Does anyone else notice that she sings with a lot of "h" (if you know what I mean) when it comes to the high notes? But it is still a great performance! Love her dress btw

I think many of you are way too harsh! Yes, I too have heard it overall better performed, like for instance by Patricia Janeckova, but this is still absolutely amazing. Most of us never achieve even remotely anything similar in our lives in any professions, and yet some of you think this is "bad"?
Patricia Petibon sings this with more clarity.. hitting the high notes perfectly. Here I hear a lot of imperfections.... But this is still a very, very nice performance
Was it just me or she did not sound confident in singing this song? I could feel her uncomfortability in singing. Several notes were not "grounded" or belted confidently. And yes...it maybe created a "no-soul" interpretation.
I am a fan of this girl but this aria its a little bit big for her, she scream almost all the high notes. But la forza its amazing keep going please we need perfection!

She's a good singer (even though she used a mic amplify her voice) . But no doubt the best singer performing this aria probably Dessay or Maria.

She's got her technique down for the most part; the nice big, open Eb6 at the end is evident of that. She just needs to work on consistency. There's another video of a coach working with her on "La Forza", where he got her to sing with more space and a more open soft palate. It allowed her high notes to be fuller and less pinched. So I disagree that she doesn't know how to project, or sing with resonance, or use head voice (the vast majority of her strength lies in head voice already). Although I would agree she can support just a wee bit better. She just needs minor tweaking, not a technique overhaul.
@@badillusion_ I think you mean enunciation, which was fine considering the high tessitura of the aria. Her pronunciation is bit a off - a lot of her vowels aren't very French at all.

She IS pretty bad actually. I'm not even an expert but it just doesn't sound right. It's not enough to just reach high notes. Check out this aria performed by Patricia Janeckova or Mady Mesple and feel the difference. Nechaeva is good at "pop-opera" stuff like La Forza, she should stick to it.
