My family, and myself, have had dependency issues with alcohol along with cardiac problems. Watching your videos has inspired me to finally quit drinking. I'm 21 days in and keep watching your alcohol info video over and over to help me keep going with this. I'm currently over-weight and have experienced one very scary episode of afib. Working on the weight, down 10lbs. I'll get there. Thank you again for your help.

I really appreciate your honesty. As parents we have trusted the life of our son Eduardo to the hands of surgeons since he was born. Shunts, replacements of shunts, fontan operation at two years old, pace maker at 5, his first heart transplant at 12 years old, this heart lasted 15 years until his coronary arteries started failing and needed an stent that ended up causing a heart attack a week latter. He was rushed to surgery to put him in a heart pump and transferred to North Western Hospital in Chicago where a month later received his second heart transplant. He received the
Call at midnight the day of his 28 birthday. It is been over a year since that happened and one of the things that I’m most grateful for is people like you who dedicate their lives serve others and to make a difference in their lives. Thanks for your hard work. God bless you!

@@drjeremylondon I've probably taken an interest in the day to day lives of heart surgeons a little more than most, after having an aortic dissection and repair some years ago. It's great to get to know surgeons in clinic, but to see how you live your day to day lives is very interesting. Your content is authentic and much appreciated.

One thing that helped me with sleep and I'm sure I might get hated on for this. I'm not a cardiac surgeon I know it's stressful being on call and everything that comes with it but what I noticed is when I quit drinking coffee my sleep improved drastically. It was tough because I usually go to bed around 10:00 PM and wake up around 4 am as well naturally but after I quit coffee I felt more energized. Obviously everything works differently for certain people but that's just my opinion. 😀

I have a lot respect for Dr London. I’ve done a lot of research recently and there are so many different doctors that think they know it all it is unbelievable; Dr London however, gives you the advice and also highlights that different food and drinks etc work for different people. I appreciate there is some general consensus about a healthy lifestyle but not to the point where some specialists are blinkered, and “selling” their opinion.
In fact his channel is more about lifestyle and his journey through life, both personally and professionally, and I’m sure his followers respect him for this.

If you haven’t tried the Sleep 8 mattress cover it was a game changer as far as sleep for me. My wife and I can have separate bed temps. She enjoys warmer, I need a cooler bed for optimal sleep.

Great advice Dr. London, please consider investigating the potential for the reduction of plaque by other means.
ELISA was used to measure the levels of interleukins, whereas immunohistochemistry was carried out for the evaluation of MCP-1 expression. SRP treatment significantly suppressed vascular inflammation in BALB/c mice.
Mechanistic studies demonstrated that SRP significantly inhibited the LPS-induced production of proinflammatory cytokines such as IL-2, IL-1, IL-6, and TNF-α in aortic tissue.
Furthermore, it also inhibited LPS-induced oxidative stress in the aortas of mice, whereas the expression and activity of monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) decreased after SRP treatment. In conclusion, SRP has the ability to reduce LPS-induced vascular inflammation and damage by modulating MCP-1.

Dr London, You performed a triple bypass on my mother in 2017 (Frances Ubele). She did great until she passed 2-29-2024 from other conditions. I had seen your video on your cardiac event lately. May I ask the cardiologist who performed your stint procedure? I believe I need the same soon. Can you recommend a cardiologist to examine me. My mother used Dr John Rathbun.

hello doctor I'm Danil from Petroșani, Romania, and I'm following you. I always appreciate your advice, because you have experience, and many of them are useful to us. I noticed that you drink coffee on an empty stomach, although many nutritionists advise us not to do this. Yet you drink coffee on an empty stomach-why? Who should we believe? If you wake up in the morning at 4:30, how do you manage to sleep 7-8 hours?. I would like to ask for advice on which is the best way to check the heart to assess the risk of a heart attack, CT MRI?

I had heart surgery two years ago and what bothered me the most was how the surgeon treated it like it was just something that was routine. I'm having my chest cut open yet for him it was nothing more than a day at the office. Drs these days lack compassion.

I would like to know your experiences with women on HRT. Mainly biote pellets and strokes. I am 49. In perimenopause. Have very low testosterone. Started biote testosterone pellets 2 insertions in. I love them. I feel great. Hot flashes stopped. Increased energy, libido everything. But I am paranoid of strokes. I have a family history of strokes. None myself but heart issues definitely run in my family. Afib, stroke, pacemakers due to electrical issues, etc.
