In this VladTV clip, Nick Cannon talks about how his dad kept him out of trouble through media, which included writing. As a result, his dad had him going out into the community and documenting what was going on.
Cannon broke down how he is the oldest of five boys. His mom and dad had him when they were in high school. He also spoke on how he ended up being taken in by his grandmother.
From there, Nick briefly touched on how his pops was one of the original founding members of the Bloods, but he never wanted to glorify the situation because he got out of it unscathed. - บันเทิง

Man, I was some kinda scared whenever I had to visit friends and churches in Lincoln Park, Skyline or even go down Euclid Ave. They had a fierce reputation. I was born in VA and lived in the notorious Woodsong Projects in Newport News, VA where the police had to actually live there to try to control the violence so you'd think I wouldn't be so chicken, but man!
