Be thankful they give you guys consistently more than 4 large rides every year. The Thomas Carnival has been coming to Duluth MN for 30+ years for the 4th of July. There used to be multiple larger/more thrilling rides when I was younger. Last 10 years the only larger rides we've gotten on a somewhat consistent yearly basis is Pharoah's Fury and the Tilt a Whirl. Otherwise it's a bunch of kiddie rides, fun houses, and games. We'll be lucky if we see the Zipper this year.
Just watched the whole thing and it was totally incredible. I had the chance to visit it last year and I had a blast filming there. This video makes me wanna come back and with the return of Wild Mouse it makes it better
Thx for this video. Me and my kids are visiting next weekend and I don't see much to do for a 1 year old... Is that true? If so, I think I'll have to leave her behind and enjoy the rides with my 7 year old
Merrika Brown There are a lot of kiddie rides too, but I feel that the event is geared more towards the older kids. Regardless, have a good time and thanks for the nice comment.
I was disappointed that they took out the Spider this year, the Octopus is my favorite ride of all time and the Spider is close to it, so I was sad to not see that ride this year.
Kevin Shimkets The complex itself does not have music, however many of the individual rides play music. To be honest, at times it’s a little hard to hear the music due to the noise of the rides indoors...
On a pretty cool note, Durant purchased Typhoon and Pharaoh's Fury (as well as Super Shot, but it obviously wasnt there) from Bates Amusement. So it was cool to get back on it after those two used to operate together with some of the Bates Brothers Amusement pieces at the Canfield Fair
Boy, I was quite the prick in my narration here. I think I’m better off just staying quiet. My apologies for anything offensive I said… especially to they hard-working carnival workers. I must have been in a bad mood during this part of my life. 🤷🏻♂️
I’ve watched a few of your videos. I live just down the road in Columbus, and some of these rides have different names than I’m used to. I don’t know if it’s because they just don’t always have the same name or because I haven’t ridden any of them in 30 years. But I’m used to that one ride being called super loops, and others called scrambler, monster, round up, and Himalaya. Maybe another one or two. Seems like these rides have all had the same name in the past regardless of whether it was Cedar Point, Kings Island, Ohio State fair, or Franklin County fair. I do know the zipper as the zipper, though. And wild mouse. And wildcat.
That place is so much better than the Ohio State fair. It has all the rides that would’ve been at the fair when I was young, before they took out the grandstand and track, and then a lot more. And the rides are so much better. First relating to maintenance, as well as newer rides that just didn’t exist 30 years ago.
@@deadpool-lj8cr they are older and hard to maintain...also this guy who made the video made fun of them...they got shy and took it back because of him
I really wish Reithoffer was able to bring more rides, so I don't have to go three hours to Youngstown to ride them. I notice that Durant severely scaled the ride cycle of the Orbiter back. At the Clark County Fair years ago they would run the ride at full tilt for longer than the specifications. Lots of people would get sick on that ride. I still don't know who owns the Wildcat. My question is, why is Bates still doing these events? Bates Amusement was supposed to stop doing events a couple years ago. But it seems like they're still buying rides. Wish Bates Brothers would have brought their Music Express, and that Poor Jack would have been there and had their Wipeout and Freak Out
Justin Beebs This year’s event runs through April 22. Admission is $25 at the gate, $23 online and $21 at Cleveland area Discount Drug Mart locations. I believe they also offer a Family 4 Pack, but not sure of the price offhand. All rides except funhouse attractions are included in admission. Parking is $10.
Since I’m in a good mood today, i’ll point out that the city is included in the video title. I’ll even do you one better and save you the hassle of looking- it’s in Cleveland, Ohio. 😃
Colin LaRue I honestly am not sure on either one. The WildCat has been here for 2 years now and I still don’t know who owns it. I thought Dragon Wagon was Durant but a quick check of their website doesn’t show that they have one. Sorry for the lack of info!
Cleveland is so lucky I live in Syracuse NY we have a Mall in the area that could’ve been put into good use named ShoppingTown Mall they could’ve of turned it into something like for example an amusement park or a indoor Waterpark.
Coach Nate Yeah, the blue tower threw me off, but I did note that Bates owned it on my tag. It was easy to tell who owned the rides for the most part thanks to the ride entrance signs!
@@coachnate3399 didn't know this. I actually figured that since Durant has a Pharaoh's Fury and a Hurricane that they would have brought theirs. Well I guess they technically did bring their own Fury ride
Thank u for this video. There's so much empty space in there. Sorry to keep commenting repeatedly. Maybe next year they'll figure out a better solution to making this event interesting. All they did this year was have two coasters, which they've done before in the not too distant past
I love coaster crazy and slothy vlogs I'm from the UK aswell twisters are quite popular as waltzers btw in the uk slothy vlogs lives in Portsmouth UK that's an hour away from me I'm from the area of the UK called ramsgate and we see twisters and waltzers all the time

So let me see if I have this straight- my voice can’t be heard (which I specifically pointed out in the video description), I shouldn’t say anything about the carnies on the WildCat due to safety reasons, and I need to do a more in depth look on the food because you tell me too. Yeah, ok... For the past 8 years I have gone without talking in my videos. I decide to try something different and my camera didn’t do so good with it, and you complain about it. I do a brief stroll through the food area and that isn’t good enough for you either. I don’t pretend to be a big TH-cam channel... I do this strictly for fun. If that isn’t good enough for you, then there are plenty of other TH-camrs out there that I’m sure do a better job than me. Although surprisingly, I have been rather successful for someone without a webpage or a place to shill his videos. Thanks for the extra view though... I always appreciate that!
@@RayPVideos So if you're doing it for , then I'd set my setting to not get any comments on your just for fun video.
