This set never gets boring.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard a band where each track wears its influences on its sleeve so much but also manages to sound fresh. JD, The Sound, The Smiths, The Fall, Bunnymen then touches of more recent stuff like The Rifles and The Vaccines. I’m doing the London double next month, Rough Trade at lunch and Garage in the evening and I can’t f*cking wait!

The ghost of Ian Curtis speaks. If you're gonna have a muse, may as well have the best one. Of course, he doesn't dance like Ian. Something tells me if he started to dance he'd go completely ape and have trouble stopping. Also, just like with Joy Division, it all comes down to the songs, and they have amazing songs, holy shit!
