In week 9 and 10 they got the W with a fair bit of luck and when they finally played a team with all its bearings they looked mediocre. I am not saying the Chiefs are bad but they seem to have a low ceiling on offense.
The Chiefs are in one of the most competitive divisions this year, have played (and won) against the Ravens, Bengals, Chargers, Niners, Bucs and Broncos. Falcons as well. The Raiders and Saints were the only flat out weak teams the Chiefs have played. By contrast, the Bills for example, have had to play the Dolphins, Jags, Jets and Titans - all bad teams. AR isn’t your typical QB. He is a heavy duty, Bo Jackson style, QB. He can’t put his hand up and get the second string RB from the sideline to take the next handoff after a tough series of plays. Goff stands in the pocket and throws the ball. AR runs from sideline to sideline then launches the ball 60 yards down the field, not sustainable in the NFL. Great talent but he won’t survive unless he can get under center read the defense’s intent and can audible to a running play or adjust the blocking scheme upfront. He currently has to avoid the attack with his athleticism. We get him next week. Go Lions.
