This video is further proof that Luffy is not a Terrorist, but a mercenary. Luffy is not a "hero" with a cause, instaed he is a military force thats up for hire if he's asked.
1 - I hold the simplistic view that Dragon's power (whatever it is or if he even ate a Devil Fruit)... He sure showed a certain mastery of it in Logue Town when he saved Luffy... But he had the fruit during Ginny's abduction? Or the fruit was still useless or too dangerous to use casually? Or is more draining than the Op Op fruit? By memory I think Luffy took 14 years to awaken his fruit... and Kaku only 2.. and there are people that couldn't even master his powers during a lifetime... 2 - One would think that the RA is too pragmatic... since their objective is a long term revolution that don't fall back easily once it ends... Like that time Moses saved his people from Egypt only to keep listening for 40 years from his protegees that "Egypt was better" while they were in the desert... And it will be stupidly difficult to listen that Ginny was a "short term goal"... mainly if Dragon reveals a really broken fruit power during the final arc... Although I can see Dragon causing the incident that marks him as the most dangerous man to the WG while regretting not having this power sooner... Até mais ver mr. Poneis
Luffy was stopped by hachi from attacking the celestial dragon he listened to hachi because he promised to. When hachis life was threatened, he said f the promise
I'm mixed on this video. In a way, it feels like Morj tore down Shanks, Luffy, and Whitebeard to propel Dragon which is unfair since we know how righteous they are. Shanks, Luffy, and Whitebeard are shown to put themselves at risk to protect the weak. Shanks and Whitebeard don't have to go through the effort of marking their territory to protect "weaklings". Dragon strikes me as the type of dude to do all the side missions first before beating the game, whereas Oda wants to show you the other 3 do whatever they want, focus on themselves, and do what they can. The other 3 have the same legitimacy as beimg called forces of good, just like Dragon. Edit: I love morjs content and the reason Im saying this is because we still have to find out what shanks and whiteveard know about the world and what Luffy's dream is. Talking about dragons morals and planning feels too soon.
@@josesosa3337 he wasn’t tearing down the other three. He was just stating that they weren’t true heroes. Even Luffy confirm that he’s not a true hero. His point was that the people that the Fanbase praises have selfish reasons for doing good, while dragon is the most selfless example of a hero in the story.
Morj saw the Sukuna fraud allegations in the jujutsu kaisen fandom. He knew he had to take action first to protect his client ("strick hard, strick first, no mercy")
I feel like people are also forgetting that Sabo's mission to Mariegeois was not to save Kuma, they just added that to their goals when they stumbled upon hus shambling robocorpse being abused.
Exactly that’s why ion even bother debating it’s pretty straight forward. This is war sacrifices will have to be made for the greater good, if dragon pursued and rescued Ginny they would’ve lost everything they’ve built plus they got ambushed 😅 The revolutionaries were pretty much lacking military power at the time and were broke asf even vegapunk didn’t wanna give them aid so who else but dragon and kuma is fucking with imu, admirals, gorosei, god knights, cp0 😂 This is what they signed up for the only time dragon has bothered to save anyone was Luffy and when the ivankov heard ace was luffys brother thinking he was dragons son aswell. He thought dragon would’ve forsure showed up at marineford and took the marines on alongside the whitebeard pirates. This is Kuma’s flashback not dragon’s so oda is going to hold off on showcasing everything about dragon and his entire history and the things that lead him to this point 😮
Essentially compared to the romantic and ideal way of pursuing their goals and doing what they want like Luffy and Garp. Dragon is talking the path less walked and arguably the more realistic means to schieve his motives.
This is one piece lol luffy straight up go to wg when robin get kidnapped and fisher tiger alone climb and free the slaves dragon doing nothing for 2 years after ginny kidnapped is fraudulent behavior.
@@ulyssesglemao6783 did you watch the video on mute? The whole point is that Dragon doesnt value ginny any higher than the other slaves of the celestial dragons. Luffy is lucky the CDs didnt capture someone from his crew because you know damn well he would storm Marijois, and guess what, the gorosei and gods knights are a FUCK TON stronger than Rob Lucci, he would get slaughtered
@@ulyssesglemao6783 Tiger was the first person in history to do it so he caught the WG offguard. He was a slave in Marejois and only somehow escaped to do that breakout so he must've had some idea of the layout. Plus, he himself was the only risk if he failed. Luffy outside of meta MC excuse. In story lucks out quite a lot and even in the Robin situation only got so far because the Franky family helped get the crew to where they needed to be and even then barely escaped. 1 Admiral was all that was needed for failure and luckily it was Aokiji who'd let them go for Robin at the time.
@@KatsuImagitian Exactly. To add on, you are never going to topple the world government by doing small raids on marijois. Eventually, youre going to have to fight the gorosei, imu, gods knights, admirals, navy, etc in a war. If you dont build an army, the CDs are gonna stay in power. Fisher Tiger (although he is a chad) didnt overthrow the world government which is Dragons goal
And more importantly, all of the revolutionary members understand and have extreme respect and loyalty to Dragon. These are high character people with strong wills. There is no way Kuma or ivankov fight under a weak leader.
I am glad to see someone besides Tekking point this out. Dragon if anything is pragmatic. Would he have wanted to go for and rescue a commander that was captured? Probably. Would it be practical and help achieve their overall goal? No. The time and resources needed to pull such a mission isn't smart. It's why Dragon has worked as he has, freeing islands in clusters around the world. He is waiting for the perfect strike. The right amount of global instability, the right number of free islands willing to fight with him, the right perfect mask off moment for the World Government's evil and corruption so that he can end this in a single targeted attack and cause as little collateral as possible.
In that framing context Dragon has been whittling down the World Government's influence little by little while the newer generation like Sabo and Luffy can explode to shake the world.
Honestly its an Age thing, the older readers understand that what Dragon is doing is what you need to do to win a war, he does not have the luxury to act out of his emotions like Luffy or even Garp, he needs to be a cold blooded tactician to win the war against basically Nazis on Steroids. Does not mean he is in any way a lesser D. then his Family, IMO he is an even greater D., because he is sacrificing his own personal freedom of choice for the future freedom of the whole world.
@@zigazdovc6175 it’s not an age thing. Im 15 and I understand that dragon cant just mindlessly charge in to save one comrade. Not when he’s this close to the main goal. It could really mess him up cuz this is the WG we’re talking about. u canNOT just walk all over them like that and get away with it
Looking at his design now it's kind of interesting. He has a tattoo over his left eye, like Dragon, swirly tattoos, like zoans, and a tattoo of a circle surrounded by 8 points, like the Kozuki crest and countless other symbols like it in the series (even the cross Kuma holdds Ginny's corpse under in the church has them).
Dragon and the revolutionary army offer a REAl depiction of what a revolutionary force actually looks like. It's not like every time a soldier gets captured you have a whole army up in arms trying to save them. Fuck, Garp got captured saving Koby, Luffy almost got killed in Marineford, Whitebeard got killed. If Dragon went after every single soldier that gets captured they would've lured him and killed him decades ago.
I agree generally, however there is something to be said for the deterrent effect when you do retaliate for every casualty. We actually saw this effect take place after alabasta when buggy refused to so much as touch ace because he knew that it would cause whitebeard to retaliate. If there wasn’t that implicit threat of whitebeard retaliating then far more people would attack members of his crew. It’s also the reason why whitebeard offering his flag to fishman island made the entire island significantly more peaceful. That being said, it’s quite a different story when the enemy is just as (if not more) powerful, which is why dragon gets a pass for not rescuing ginny
@@spacecoyote6101 true. and that's a point i've made many times as to why it was important for whitebeard to rescue ace, why it was irrelevant that ace was his 2nd division commander and the son of roger, and why the whitebeard pirates and allied crews were so willing to join the rescue effort. However, with dragon and the revolutionaries, that deterrent factor isn't as relevant. By nature of being revolutionaries, they are actively pursued by the government anyway, as the government's top priority.
@@spacecoyote6101 Sure but here we must consider the difference in Nature of the Revolutionaries. Whitebeard was part of the Balance of Power, he knew his place. That the WG wasn't actively taking out Commanders but only did so when the opportunity came with Ace capture is because the risk here wouldn't be worth it. The WG would need to constantly keep up a force like Marineford, expect a fight like Marineford because they keep on provoking the Yonkos into a fight. Why would you do that? The Yonkos at end are pirates, they don't care about a war with the WG. If the WG lets them be at New World only casually checking for weakpoints, containing them and sow dissent between them so that they are too busy having a stalemate between the fight for the PK, they're fine. The Revolutionaries are different because they actively fight to take down the WG, upset their authority not only on one ocean, but the whole world. So the Revolutionaries cannot be allowed to grow as every quarter given allows them to expand. So they must act in a constant Siege Mentality. Every move, every charge, every dare for battle can be the moment to break them all. So they must act cautious. Think about it, the SHs only actively challenged the WG once and they all almost lost their life more than once, got all the possible support they could've gather for such an attack on Enies Lobby, had to exhaust their leader to the point that he couldn't move anymore and still needed luck to pull it off. The Revos have their operation running for almost two decades now and seemingly only permanently lost one Commander while surely actively seeking fights with Kingdoms and Marine Commanders. That means they're actually very effective. A ginny is irreplacable, but so is every other strong fighter in their force. She might have taken down dozens of Rear or even Vice Admirals, yet this hasn't shaken the WG in any way. We see that even an Admiral if taken in measures is at end replacable, as while they still had to take drastic measures, they still managed to replace two of their most important Fighters. For them tho, their is no second Dragon.
@spacecoyote6101 did you not watch the video? the revolutionary army is not a "crew," it is a group of people who are united by their willingness to take down the WG. Dragon is not like Whitebeard or Luffy. He is not the "protector" or "head of the famiy" in the revolutionary army. The goal is to save everyone from the WG. Ginny just happened to join the people suffering at the hands of the WG. The plan does not change just because there is one more person suffering.
I agree with you entirely and have thought about this quite a bit during the story. That is, i agreed with you up until Wano. Luffy said his speech about not being a hero in fishman island, but I think that he has changed his view of the world since then. Jimbe has joined the crew and he has a strong sense of right and wrong in a very societal context. His roll of helmsman signals that he will guide Luffy with his wisdom and understanding of the world and its oppression. In Dressarosa, Luffy shows progress. When Law says that he wants luffy to leave, Luffy says "what will become of this country?" But the real change came in Wano. I think that making Momonosuke ask him for help was just a way of training momo to be a better leader instead of taking control himself. Luffy really internalizes the starvation of the people and goes after Kaido for the express purpose of saving the country. During his final clash, he started talking to Kaido about what kind of world he imagined, which is something he has never done before. I think this transition from accidental liberator to purposeful liberator, is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT character development for luffy and may have been the thing that unlocked gear 5 for him as he ascends to be the god of liberation he was destined to be.
Hes definitely changing, and is being setup that by the time he finds the one piece, he will challenge the government and by then itll be because not because of comrades, but its the right thing to do. A slow shift is happening where luffy is thinking more and more with righteousness, and I personally think the One Piece will be the final push where luffy does a full stand regardless of personal connection type deals
Good analysis and most likely the reason why Luffy's will and his Devil Fruit's will synced up causing it to awaken. Remember, Nika is the God of Liberation. Luffy, before Wano, was not. But his changing attitude about what should be done with the world around him helped to awaken his fruit.
Totally agree with this one We literally are shown in the same chapter that at that current time, they were severely lack of manpower that Kuma had to zip around countries to help with the almost failing revolution. They had no time and manpower to spare to wage war against Marijoa. Some people really need to learn how to read, I swear.
Even in the present he abandoned his base of operations when black beard attacked it to avoid wasting the lives of his army on a dick measuring contest with a Yonko
People are so brainwashed from PIRATES going in and sacrificing everything for one comrade. They think Dragon will forfeit the goal of saving the entire world and literally suicide just to TRY (very, very likely not succeed) in saving ONE comrade that he is definitely not close to at all.

This video changed my perspective on Dragon as a character. Specifically the Wyper /Dragon connections in which they have many parallels. Commanding a revolution goes beyond friendship or personal ties, it's about doing what's morally right for the sake of the world and its future.
@jiyanmehta7250 Plot holes? Also, I don't think addressing Dragon's reason should be needed. It seems to me that your line of thinking might stem from the fact that the story is serialized. I doubt this would be seen as an issue if we were reading One Piece as a whole. What do you think?
I think Oda will show that freedom needs righteousness. After all, Celestial Dragons have the freedom to oppress too. Just because freedom exists doesn’t mean righteousness does too.
@@edwinvargas7969absolutely they need to work together and I cannot see Dragon beating the world government without the mind boggling power the pirates possess, no matter how many forces and hax he has. Luffy and Shanks blatantly oppose the WG to further their own goals while Dragon intends to destroy it by any means, and it will unfortunately take more sacrifices before they can be defeated.
One thing I want to add about Dragon is that, of all the “heroic” type people we see in One Piece, he’s the one that doesn’t play “saviour”. What I mean by that is: whenever Luffy, or Shanks, or any others free people from oppression, they do the fighting. They’re the ones that take the mantle, while the oppressed citizens just watch, rather than play any particular part in helping free their land. However, the revolutionaries seem to adamantly oppose the “saviour” narrative. All the work they do goes to aid, supporting war-torn areas- rather than swanning in and saving them, they *empower* the community to support themselves- “Whenever the weak stand up for themselves, we’ll be there”. They seem to be deeply invested in the wellbeing of the community, the way no other character is. Furthermore, another interesting point raised through the character of Dragon is the fact that a government system is not inherently evil or dangerous. While Luffy and co. are vehemently against the highly militarised, corrupt and ultra-capitalist World Govt simply because it prevents them from chilling on the water, Dragon doesn’t seem fundamentally opposed to the idea. Rather, I think one of his main goals is the establishment of a newer, more democratic system- Koala states as much “Our true enemy isn’t the government”. He knows war-torn areas, that don’t receive welfare; he knows starving people that can’t get food, because it’s been hoarded by the “strongest”; he knows the pain that lawlessness can bring, and hence wants not to abolish authority per se, but ensure it is more fair and just for all, and helps people attain equal footing and a fair life. This is important to mention, because nowhere in OP (apart from possibly the cases of Whitebeard and Fujitora) do we see a person of authority behaving with such altruism and good intent. By establishing such an important and charismatic character, I think Oda is, ultimately, saying this: “for great freedom, there must be great responsibility”.
You're so close to being right. But I think you fundamentally misunderstand the nature of Dragon's revolution. Koala's statement that "our true enemy isn't the government" is just a red herring and a way to insinuate that a great power (IMU) is behind the World Government; however, that doesn't make the World Government any less guilty in the oppression of the world. It is still the World Government that props up evil regimes, extorts people, enslaves people, upholds classist, racist, and patriarchal systems. Just because there is a power above the World Government doesn't mean the World Government is suddenly absolved from its crimes. Dragon is fundamentally oppossed to the current world order, that is what the Revolutionary army is about. Dragon doesn't want to defeat Imu and then take power himself, that would simply continue the cycle of oppression as they would still be operating within the same form of governance. The point of the revolutionary armu is to completely redefine the living expectations and standards of everyone in the One Piece world. Its goal IS NOT REFORM; IT IS NOT THE REFORM ARMY. The first step to doing so is dismantling the World Government and destroying its leader (Imu). Another thing that I was going to point out directly to @MrMorj is that the Revolutionary army isn't just freeing "innocent people." If you are overthrowing the hegomonic power then you are freeing everyone from that dominant power. The point of a revolution is to free the masses (and hopefully set up a government that is held accountable by its people; not just by the bourgeois) and the masses includes everyone. Dragon is fighting the World Government for the freedom of random Pirates on Sabaody as much as he is fighting for the freedom of random kids on Wano. Using the phrase "innocent people" is misleading because it implies that the material conditions in a post-revolutionary world will only change for those who are deemed "innocent." Ultimately, a revolution (especially of the scale of the one that Dragon is leading) is set up to dismantle all oppressive facets of the dominating regime for everyone. ie. Evil women are still "freed" the same way "good" women are from the oppression of the patriarchy Anyways, all this to say that it's disingenous tow atch Morj's video and then come to the conclusion that Dragon onl;y wants to desteroy Imu and retain the structure of World Governance that has been established by the World Government (because that is simply not true; in fact, we see Dragon's son (Luffy) fight against all the overt forms of oppression that are perpetuated by the World Government in order to contrast Dragon's goal of fighting the structural and systemic oppression that is perpetrated by the goverment).
Imagine having the closing panel for 1100 be a big storm approaching the Red Line and we get a panel of Dragon and Oda finally reveals his fruit and bounty. Huge HYPE
Considering he was introduced as the World's Most Wanted man, while Whitebeard was alive with his bounty active, I estimate his bounty to amount to 5.4billion. Still lower than Pirate King Roger(5.5) and End of Story Luffy( 5.6)[Go =5 Lu=Ru=6]
I absolutely agree with everything in this video, with the caveat that what Dragon is doing is insanely selfless. I guess the perspective is a bit off imo; it's ultimately not anyone's job to defeat the world government, but Dragon shouldered that anyway and that's what makes him the ultimate hero. That doesn't necessarily make Luffy or the other pirates selfish on its own.
I agree. I think this was a good video, but to me, Shanks, Luffy, and White beard have the same legitimacy of being called forces for good. Whitebeard seemed to believe that Ace was the one roger was waiting for. I'm sure Shanks and Dragon also have knowledge about the world and its events that the reader hasnt seen as well. Out of these 4, I think calling Luffy selfish makes the most sense because of his happy go lucky attitude towards things. Dragon strikes me as a guy thats doing all the side missions before beatimg the game with call pf his planning. But hey, this'll be easier to discuss when the story is finished.
Thank you for talking about this. The problem with most readers is their agendas. They ignore the actual lore and development of characters in their uniqueness , for the sake of powerscaling. Dragon is the most wanted man because his diligence poses the greatest threat to the goverment. As such Dragon has make it his responsibility to oversee everything from a panoramic view. Dragon is Garp’s son after all , and Luffy’s father. I’m sure once Dragon moves he would show similarities with both. Dragon is a leader , and the people he wishes to serve are those oppressed. True freedom in the real world , isn’t who lives the freest ( like Luffy and Roger think) , it’s the ability to live free from oppression and lies. That’s what Dragon is fighting for , and he knows that he has to limit his emotions and impulses. Every move that he makes is calculated. Every decision he makes has the possibility of liberating thousands. Dragon is selfless , and doesn’t live for himself. He has sacrificed his own personal ambition , for the sake of truth and freedom. If Luffy is the drums of liberations , the beat that signals presence.. than Dragon is the Sword of Justice.
does he risk his own life though?, he just waits and looks for a chance, he abandoned and refused to rescue his subordinates(ginny and kuma), in the end sabo got tired and rescued him on his own risking his life, that is what you call liberation, because of sabo the world has changed so much and countries are starting to realise the governments's problems. will rescuing them(ginny and kuma) sacrifice thousands?, i dont think so.
@@rejisonzachariah5494 Seems you haven't watched the video Dragon's RA isn't like a 'pirate crew' which is basically like a family in one piece world that they would go to lengths to free one of their commanders/friends The point of joining RA is to dedicate your life for liberation of others/greater good Plus They're in much worse situations toppling kingdoms and aiming for complete world government overthrow makes them other kingdom's and world government's #1 priority to finish off That's why their would be many sacrifices in the RA too as they're fighting too big of an organization and trying to protect too many people And regarding why Dragon isn't risking his own life to save ginny and kuma ? @hrv5385 well you know oda has a tendency of putting fucked up stuff in one piece but he doesn't show it or outright state it cause it's a Shonen manga but I could definitely see him doing that especially since the further we keep going in one piece, the more messed up the backstories seem to be getting. @@robinthestate6548That's literally what happened to Ginny, the Hancock sisters and one civilian girl from Dressrossa, who ultimately committed suicide after she was allowed to return home. I’m a fan of your work but this is by far one of your best videos. I was on the side of dragon being a fraud after recent chapters. But this video violently pulled me out of it and was like a cold bucket of water to the face. I can’t wait to see more.
Much needed video. I’ve been saying this for so long first of all, people act like dragon literally doesn’t do anything. People forget - he’s not in the newspaper for no reason. He didn’t become the worlds most dangerous man by sitting on his ass. Us not following his moves =\= him not making any. But more importantly, dragon has one of the hardest if not the absolute hardest dream in the story which is to topple the actual structure of the world. Saving _everyone_ means you don’t get to just raid the enemy when they break your heart. It means you have to be methodical and dedicate your life to a level of patience _nobody_ else in the story has. It’s easy to glorify impulsiveness because of our heroes like luffy and roger. People kept criticizing dragon saying “well luffy would’ve gone to mariejois” you’re absolutely right, he would’ve. And gotten everyone killed, or best case scenario succeeded in saving Ginny while leaving the rest of the slaves to suffer and ultimately making no change to the greater structure of the world. That’s fine if you’re luffy, not if you’re the leader of the revolutionary army. People brought up the fisher tiger thing too completely missing the point. Fisher tiger freeing a bunch of slaves was awesome. But what did it actually accomplish in the grand scheme?
I would like to mention that Dragon isn't sacrificing any of his subordinates, he does genuinely care for their wellbeing, its more like them them sacrifing themselfs. They know the dangers and choose to take that risk for the greater good anyways. Dragons goal isnt the same as Luffys, if Dragon loses someone, it's not that he doesn't care, he just cant let that get in the way of his, and the entire revolutionary armies mission. If one of Luffys friends gets captured, that directly hinders his own goals, because not only could he not become pirate king without his crew, but he can't go on fun adventures with someone if they got caught by the world government. Thats really what Luffy wants, to be able to go on fun adventures with his friends. Sometimes thats the sole reason Luffy recruits someone to the crew, he didn't even know Chopper was a doctor, he just thought he was a cool monster.
People forget Dragon isn’t going up against another Yonko or crew-We’re talking about the World Government and not just the Marines, would be like asking a mob organization to take down local police, the FBI, US Marshals, CIA, The Secret Service, and practically the Military and National Guard instead of asking them to be the strongest crime org and to take on other rival orgs
No no one forgot it’s just that dragon became so lame and disappointing the more he appeared post time skip every time he appears he always does nothing and his hype keeps dying and dying unlike with shanks he appeared even less than dragon but every appearance is memorable and has an impact
Morj must never stop making one Piece content like this..even when I don't agree with him, I can still see where is coming from..This breakdown was damn near perfect.no click bait just pure analysis. Beautiful
i think its kinda funny when people compare him directly with the characters you mentioned in your intro. Whitebeard rushed into a war he knew he couldnt win, putting his whole crew in danger, that event ended with his biggest enemy ending up with his own devil fruit. for the past 2 years his whole crew has been prosecuted and hunted down by the likes of the world government and blackbeard, the minks, the wano samurais, the fishmen, they had a pretty shitty life because of his death for the past 2 years. garp rushed into yonko territory almost getting a bunch of marines who are i guess around vice admiral level and above in danger and almost started a war with a yonko that could have led to a massive loss in marine firepower people want to see badass people breaking shit up. dragon isnt looking for a fight in one piece, he is waging war against the most powerful and ruthless people on the one piece universe, he cant quite afford to do dumb shit
@@wisdommanari6701 being a great character, role model or captain isn't the same that being a great leader. In my opinion a great leader is someone like king cobra. Besides garp out of all of them is literally allergic to being a leader and stayed a vice admiral for years because he doesn't want responsibilities
Its also interesting to remember the one time Whitebeard was pragmatic, and didnt rush in to liberate Wano from Kaido. Oden was already dead, and he recognized a lot of chaos would happen that could hurt others. The chaos of the marineford war proved his point. Power shifts happened on a global scale. His death made a power vaccumm wnd balckbeard ascended through the chaos of marineford. And fans made fun of whitebeard for not rushing into Wano during that time.

This video opened my eyes to the depth of Dragon's character and his significance in the world of One Piece. The analysis of his contrasting traits compared to other leaders like Whitebeard and Shanks was particularly intriguing. A well-crafted exploration of one of One Piece's most enigmatic characters!
Valid point, Dragon is the only one looking out for everyone. Now the question is, what kinda food is it gonna take for Luffy to finally go wreck Mariejois.
It's being set up for Luffy's involvement to come via the food shortage after the Revs destroyed their the MJ food supply. If the WG start taking food esp from people Luffy cares about, Luffy absolutely well get involved.
Dragon can't risk his whole army on just one person, when he's fighting for the freedom of millions probably billions. Crazy how people don't understand this. Sacrifices are what win wars
On the Moral Truth section- this isn't even exclusive to One Piece, it's anime fandom as a whole and really just a lot of people in general. People have built up this idea that choosing the one over the many and choosing to save a friend at the risk of hundreds to millions is somehow far more noble an heroic because it's "relatable" or whatever, while consistently demonizing characters who make pragmatic and utilitarian choices. Doesn't help that a lot of anime/manga in general also prop this up.
It's not an idea that has been built up. Many humans just have a certain degree of natural selfishness. This selfishness leads to finding the more selfish approach more relatable. But nobody wants to see themselves as more selfish so they are searching for reasons why it's more noble to save one friend at the cost of many. So it's just a coping mechanism.
@@ericwitney5086, Dragon’s goals are more similar to Miles Morales’s goals whereas Luffy, Garp, and White Beard tends to have goals more aligns with Spider-Man 2099’s goals hence why the One Piece fandom such as myself tends to side with characters like Luffy, White Beard, and Garp more.
Im def subscribing and checking out your other vids, this seems to be the only channel that actually engages with the deeper meanings/motives and politics of these characters and the series in general, which leads to much better analysis of the story than just "Dragon is a fraud" or "Skypiea is boring/unimportant you can skip it", or the generally meaningless power scaling that usually take up a lot of conversations. I get that its a shonen but I really think people are insulting Oda as a writer by assuming he cant write a complex/deep series WHILE ALSO keeping it light hearted and joyful (thanks to Luffy as the MC). If anything One Pieces art style and general tone make the tragic stories hit WAY harder (I wanna hug Kuma and Ginny so bad man).
Nah Morj is spitting here 💯. I think we forget we follow protagonist of a pirate led manga where the supposed good guys are the villains. I will say Ginny being a commander made her more of a V.I.P to be rescued but I also understand that it may have been an impossible task. One thing I haven't seen brought up yet is that Dragon not going to save Ginny actually lines up , because dude didn't even go save Ivankov from Impel down. I'm positive Dragon could've solo'd the entire staff but yet he still kept marching..
It's because we easily empathise with the individual, but the collective is overwhelming. I guess there's only one man capable of shouldering such empathy and it's apparently the worst criminal in history.
I'm not surprised people misunderstand Dragon as the same people misunderstand Batman all the time even though he is always proven right. At the end of One Piece,Oda will show that Dragon was 100% to take the approach he did.
13:08 loving this video, respect on dragon's name. However, i think in that scene luffy was ready to throw down with that celestial if not for hachi stopping him. While yes luffy isnt the hero type and isnt one to look for saving people, when he sees the oppression of freedom luffy cant help but fight.
Really enjoyed this weeks video always loved when Morj's content hits 15 - 20+ minutes really lets the content breath and get into his flow with the analysis a really refreshing break from the shorter less fleshed out breakdowns he been doing recently. Great one Worj!
Unbelievably underrated video. Can not believe people cant see what the goal is or just the basic ideas of strategically warfare. Taking out the food supplies is the goal but saving kuma is a second priority to sit there and say the entire revolution army should have raided the most well gaurded place in one piece for one fiend is actually crazy
Friggin thankyou!!! These people dunking on Dragon are getting ahead of themselves and falling for memes. Dragons main character trait is that he is selfless. Hes recreated himself into a revolutionary general, so he has to be tough and ruthless. He is thinking of innocnent people but isnt gonna be nice to achieve his goals. The man sacrifed his prev life to revolt against the WG for the sake of people he doesnt know. Luffy will help his friends but doesn't really care about people hes never met.
Really solid take by Morj as always. At this point I think it’ll take quite the explicit show of character in the story itself for readers to realize Oda’s true aim with Dragon, his motives, and his philosophy, which is why my hopes are up for a major Dragon moment (could be both in the concurrent plot or in the ongoing flashback) that cements his place in the final saga (or sets it up more directly). Great vid!
5:55 everyone knows about the Nika pose in skypea but while hanging out with chestnut head in the bottom left there is a tiny panel with luffy in the same pose. You could argue that it isn't the same but there was no other reason for it to be a silhouette
Again, morj coming in with the best takes. Luffy isn’t the freedom fighter/terrorist everyone wants to paint him as. He doesn’t want to be a hero, he wants to be free.
You were mentioned once by a Spanish OP creator called "The Royal Shichibukai", he said that you were his favorite One piece creator... I think he's right when he said once that you were a great reviewer. Great video bro!!👌Dragon really deserves more love and respect from us!!🐉👊✨
There have always been two types of leaders and commanders when dealing with armies the one's who lead upfront and those who lead from behind. The one's who lead upfront tend to be the most passionate and leads with heart like Whitebeard, Shanks, Luffy and Garp but those who lead from behind are the most militant and cerebral in approach to battle such as Dragon, and Wiper. Both types are important and needed it just depends on the cause of battle. Plus those who lead upfront tend to die faster than those who lead from behind.
I'm glad you made these videos, while I already understand all of these themes, I can't remember everything to randomly explain these ideas that take a few seconds to notice along with all of the information. I would not call these highly complex ideas, just things that take a bit more explanation. Basically people can have multiples motivations, in order to make real change real sacrifices are expected. Something like the hardest choices require the strongest wills. You have to be logical, not ruled by emotion. Between saving the world or all your loved ones, you should choose the world. That is what it means to work for the greater good. And that is a hard choice to make.
After the information we get in Chapter 1101; seems as if Dragon only kept the information about Luffy private, was so that the WG wouldn't be able to have any leverage over Dragon and his pursuits. Like Ace and Bonney, the children of rebels and pirates are used as leverage, or are made an example out of and are sought out for execution. The intermission in the flashback where they were having drinks on the ship makes me think they're all really close, it's just they know that they signed up for and are willing to make that sacrifice.
Dragon's a character who thinks about the bigger issue. He can't make these big sweeping wins like Luffy and co because his goal is to make the world better for everyone. Honestly, it's a goal that seems too overwhelming to be accomplished in his lifetime. But he's setting the foundations and doing as much as he can perhaps hoping the next generation will continue on this fight. I appreciate you making this video, though I did find myself inappropriately giggling at times. I don't know how strong Dragon is, but I've always seen him as weak. I don't mean this as an insult, just unlike other characters he's someone who can't make a move without planning it out. He has to go through all the pros and cons, the risks and rewards, before truly making a move. Perhaps the only time shown in the manga he did something on impulse was saving Luffy at Loguetown. (I can only assume he recognized Luffy's name, I refuse to believe he saw him and realized he was his son instantly!)
Of course he has to think before moving that doesn't make him weak. In 800 years there were no characters that challenged the world government like Dragon did. Even Joy Boy failed against the world gouvernement. So anyone Who want to bring down the world government has to think twice before acting.
Only idiots just jump at any sight of inconvenience or danger. You’re taught to think b4 you speak, think b4 you act cause actions speak louder than words. So yea he’s not a meat head who just bum rushes that’s no way hinting he’s weak. Also there’s a theory he has the weather fruit or wind fruit and he’s awakened it years ago and has been watching Luffy all along through his journey. The scene when Ivonkov was asking him why is he’s always facing that way? He was probably watching Luffy using his wind 🌬️ abilities. It’s Oda so definitely possible which means he would known what his son looks like.
Same was problem with people making Grisha Yeager from AOT a bad guy for training zeke as hard as he did because he wants nothing happen to anyone whats happens to his sister
The difference is what Grisha did to Zeke was actually horrible. Physically and mentally abusing your own (or any) child and sentencing it to die befor the age of 30 cant be justified by the greater good which btw. Grisha didnt even have in mind. He just wanted revange on Marley for killing his sister and was willing to torture and sacrifice his son for that. In fact that was the only reason Zeke was even conceived. Grisha was an absolute pos and he did realise that himself later on. Thats what he had to say to Zeke as an adult: "I'm sorry... I was a terrible father. The things I put you through were so cruel. Zeke... I love you. If only I had spent more time with you..."
@@monkeyboy275bobo8 well it was for greater good He was horrible to zeke yes no doubt but to save all of his people someone had to make sacrifice Like dragon did by ignoring luffy to fight world government. luffy could have died in jungle mountains or anywhere (cause he is idiot 🤣) And dragon would be responsible but he have to go for bigger fight
@@Ozal420 If you consider Grishas plot to fk up Marley and establish an Eldian Empire the greater good the same applies to Marley from their perspective. If they dont oppress the Eldians and use childsoldiers as titanshifter other countries will invade them so they simply have to do that in order to protect their people. Its for their greater good, right? Obviously all of this is super bad. They all just try to kill each other. Except for Zeke, he tries to kill his people instead which is just as bad. The only one who is actually trying to stop the violence is Armin. Also, abandoning your son and turning him into a child soldier is not the same. Dragon just wasnt there for Luffy while Grisha actively used Zeke as a tool for revange and pretty much sentenced him to death by becoming a titan.
Yes thank you! I’m so tired seeing people call Dragon “a fraud” just because he didn’t save Ginny. They forget that Dragon isn’t running a gang of pirates. He’s leading a whole army whose goal is to take down the world government. Why would he risk his whole army and plan to save one person? Like that’s just stupid.
Dragon even made the sacrifice of abandoning his son in order to protect him while protecting the world. As we saw in the recent chapters that he did care a lot about Luffy but had to keep his distance amd secretly watch him in order to protect him. His charecter really needs more appreciation.
A tangent, but the Luffy characterization discussed here is really fascinating to think about, since it really puts into contrast the change that Nika has on him when in Gear 5.
Just high off an edible while being reminded that Morj is the greatest at this. This was incredibly well thought out and conveyed. Loved everything about this one man.
Yeah, this is definitely one of your best videos. Gotta admit I was on the Dragon being a fraud train put this put his true character into perspective.
11.55 - Thank you for this statement!! I worry about this fandom at times, esp the ones that bleat fraud. You cannot act like Luffy, Shanks and Whitebeard are automatically morally superior to Dragon for trying to save their friends, but ignore what he is actually doing for the World. One of the most interesting aspects is the stark contrast to Luffy and Dragon, and this has been obvious ever since Post Enies Lobby when Dragon and that told one of his surbordinates not to celebrate victories, as it is a war
Even though I agree with everything you said, I would argue one thing against that Luffy is not a Hero from his core is that Luffy is still young and seeing the world just like Dragon did before he decided to form the Revolution. There is ONE STRONG theme Oda is going through and that is to make Luffy realize HE NEEDS TO BE A HERO. See even though Pre-time skip Luffy was even more selfish in his goals than post-time skip, Luffy started using 'Hero' wording post-time skip. Why would Oda suddenly use Luffy's mouth to say that even though Luffy was literally the same or more selfish pre-time skip. I believe its that when Luffy finally learns the true history and realizes who is the enemy of his friends (which is at this point almost the whole world) he has to take the responsibility of being a Hero. He can't be the freeest man in the world until his friends (world) are happy and fed. In my opinion, that's the story of One Piece is, a boy's journey to learn the suffering of the world and learn to take responsibility and become a hero. Frankly that's what Whitebeard last words meant
If you see in hindsight without blaming the Hero tag on some, Luffy has done the same even way more aggressively and fast than Dragon, who is trying to do this for decades and that is to gain support around the world. Luffy already had the support of BIG nations like Alabasta & Dressrosa & fishmen, with so many other islands. Luffy already has support at Reverie which I am not sure even RA have. So when Luffy finally learns about the world and its evils, and declare war, he will have armies and support around the world probably even more stronger and larger than RA
I never really looked at it this way, but you're absolutely right. I hate how people have been calling Dragon a fraud, when he's been doing the most to fight the WG.
One of your best character analysis. I also think that dragon will be the one who will push luffy beyond his “lifestyle” limits, turning him from pirate to real hero of the story, making him realizing the real evil the he must face to bring the dawn of the world. And it’s interesting because he is luffy’s father. The one and only lesson luffy will receive from his father will be decisive for the entire story
I may be spitting out of my ass here but in short. Dragon would save the world over a friend and our usual cast would save a friend over saving the world. This isn’t exclusive to a few characters either but in many shows and media there is a prioritization for the individual over the whole. Which is all fine and dandy but in the other hand…what about everyone else.
There may be an argument that taking the world’s fate into your hands is evil, regardless of your intentions; protecting your friends is always right, even if you end up saving the world.
I needed this video so fucking bad! Yes! All the yes! Literally no one has understood dragon and I am so glad you made this video. The slander needs to stop!
One point I always think about is how much Luffy fucked the world at large by infiltrating Impel Down. Yes it was romantic that he would literally go through hell to save his brother, but the resulting escaped prisoners certainly caused untold suffering to civilians across the world thereafter.
@@Spartt204, the Marines wouldn’t have been able to kill White Beard and Ace if Black Beard and Luffy didn’t exist meaning that if those people didn’t exist then the next Pirate King would’ve been White Beard instead.
Excellent video and analysis. I would also add that Shanks is even worse than we think in this regard because not only does he turn a blind eye to it, but he is also on friendly enough terms with the Gorosei to have secret back door meetings with them.
I think shanks is like dragon in many ways, but he has a different mission and motivation that is still unknown. Both of them are waiting until the right moment to take action. Shanks decided to not participate in the one piece treasure hunt because he bet on luffy, preserving the balance in the world. We have to wait until these characters are really flash out to really understand these extraordinary men

I don't care about Dragon until he does something that makes me care.

Luffy was stopped by hachi from attacking the celestial dragon he listened to hachi because he promised to. When hachis life was threatened, he said f the promise
Well Dragon did take action in Louge town and saved Luffy from Smoker.

@@chaostriforce2583 welcome to the one piece fandom
Yeah it was clearly a "since we're already here..." kind of thing. If they stumbled upon Ginny the save way of course they would also try to save her.
Yep Sabo's main goal is destroying CD's food supply
Also, if not for Fujitora, their escape would have been nigh impossible tbh.
Exactly that’s why ion even bother debating it’s pretty straight forward. This is war sacrifices will have to be made for the greater good, if dragon pursued and rescued Ginny they would’ve lost everything they’ve built plus they got ambushed 😅
The revolutionaries were pretty much lacking military power at the time and were broke asf even vegapunk didn’t wanna give them aid so who else but dragon and kuma is fucking with imu, admirals, gorosei, god knights, cp0 😂
This is what they signed up for the only time dragon has bothered to save anyone was Luffy and when the ivankov heard ace was luffys brother thinking he was dragons son aswell. He thought dragon would’ve forsure showed up at marineford and took the marines on alongside the whitebeard pirates.
This is Kuma’s flashback not dragon’s so oda is going to hold off on showcasing everything about dragon and his entire history and the things that lead him to this point 😮
omg, you are right!
Essentially compared to the romantic and ideal way of pursuing their goals and doing what they want like Luffy and Garp. Dragon is talking the path less walked and arguably the more realistic means to schieve his motives.
not just more realistic but more moral too
This is one piece lol luffy straight up go to wg when robin get kidnapped and fisher tiger alone climb and free the slaves dragon doing nothing for 2 years after ginny kidnapped is fraudulent behavior.
People are shocked that Dragon wouldnt save Ginny, but we met Ivankov in prison despite beijg number 2 in the revolutionaries
And more importantly, all of the revolutionary members understand and have extreme respect and loyalty to Dragon. These are high character people with strong wills. There is no way Kuma or ivankov fight under a weak leader.
Dragon is direct threat to imu.
Yeah he didn't save his child mother
Does not mean he is in any way a lesser D. then his Family, IMO he is an even greater D., because he is sacrificing his own personal freedom of choice for the future freedom of the whole world.

how has no one ever made the connection between dragon and wyper? morj youre absolutely insane and i love it
Looking at his design now it's kind of interesting.
@@spacecoyote6101 We agree. There's also the fact that we don't know how many people are under Dragon's command.
Wow. That makes a lot of sense. Kudos

More like trying to cover plot holes and writing flaws…Dragon’s reason should have been covered in chap 1098…
@jiyanmehta7250 Plot holes? Also, I don't think addressing Dragon's reason should be needed. It seems to me that your line of thinking might stem from the fact that the story is serialized. I doubt this would be seen as an issue if we were reading One Piece as a whole. What do you think?
Luffy isn't figure of righteousness, he's a figure of freedom. Footloose and fancy free
Using the phrase "innocent people" is misleading because it implies that the material conditions in a post-revolutionary world will only change for those who are deemed "innocent." Ultimately, a revolution (especially of the scale of the one that Dragon is leading) is set up to dismantle all oppressive facets of the dominating regime for everyone.
ie. Evil women are still "freed" the same way "good" women are from the oppression of the patriarchy
Anyways, all this to say that it's disingenous tow atch Morj's video and then come to the conclusion that Dragon onl;y wants to desteroy Imu and retain the structure of World Governance that has been established by the World Government (because that is simply not true; in fact, we see Dragon's son (Luffy) fight against all the overt forms of oppression that are perpetuated by the World Government in order to contrast Dragon's goal of fighting the structural and systemic oppression that is perpetrated by the goverment).
"ultra capitalist" nothing about the CD and WG are captialist.
Highly underrated comment.
Imagine having the closing panel for 1100 be a big storm approaching the Red Line and we get a panel of Dragon and Oda finally reveals his fruit and bounty. Huge HYPE
All my stock is on it
Considering he was introduced as the World's Most Wanted man, while Whitebeard was alive with his bounty active, I estimate his bounty to amount to 5.4billion.
Still lower than Pirate King Roger(5.5) and End of Story Luffy( 5.6)[Go =5 Lu=Ru=6]
Mythological zoan : Typhoon
0,01% chance
Given how slow the progress of Kuma's flashback is. The likely end of 1100 is Kuma appearing to fight Saturn the Spider

Seems you haven't watched the video
Dragon's RA isn't like a 'pirate crew' which is basically like a family in one piece world that they would go to lengths to free one of their commanders/friends
The point of joining RA is to dedicate your life for liberation of others/greater good
Plus
They're in much worse situations toppling kingdoms and aiming for complete world government overthrow makes them other kingdom's and world government's #1 priority to finish off
That's why their would be many sacrifices in the RA too as they're fighting too big of an organization and trying to protect too many people
And regarding why Dragon isn't risking his own life to save ginny and kuma ?
It's basically dumb question cause
why only risk life to save ginny and kuma ? Why doesn't Dragon risk his life to save all the slaves in MJ too? Isn't that the main goal of RA?
Although on paper it looks very convincing question fighting world government directly is a suicide they would end up destroying RA which is exactly what WG want (too lure them in)

Luffy got annihilated in sabaody for standing against Celestial dragons
Whitebeard's actions had insane consequences as not only did he died, he also lossed countless sons just to save a single son
Not to mention all the islands that he protected
They lossed their only protector for no reason at all
Whitebeard's one decision to save a single person caused so much damage to innocent people yet we call him a Hero
This just goes to show how easy humans can be manipulated and brainwashed to believe anything
This is literally what World government is doing for 800 years
I can't let go of the idea that Dragon used to be like Garp and Luffy but he experienced something so horrible that it forced him to the type of guy he is now . If we flash back to a young luffy-like guy , it'll be heartbreaking to see the moment he's forced onto another path.
It probably had something to do with Luffy’s mom. Maybe she was taken by a Celestial Dragon as a bride. That’s probably why Garp hates them too.
@hrv5385 yeah that's too dark. Even for one piece.
@hrv5385that's literally what just happened to ginny, she was a sex slave which is how Bonney was born
@hrv5385 well you know oda has a tendency of putting fucked up stuff in one piece but he doesn't show it or outright state it cause it's a Shonen manga but I could definitely see him doing that especially since the further we keep going in one piece, the more messed up the backstories seem to be getting. I think akainu and dragon are gonna have some really horrible backstories
It takes some courage to admit our mistake. Bravo to you
Lawyorj is in, man. It's crazy
I’m proud of you. You aren’t afraid to admit when you’re wrong. Not a lot of people can do that ☺️
Much needed video.
People forget Dragon isn’t going up against another Yonko or crew-We’re talking about the World Government and not just the Marines, would be like asking a mob organization to take down local police, the FBI, US Marshals, CIA, The Secret Service, and practically the Military and National Guard instead of asking them to be the strongest crime org and to take on other rival orgs

i think its kinda funny when people compare him directly with the characters you mentioned in your intro.
Whitebeard rushed into a war he knew he couldnt win, putting his whole crew in danger, that event ended with his biggest enemy ending up with his own devil fruit.
for the past 2 years his whole crew has been prosecuted and hunted down by the likes of the world government and blackbeard, the minks, the wano samurais, the fishmen, they had a pretty shitty life because of his death for the past 2 years.
garp rushed into yonko territory almost getting a bunch of marines who are i guess around vice admiral level and above in danger and almost started a war with a yonko that could have led to a massive loss in marine firepower
people want to see badass people breaking shit up. dragon isnt looking for a fight in one piece, he is waging war against the most powerful and ruthless people on the one piece universe, he cant quite afford to do dumb shit
It's what oda has framed the greats as so I get it
@@wisdommanari6701 being a great character, role model or captain isn't the same that being a great leader.
@@JP-zb3yb, the power vacuum in the New World wasn’t caused because of White Beard being a reckless leader, but because of right now the Marines are the worst faction to being joining hence why I’d rather be a Revolutionary like Sabo, a pirate like Luffy, or a Bounty Hunter like Buggy the Clown, but I wouldn’t want to be a Marine like Sengoku or a Revolutionary like Dragon.
@@RoronoaZoro-ur6hr i should choose my words more carefully. i didnt mean to say he was reckless, but that the power vaccum he left behind being taken by blackbeard was an example of unforseen chaotic negative outcomes that came about from not having full control over the situation. thats the kind of situation whitebeard was trying to avoid with going head on with kaido.
This video opened my eyes to the depth of Dragon's character and his significance in the world of One Piece. The analysis of his contrasting traits compared to other leaders like Whitebeard and Shanks was particularly intriguing. It's fascinating to see how Oda portrays Dragon as a morally righteous figure with a strategic mindset, setting him apart from the typical hero archetype. This breakdown enhanced my understanding of Dragon's role within the story and left me eagerly anticipating his future developments. A well-crafted exploration of one of One Piece's most enigmatic characters!
Valid point, Dragon is the only one looking out for everyone. Now the question is, what kinda food is it gonna take for Luffy to finally go wreck Mariejois.
Luffy's action has been represented by his Grand Fleet members in Marie Geoise, where Sai and Leo thrashed St. Charlos
Great video, I feel like it's simple but you said it well.
So it's just a coping mechanism.
an example of the opposite is the first spiderverse movie

I feel like people doubting Dragon have been reading a different story than I have
We've seen Dragon take action through 1100 chapters. He dramatically changed history through his actions the very first time he appeared.
It's because we easily empathise with the individual, but the collective is overwhelming. I guess there's only one man capable of shouldering such empathy and it's apparently the worst criminal in history.
This is a masterfully crafted video, man. Morj is truly one of the greatest analysts on youtube, anime or not.
I'm not surprised people misunderstand Dragon as the same people misunderstand Batman all the time even though he is always proven right. At the end of One Piece,Oda will show that Dragon was 100% to take the approach he did.

Dragon: “Ginny got caught? Damn bro that sucks, anyway have you seen today’s newspaper?”
Great vid!
People just aren’t smart enough to have depth in their thinking.
If Luffy is going that path then the end up like his father.

Dragon the only man who can't be side tracked or distracted, an iron will.
I mean we celebrate luffy for dressora but for dragon this is what he does all year around.
Plus those who lead upfront tend to die faster than those who lead from behind.
thank you😭 because dragon genuinely is misunderstood by majority of the community
This is the most respectable morj opinion. Dragon is truly the only real hero
dragon is joyboy without the devil fruit
He’s against the world government that defeated joy boy and his comrades. Pretty dumb to think he’s weak.
Given that Luffy has said multiple times that he likes heroes I want to see him realize that his father, at the end, was exactly that. A hero.
I always referred to this “rebel hero” character as “oh, it’s him” the guy who encounters luffy and realizes he’s not the guy

Like dragon did by ignoring luffy to fight world government. luffy could have died in jungle mountains or anywhere (cause he is idiot 🤣)
And dragon would be responsible but he have to go for bigger fight
I'm glad you made this, the dragon slander's starting to get out of hand.
Dragon even made the sacrifice of abandoning his son in order to protect him while protecting the world. As we saw in the recent chapters that he did care a lot about Luffy but had to keep his distance amd secretly watch him in order to protect him. His charecter really needs more appreciation.
Just like how Luffy had to leave Merry behind since the end goal was the OP, Dragon had to leave Ginny behind since the end goal is far more important
Nice analogy but ship compared to a person is wild even if the ship could talk. 😂😂😂
@@HunchoHamza it’s so dumb yet it makes sense😂only in One Piece😂
@@sohailsadaqat6684 Luffy has the power of talk no jutsu. He can attract people around him.
The Wyper comparison blew my mind, one of my all time favorite characters
Everytime I think the analysis couldn't be better, @morj you prove me wrong.
I never really looked at it this way, but you're absolutely right. I hate how people have been calling Dragon a fraud, when he's been doing the most to fight the WG.
Morj thank you fam I’m in tears
Plain, cold facts and analysis here 🔥
One of your best character analysis.
Fantastic video! And I want to mention one other character who can at least pretend to be called a true hero : Mr.Admiral Fujitora!
Great video!!! Finally someone spoke up about this great injustice from the fanbase. Keep up the good work!!
Great video as allways
In Morj we trust
8:57 yeah Dragon is definitely on the level of Erwin from AOT and the mission to keep fighting for the sake of the innocent.
Bro, one piece fans are giving me brain damage. Theres people that hate the kuma flashback becaude they want to see more powerscaling 😂
Nice video, you broke this one down.💯
I needed this video so fucking bad! Yes! All the yes! Literally no one has understood dragon and I am so glad you made this video. The slander needs to stop!
100% Factual put some respect on Dragons name!
One point I always think about is how much Luffy fucked the world at large by infiltrating Impel Down. Yes it was romantic that he would literally go through hell to save his brother, but the resulting escaped prisoners certainly caused untold suffering to civilians across the world thereafter.
Exactly it caused more harm than good and now Blackbeard got his jump start to his pirating career
@@Spartt204, the Marines wouldn’t have been able to kill White Beard and Ace if Black Beard and Luffy didn’t exist meaning that if those people didn’t exist then the next Pirate King would’ve been White Beard instead.
Im still expecting a back story of dragon that could literally turn him from a luffy to his counterpart
We have to wait until these characters are really flash out to really understand these extraordinary men
Literally the reason dragon is my favorite character despite his screen time , great video my man !
Morj cooking up a feast for Thanksgiving!!
