maybe more will find your channels. CLEAR looks nice but $15 a month is too much since we fly 4-6 times a year and already have TSA pre-check.
I'm sure the museum should have contacted you about that! And please stop saying your house is creepy it's beautiful and full of amazing potential you should think positive think of all that amazing space you can use for different projects! I would love to have all those different areas!!!
9:16 "I feel like there's an aquarium in my stomach right now! Oooooh cookies!" This dude cracks me up!👍
😂😂😂 me too 😹😹
Brill was about to comment same thing!!
"oh cookies!!" and that Mr. Chen is why I subscribe to all of your channels...thank you sir. thank you for being you.😸
It would be amazing if Mikey just waited around for someone to look at the alien exibit, and then walk up to them and say something as nonchalant as "Huh, I wonder who this guy is".
Please serch help.Youre not okay.
Dr.Cocks
Bro your Japan vlogs were the best, mad respect for doing the trip by yourself
Thank You :-)
same, love it! Mikey heard you're going to Philippines too in one of ur recent mail unboxing vids hope u enjoy ur trip here especially the foods! Stay safe and have fun. :)
@Mikey Chen you're going to the Philippines? Try some food in the city called "Pampanga" it is the culinary capital of the said country. :)
Mikey Chen Mike, you going to the Philippines? Awesome! Have a safe trip and I hope to bump into you here!🤞
you should of posed next to the video, so that if someone came by, they would walk up to you, then you can scare them!
lol thought about that

OMG YOU CAME TO BOSTON?!!! Ahhh that's my hometown! Hope you enjoyed your stay!
So the museum used your content and image without your permission?
yea, but it was cool so...
Mikey Chen You are genuinely a nice guy. That is one reason I enjoy watching your videos.
Mikey Chen ,an absolute class act, love the vlogs!!
Also mike doesn't it bother you that they used the video without giving you money. or at least asking permission.
free advertisment. Once they put the disclosure, new people will subscribe. Not everything calls for straight up money
I think because it's a museum I'm ok with it...although their ticket prices were crazy :-/
It is published online technically so... but yeah I feel like they should've asked him first.
I understand that money is potentially not all he wants. The publicity is good, only if they actually give credit to him in the museum, which I'm not sure if they did or not. And again isn't it literally copyright to take his content without any permission?

"Oooh! Cookies!"
Also. I like to have a light on a timer. It helps make people think you're home and it's less scary when you get home at night!
thanks for taking us along on your adventures
For using you in an exhibit, they should at LEAST give you a free pass or two... just sayin'
haha i know right
As I mentioned above...did you call and ask?! Bet they would have comped u.
love your little one liners! "ooo cookies" "forecast eating" you're doing a great job! love your videos.
"two lobster rolls and two chowders I feel like there's an aquarium in my stoma-oh cookies!" lol Mike

More Asian restaurants in Boston/ Massachusetts please
I honestly recommend driving that trip. I live in Boston and my parents live in the NYC suburbs. By the time you drive to the airport and check in and fly, you could already be up here in your car.
Accidentally put the video on 0.5x speed and it ended up being the best thing ever.
I like how you end your videos. Quick, on point but not abrupt.
i’m from boston, i always suggest oyster house for visitors. but in my little town of quincy we have Tony’s and they have buffalo clam strips, lobsta rolls on freshly buttered rolls and something for everyone. another favorite was the lobster shack in weymouth. my friends used to sail thier dinghy across the bay to get the freshest lobster.

My wife and I just want to give you a big shoutout Mikey, we first saw you on Beyond Science channel which we still love and we follow the vlog. Love what you do! God bless

4:25 is one of the best video settings you've had haha. keep it up man i love that view.
btw you should have chose philly and made a video about Genos and Pats. That would have been awesome Mike. Please do it in the future.
Nice video, two of my favorite foods! Lobster + Clam Chowder! And not to mention get to take a look of Boston!
I missed the vlogs with road trip views!! always excited for your uploads!!
Thank You :-)

Someday I want to visit Boston and Washington DC. I love history. Living in Alaska when I was kid we used to dig for clams. It was awesome.
That is so cool they used your video!!! A bit odd they didn't notify you first
Keep up the good work, Mike. Have fun and safe travels.
You're videos always make me hungry. Loved this video!
I thought it rather glamorous to fly to Boston for lunch!
Thank you for the video!
Also Teado, is one of the best boba places in Boston, and Taiwan Cafe is really good too, I'm so happy you visited China town.

I saw your video at the museum and thought I should i should tell you some how. It's cool you made this video.

aww man you making me crave so much for lobster rolls. had one at Luke's in NYC. missed that...
Thank you for the great content every day, Mike! Such a positive experience every time I watch your videos! Cheers! ^_^
Thank You :-)
Mikey, I think you should talk to a lawyer about this. MOS or TH-cam might have broken the law by not telling you about this before using your video without your knowledge. At least ask if someone if you can consult them about this. I mean, this is just too strange...
www.mos.org/ethics There is a section on "Ownership of Scholarly Material" that might be relevant to you...
Plus i remember Salomindrin saying that youtube owns rights to all the content.
I saw that exhibit and I was like that's Mikey! It was really interesting. So cool!!
You are so funny about your new house! You'll get used to it and hey it might be the best decision you ever made. Having personal space may seem daunting at times but can ultimately be very rewarding
Chen, my man, spitting knowledge in museums and in fish shops. LETS GO!
I had to pay for a ticket :-(
That. Is pretty funny actually XD still human, eh? I hope you tried the old "But... you guys are profiting off my face.." routine.
I love the restaurants in the Boston Chinatown area Mikey! I miss that... Nice video pal!
Going to Chinatown for bubble tea is always the best thing to do! I really wanna see a tour for bubble teas in different cities or countries !! :)
Two lobster rolls, two clam chowders, plus duck, onion chicken and cha sui over rice! I can't afford to eat as well or as much as you, but it's fun to watch.
Thats really cool Mike!

I liked the video especially for the " I like rain...when im indoors or sleeping" haha. Sounded just like me
Now that you’re living in Redmond you need to check out Pike Place Chowder. It wins the chowder competitions over everyone else (including New England restaurants). Their chowder is so awesome. Congrats Mikey! Im so proud of you, and your channel 😁
Thank You :-)
Mikey Chen 👍👌👍👍👌
Forecast eating! I'm using that line next time I eat two lunches!
Mikey, you wear a backpack so also carry a spoon and fork or some chopsticks. I carry both in my kit and they often come in handy.
If you want good clam chowder you need to go to a place called dukes chowder house in seattle its amazing.
Jayden The Asian clam chowder in Seattle? You’re funny 😂😂 New England is the home of Clam Chowder
I kept replaying at 7:76 when Mikey says "Good" he sounds like Z from the movie "Antz"
Another solid video from my man Mike!!! But get paid man, you deserve it for all the hard work you put in for us
THATS SO FUNNY! I WAS LITERALLY DRIVING THROUGH BOSTON WHEN MIKEY WAS THERE! WHAT A COINCIDENCE!
There are two kinds of lobstah rolls- with mayo or with butter. Depends where you go. Some people swear off one for the other. You got one of each kind!

Omg when Mikey Chen goes to your favorite boba shop

You got talent in this! Keep it up man!

Mike, you have to go to James Hook and Co for the best lobster roll in Boston. And to Captain Parker's Pub in Cape Cod for AMAZING clam chowder!
Casey N. wouldn't agree to that lobster roll being fresh (jk, but ,love your videos, especially the "perfect bowl of Ramon")
1 hr flight from JFK to Toronto, dude. Go up during the Caribbean Carnival and gets some island food, then check out one of the Chinatowns!
The driving footage in the last couple videos... 😂
OMG, you were in Boston!! I live here. 🙂
Hey my girlfriend met you at TeaDo in Boston and I was so jealous when she sent me a photo of the two of you! I hope you had a wonderful time here at Boston
thank you! I'll be back
Man I'm hungry now. Boston food looked really great. You can drive and film? Clear seems great! You are in a museum? Very cool!
:-)
*Proud* of you Mikey!
Literally one of the best channels on TH-cam. I wouldn't mind a Philly cheesesteak video heheh 😏
Strictly Dumpling and Beyond Science in a Mikey Chen video.
:-0 Am I in heaven?
I was in boston THREE DAYS BEFORE YOU!! Wish i was there to meet you
why does there look like there is a neon green alien standing behind Mike's porch 😨12:08
It's decent lobster in Boston, but you need to come to the East Coast of Canada, New Brunswick, lobster is pulled out and cooked for you within hours. It's the best in the world!
I like the way u say whoo cookies ~ ^^ even though u just ate. Keep up the good work
