2006 was the last time I felt pure joy as a Bears fan Devin Hester Returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown in the Super Bowl was my last happy moment as a Bears fan in 22 years.
The sad thing is seeing Bears fans convinced he was great yesterday. He reminded me of how Tommy Devito played last year when GB and its shaky Defense lost to him. The main difference is that this game they blocked the game ending FG
@kurtwicklund8901 ROFL. The odds of that are probably over 1,000:1. The Bears seem terrified of Caleb throwing the ball over 10 yards and his accuracy when doing so is awful. His goal by the end of the year should be to surpass Malik Willis
What?? He was literally clutch and led a game winning drive that the special teams costed him, just like he led the game winning drive twice in the Hail Mary game
Last year, Jordan Love did not look good before his mid-season turnaround. Lots of sports pundits were already writing him off as a bust. This year, the one bad mark against him has been the interceptions, which seem to come at the worst moments, but the Packers are in a better position than they were in 2023. They had to win out then just to finish one game above 500. This year, they've won 3 games coming from behind in the 4th quarter. Yesterday's INT was not a bad decision. It was a bad throw. He had Kraft open and just overthrew him. Sky still looking pretty blue in Green Bay.
From the Caleb Williams out-of-bounds flop, to me the game became nothing but a call to put that QB on his back, legally but hard. Pitiful. Truly, he should be ashamed.
The Packers gave the Bears opportunities. They failed to finish drives, they turned the ball over, they kept failing to keep containment, they had some questionable play calling. Yet the Bears found a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. It’s very Bears.
Outside the of the pick I thought Love played well. The problem with this team isn’t moving the ball. It’s scoring in the Redzone. MLF has called some stinker plays in the redzone this year.
As a GB Packer fan, I enjoy watching and listening to your comments. However, I disagree with you and other commentators who keep saying that Jordan needs to prove that he's worthy of the contract given. Contracts are an investment to what a team believes that someone is capable of, PERIOD. Although that belief can easily be shattered by injuries, meager performance, poor coaching, opposing team's schemes, etc. The true measurement of Jordan's contract was because of what he did on and off the field; of which he's already proven worthy. Finally, the excellence of what he achieves on the field going forward will ONLY measure his future bonuses, awards, and next contract. GPG!
I remember going to a Bears game in lambeau. The tuba section from UW Wisconsin was marching around the field with the saying "the Bears still suck" on the covers to the horns. They were forced to take the covers off by the NFL official's.
I'm still waiting for a full game from GB. The wins are nice but performance wise we're off to a slow start. I agree, it is time that this team dials it in and make an impressive run to the NFC championship game.
As a Packer fan, I can admit that is a game we should have lost. We got REALLY lucky. The defense stunk and the offense only has flashes. Love looks like he did early last year, not late in the year! I don't think we're as good as we think we are.
As a packers fan, I’m starting to believe more and more in using MW in the red zone, he proved himself during that 2 game stretch early on in the season. His arm looks genuinely good enough and with his legs he can become really effective in the red zone
Another aspect to consider with Jordon love his he has been playing thru some significant injuries throughout the season. Yes some of the interceptions have been off dumb decisions. But some are just misthrows that come from a bad base due to lower extremity injury.
we scored on 3/5 of our red zone trips, Love had a 113 rating and we won. We looked rough on defense but like. 7-3 and crying is ridiculous. Chiefs almost lost to Denver. Detroit lost to Tampa. Shit happens.
What's worse against Washington was fumbling at the gole Line. Instead of running the ball with a running back, they attempted to recreate Refrigerator Perry by running the ball with an offensive lineman. Your offense coordinator should be fired up for that.
Packers fan here. The issue is our ability to capitalize on our redzone trips. Top 5 offense with a bottom 5 redzone touchdown percentage. If they were even average they are probably a one loss team. That’s what concerns me as a fan
I never get this extremely common comment. These athletes have been playing football their entire lives. They make a few million $ at the very bottom of the pay scale. Yet folks refer to them as if they are 15-yr-old high school freshmen. Are they just extremely slow learners? Over excitable boys making the stupidest mistakes gathering unforced penalties like my 6-month-old naughty pointer in the pheasant fields?
Packers didn’t break us, the Hail Mary broke the bears, our defense has been struggling since that game, Caleb been off since that game, eberflus looks lost coaching since that game and our OC been fired since that game
Dont get too hung up on red zone efficiency. Its a really small sample size halfway through the season. Packers have one of the most efficient offenses in the league.
Thats whats wrong with today. Everybody wants instant gratification. The bears have the pieces but they still need to put the work in. This is Caleb's first year leading an NFL team. Hes shown good signs but he has to grow. They also have a new offense. Give them time. They've lost tough games that could've went either way. These are learning moments.
Guys....what game were you watching? Jordan love had a really good game. He only threw the ball 17 times and completed 13 of them for 261 yards. Typically it takes well over 20 completions to get that many yards. The completion percentage was high. People are hung up on his one bad INT but Jordan's problems this year have been with bad decision making. His INT was not a bad decision. Kraft was wide open on that play. His throw just sailed over Kraft. I'd rather see a missed throw than another forced pass that gets picked like he did in the Rams and Lions games. Also worth noting that GB was 4-6 at this point last year, and Jordan was just beginning to play like the QB we had hoped he would be.
Packers are a good team who even when they don’t play their best can find a way to win. Bears are a bad team that can’t take advantage of mistakes from the other team and then can’t get out of their own way
The bears played a really good game. Yea, that loss is brutal and makes making the playoffs really tough, but they showed they can be a solid team and have a lot of talent that wasn’t being utilized correctly. The NFC north is gonna be fun to watch for the next few years
I couldn't believe the Packers were going to lose. Perfect execution and well within range. Of course, they should have gone for another down but didn't. Then the block, it turned into totally shock and elation. However, GB isn't going to be a deep threat in the playoffs playing the way they are. They constantly almost beat themselves.
Not sure why "everyone hates the Packers." I guess because its the only professional sports franchise in North America owned by the fans? That makes sense.
As a Packers fan, I'm glad we won, but I don't hate the Bears. I did feel bad for them. Most of my friends that are Bears fans are great, but they do care a lot more about beating us.
Let's be honest. In 5 trips to the Red Zone, the Packers scored 3 TD's, finished 1 yard short of one and a high throw short of another. Jordan love was 13 for 17 with almost 16 yards per attempt and a QB rating of 113, including the pick. Da' Bears shouldn't even been in this thing at all. And their luck ran out on the blocked FG. Go Pack Go!!!
I'm not worried about the interceptions. Love has a 3.7% percent of turnover worthy plays which is 11 plays and 11 interceptions: Sam Darnold is at 4.1%, Kirk C. is at 4.1%, Jarod Goff 3.9 %, Dak P. 4.7%, J. Hurts 4.1 %, Drake M. 5.2%, and A. Richardson 4.6%. The difference is Love has been unlucky. Justin Herbert has had 9 turnover worthy plays and only thrown 1 interception, Hurts has 14 TWPs and only 5 interceptions. Conversely, Mahomes has 10 TWPs and 11 interceptions. The interception per TWP generally averages out throughout the year.
Bears fans should take heart. New O coordinator got way more out of O. Yes, there will be adjustments, but Bears are ascending clearly. Stacked division ya, but beat Vikings twice and things get interesting quick. Go Bears, when ever not playing green and gold.
And that's eleven straight wins against the Bears. Even when the Packers play poorly the Bears still can't close the deal. You were as close as you've been, though. Better luck next year.
Sins of the father. Ditka using William Perry as a RB to humiliate the Packers has brought on a slew of pain. Detroit should learn as they run up the score in the same manner. At some point they’ll be back on the bottom (soon) and nobody will care when they cry like Chicago
All I'm saying is that the Lions had better win it all this year, because their championship window is closing especially fast after this season. Goff & St Brown's extensions kick in. Hutchinson, Sewell, LaPorta, and Gibbs need to get paid. They need to figure out what to do about Jameson Williams. They're gonna have some serious roster attrition starting in 2025, and if they don't win the Lombardi this year, there's gonna be a ton of "what-ifs"
The Lions lead the league in pulling their starters, which is quite literally the opposite of running up the score. How many other teams have knelt out the game from WITHIN THE FIVE YARD LINE? This season or ever? The Lions consistently leave points on the filed, you enormous crybaby.
@@NFL_ref_admirer Odd you shout crybaby when all I mentioned was karma....seems like your a tad "fragilé" in your teams actual chances of pulling out the championship. Since it's been what, 67 yrs

Everyone saying Love and his interceptions are bad but the Packers won pretty for a decade with Rodgers and his no interceptions. Still didn’t win shit. Give me the gun slinger
Amazing what a simple missed kick can do to a franchise. I'm with optimistic Paul here. They played well enough to beat the Packers. No reason they can't take their frustration out on the Vikings. 😉
If Love does not improve in the Redzone and ball security…then the Packers could easily loose the next three games vs. the Niners, Dolphins and Lions. Three really tough games in just 12 days.
as a packers fan, the bears fans talk shit because every year have won the offseason since 2012 they got Brandon Marshall, and alshon jeffery, and yet the reality is they still suck. The results are still the same.
This is why Bear fans need to chill out... they spent all off season hyping themselves up, trashtalking, and celebrating before the first game of the preseason. They're going to go into the offseason looking to throw the baby, the baby bath, and the mother out with the bath water. And then they don't get better.
The Jordan love hate for the game was a little over hyped. His adjusted completion percentage was 88% including an INT. He drove the team to the bears 10 yard line every drive but one. The play calling has been as much of the problem as loves aggressiveness. He threw for about 261 yards on like 13 completions. It wasn't all check downs like chicagos offense relied on. There was one bad throw and one that was probably too aggressive if being critical but was a big gain. Thats not a bad day in the office.
the bears fans do this to themselves by winning every offseason, the hope without any fundamental development is the hallmark of bears dysfunction. you can't reasonably have hope without actually building on the fundamentals. caleb just isn't an nfl talent qb which is fact that is hidden by the overall dysfunction
I disagree about not earning his bag. Packers are sitting 7-3 .... Thats a pretty damn good record for a 50mil qb. He definitely needs to clean up some aspects or his game, but he still having a damn good season
So far this season, when comparing QBs in the same pay range👀, he has a better record than T-Law, better than Dak, better than Burrow. The only QB with a better record that Love @ that pay scale is Goff
It's pretty evident that he played better when Jaire went down and they reverted to a Justin Fields type offense. Got a usual OC change bump but it's gonna get worse from here on, mark my words
I will say to bears fans that keep saying the Christian Watson catch was not a catch is so dumb it was his hand was underneath the ball it is a routine catch. The drive before we did that the bears had 2 false starts not called and one was called on the defensive guy as the Keenan moved and a Oline men. So the refs were doing everything they could to get the bears in good positions
Keep in mind Paul and Ziggy the Packers know they aren't playing their best football. If and this is a BIG if, if they get their act together all I am saying is look out the NFC North will be up for grabs! No one can afford to lose a game for the rest of the season -keep the pedal to the metal and please tell Jack no more, " I'll go naked dares!"
Maybe the Bears shouldn't have given up a 60 yard completion to Watson on the Packers last drive. That play had as much to do with the loss as the blocked kick. Which was a great play by a great late round draft pick. Stop your crying you purple babies. 👶🏽. You guys are jealous that the Packers actually know how to draft and build longterm success. I am a Bears fan and the Bears are the only Chicago team that hasn't won a championship in my lifetime and it is the team I care about the most.
Never feel sorry for your rivals and dont widh them sucess. One cannot be happy while the other is happy.
2006 was the last time I felt pure joy as a Bears fan Devin Hester Returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown in the Super Bowl was my last happy moment as a Bears fan in 22 years.
Caleb Williams has started his justin Fields "cant throw much beyond 5 yard and just runs a lot " arch
The sad thing is seeing Bears fans convinced he was great yesterday. He reminded me of how Tommy Devito played last year when GB and its shaky Defense lost to him.
The main difference is that this game they blocked the game ending FG
By season's end it will be clear Williams will be the better QB than Love.
@@kurtwicklund8901 😂
GPG!
As a packer fan we handed them that game many times on a platter and they would not take it
As a packers fan I hope you all know we feed off the hate
I remember going to a Bears game in lambeau. The tuba section from UW Wisconsin was marching around the field with the saying "the Bears still suck" on the covers to the horns. They were forced to take the covers off by the NFL official's.
Packers play calling in the red zone has been horrible
A double QB wildcat would be so cool
We need to utilize him like Taysom Hill on the Saints
Bears fans were far more depressed when Rodgers hit Cobb on 4th down in week 17 of the 2013 season to win the north lol
I think the INt overshadows an otherwise great game ... 4 incompletions and over 15/ypa is wild.
I’ve never felt bad if the Vikings, or Bears when they suck. Every team goes through a low
As a GB fan I felt bad for yesterday too. I went from well the streak had to end to wooing like Ric Flair all over my house
One of the most satisfying wins against the bears in recent memory
Remember the Packers are the youngest team in the NFL and cruising at 7-3. The oldest player on the team is 29. They will only get better from here
I never get this extremely common comment.
Also by the time they get better won’t we lose most of them due to the salary cap and Love’s outrageous salary package?
Packers didn’t break us, the Hail Mary broke the bears, our defense has been struggling since that game, Caleb been off since that game, eberflus looks lost coaching since that game and our OC been fired since that game
Dont get too hung up on red zone efficiency. Its a really small sample size halfway through the season. Packers have one of the most efficient offenses in the league.
The Bears were no broken on Sunday, they have been a shambles for decades. And the fans pay the price, every frigging time.
Packers fan here... I wanted to see the packers win😂
Longest victory streak against a franchise in NFL history. Dont worry Bear organization is crying foul now, so no i dont feel bad for them.
As bears fans we are used to this my guy. Just shit sundae after shit sundae
Bears are a bad team that can’t take advantage of mistakes from the other team and then can’t get out of their own way
I never feel bad for the Bears fans because they're insufferable whether they win or lose.
Jealousy
Been a Packer fan for over 60 years, and none of the NFC north team's fans feel pity for the other teams. EVER! GPG
loving it in the land of the cheeseheads!
Yay! We broke the bears! 🎉
Bears fans should take heart. New O coordinator got way more out of O. Yes, there will be adjustments, but Bears are ascending clearly. Stacked division ya, but beat Vikings twice and things get interesting quick. Go Bears, when ever not playing green and gold.
That Bears D is no joke, good luck next week Vikes.
And that's eleven straight wins against the Bears. Even when the Packers play poorly the Bears still can't close the deal. You were as close as you've been, though. Better luck next year.
Packers worst > Bears best. Go Pack Go!!!

1957 will still resonate after this year for you and your lil’ cubbies and even the Vikings will laugh at you
I don't think anyone would object to the Vikings giving the Bears a pity victory after what happened against Green Bay. What do say Vikings, roll for Chicago on Sunday to show how bad you feel for them. I'm sure Detriot would gladly cheer you on along with Green Bay.
The fact it took a blocked fg on the last play of the game is worrisome to a packer fan
😂 Things don't just go the Packers way after 30 years. They're a better franchise there's levels to this
Everyone saying Love and his interceptions are bad but the Packers won pretty for a decade with Rodgers and his no interceptions. Still didn’t win shit. Give me the gun slinger
Amazing what a simple missed kick can do to a franchise. I'm with optimistic Paul here. They played well enough to beat the Packers. No reason they can't take their frustration out on the Vikings. 😉
Yall are haters lol go Pack Go ❤
I still remember how bad the pack was and how good the bears were ( the 80s ).
Pardon me if I have no sympathy.
GPG from South Bend
Paul, this is exactly why the Vikes aren’t ready for a true rivalry. Vikings’ pity only deepens their misery.
It was a tough loss for the Bears 😂😂😂😂 Go Pack Go
This is why Bear fans need to chill out... they spent all off season hyping themselves up, trashtalking, and celebrating before the first game of the preseason. They're going to go into the offseason looking to throw the baby, the baby bath, and the mother out with the bath water. And then they don't get better.
Paul is right! Bears bout to finish out the season 7-0 !! :D
The bears still suck, always will, we own them forever! Go Pack GOOOO!
"It's the hope that kills ya". - Old lady bartender from Ted Lasso
2013 week 17. 4th & 8, 46 seconds......
I agree with Ziggy. The Bears have a tough schedule and might not win another game.
It's pretty evident that he played better when Jaire went down and they reverted to a Justin Fields type offense. Got a usual OC change bump but it's gonna get worse from here on, mark my words
Everything was set up for the Packers to go 0-6 in the division, but nope! The Bears exist :(
Ziggy loves talking what ifs🤣🪤🤒
The Bears were way broke before the Packers Bears game. Bad ownership has done the team wrong
Packers fan. I definitely enjoy when the bears suck. I drink copium at night before bed.
Us packers fans wouldn’t be so hard on the Bears if they didn’t talk so much shit every offseason
Your franchises are pathetic and you know it. The Vikings have zero history and tradition. Well, other than the tradition of being losers. The Bears history and tradition is owned by the Green Bay Packers. Ironic since Halas gave Lambeau the money to keep the Packers alive.
