It really does! In real life, I try to justify spending, but really, it's just me giving myself an excuse to spend money. Laying it all out in the internet world really makes me think twice about spending money. So... this channel really does keep me accountable!
Great job! Sometimes we make mistakes but you were able to pivot and correct without too much stress! Having that ability should definitely be another testimony to you that the hard work you’re doing with your budget is working!
I was so excited to pay off a debt in full I also forgot about my life insurance coming out on the 1st. Thankfully it was Canada Day and I was able to sort it out before the payment finally posted on the 3rd.
Isn't it crazy how we become so focused on the debt, we can forget about the monthly expenses. Haha. Thankfully I have a buffer in my account, but it would have barely covered my car insurance!
