I hate new money!! And it smells!! (Former teller). Last time I stocked up on butter at a local Kwik Trip I bought 74 pounds. In order to get the sale price the cashier had to ring them up 2 at a time!! 37 receipts later😮!!

I freeze my butter all the time ! Never had an issue .. you’ll need it for Christmas baking !

Yes Mrs P ,,,its painful to deplete savings - and some day once your current credit debt is gone - you can build your emergency fund to 6 months of expenses - and it doesn't get any easier to spend ...haha - But when you have fully funded sinking funds - its such a blessing - amen - have a wonderful almost the weekend :) glenda what a wonderful example of the joy of helping your parents set for your children - you are truly BLESSED...

Love your story about your parents. I am blessed to have my parents live next door. They are in their late seventies. Their health is not great to do physical things like your parents do, but we still find ways to do things together. Those moments are precious to me. You are blessed as well. ❤

I would love to know what you think of the book. I read it earlier this year. There were some parts that were so tragic and heartbreaking, it was hard to read, but I’m glad I read it. It’s one that sticks with you. Maybe on the new Christmas tree game, you could color just one section of the tree for each dollar (still $3 per tree, but wouldn’t leave you with any extra dollars to hang on to for the next week).
