Nice video! I have not heard about Manitowoc's siren system in awhile. I'm glad that there are still ACA Allertors there that are operating. You can really hear those RM-127s/P-15s and T-128s in the background! The Allertor by the school that was replaced just seemed to lose pitch significantly.
just curious as to where you got info about install dates for the allertors. My source was a retired manty cop who said '75, but that he was just going off memory. I can distinctly remember as a little kid hearing them echo in attack every Saturday morning at noon from where I grew up south of town. Scared the living crap out of me every time, use to go running to parents screaming that a tornado was coming.
One of the towns I visit has a p50 that’s mounted on a 13 ft. pole. Yep. 13 ft. It kinda makes sense because it’s mounted on a hill and there is a community below it.

Awesome!! Glad to see one of these puppies still alive and kicking.
Wow, this actually turned out to sound pretty sweet with the other sirens harmonizing.
Now.. THIS ALLERTOR FIRES❤🔥🎉
1:21 sounds terrifying
I was just in Manitowoc for a Preble football game on the way there, I found both ACA Allertors that you filmed and the ASC RM 127 siren!
you go to preble?
That ambiance sounds so awesome! Hopefully you can get this again on a not so windy day.

I was in Manty today, during this test!
It looks really hot there.... reminds me of the Rising Heat EAS scenario, even with the type of siren used 😍🔊🔥

I think so I may have to look up to see who they are playing against.

Nope
Hmm...Sounds like it
DaGhostlyGengarGamer It isn't, the chopper just doesn't reach full speed. It's 9/12
Yeah, i guess i did not notice because the chopper was not spinning at full speed
DaGhostlyGengarGamer It's fine, we all learn from somewhere! :)
TV uni des de des bien des
it kind of looks like it's from the simpsons. idk why. maybe it's the cartoon like yellow color.
This siren is getting weak
+MinecraftGuy 1.7.10 It's single phase, like Manitowoc's other Allertors.
+greatnorthernsirens Even for a single phase siren it's a little weak
This is within acceptable range of pitch. Possibly a slightly low voltage supply. It's plenty loud, no weakness.
