I don’t begrudge them for sentimentally holding unto the claim of Lagos is “our” own as any other indigenous population in Nigeria will express same sentiments. What I advocate for is for the political decentralization of power and economics from the center and allow every region manage their resources and determine their progress. Then we can all claim “our” own rightly.
political parties in nigeria are not based on ideology hence you find it easy to move around depending on which party can accommodate your interest best as at the time.
