I don't think that they went to the Departed Realm, or were erased.
That would shift the balance of light vs darkness.
I think that they are still alive, yet "possess" people from time to time. What I'm saying is something about malice. It's like an evil part of humanity. Criminals, Crime-Lords and Bosses, Terrorists, you get the idea.
I agree I also think the disepeard into the departed realm

Notice that during the ritual to revive Garmadon, Harumi was chanting "klotho-venge, klotho-deserr, klotho-hiathe!" Those must be the only Warlord's names.
I think it’s the Oni masks vengeance deception hatred
They have come to the graveyard of wasted and by the writers forgotten characters, like: Ronin, Faith, the Overlord, Skales, Phytor, Misako, Emperor and Empress of Ninjago, Hutchins, Akita, the sky pirates and Master Yang.

Skales and the other sephertine other than Python are not forgotten, their story just ended they had their conclusion to their story and a great one of that.

I still don't understand why March Of The Oni wasn't made into an actual full season it was kind of like a movie.
On Netflix its a 4 episode series

I think that Omega is too weak for the Tornado of Creation.
I like to think they're biding their time before trying again. Either that or the Tornado of Creation turned them into something else but we haven’t found out what yet.
Mystake said she turned when she felt in love with Ninjago. What if other Oni did too and are living quietly around the realm?
There's also the question left by the leader of the Oni. Omega does mean end or last but it can also mean lowest ranked in a group. What if the warlord culture continued and those in charge decided to test Ninjago before committing all their forces? The Omega didn't seem to have control of the smoke or they would have used it in the battle at the monastery. The leaders of the Oni might have sent the lowest ranked warlord, the Omega, backed by a new kind of magic before they went all in.
I think they’re still hiding in another realm, getting ready for another attempt at taking the power they want from Ninjago. Possibly the deepest part of the Realm of Darkness. I know Garmadon was there too and didn’t see them. But they didn’t seem to think much of him. It’s possible they ignored him as he lacked the balance they needed. Especially if the Omega is the lowest ranked warlord they have. Garmadon had real trouble when he went up against them. Why bother with him if he isn’t useful and would just be a disruption?
It’s an interesting theory if nothing else.

There's something in Ninjago called "The Ethereal Divide", a universe-like plane that separates the Sixteen Realms.
In "A Cold Goodbye" (Episode 113), the ninja traveled through the Ethereal Divide on the Land Bounty to get to the Never-Realm.
In "The Temple on Haunted Hill" (Episode 48), the four ninja (Kai, Jay, Cole, and Zane) nearly fell into the Ethereal Divide while escaping the Temple of Airjitzu.

They are dead. The tornado of creation vaporized them.
Tornado Creation is strong but I don’t think it’s strong enough to destroy all the Oni
They were definitely destroyed in Ninjago
But my theory is if theirs some tornado or power/ spell that can transport Oni to another realm
They should deport the Oni to the departed Realm
Personally I made my own theory about this: the Oni were strong, there were many of them and they were all shape-shifters. I mean, some of them are dead because of the Tornado, some of them just ran away. And where are they? Hidden under another form, like Mistakè did so many times under our eyes. I don't think they turned good or something, but they're simply there, waiting. Maybe they are up to a revenge, they're plotting something very dark, surely both the Ninja and Garmadon are involved in this. I think some of them are simply living among humans. And, well, some others got their way home, I suppose, but it could be the minority: I don't think they liked being defeated, but there's also a long way to go and lot of time to think a better conquest plan.
I think the oni either went to the realm of madness or to another realm or they are still alive and in Ninjago or they just died because you know tornado of creation.
Where did they go when they left the first realm since they left really long ago
Maybe the tornado of creation powered up by water, energy, destruction, and creation. In addition to the original elements of fire, lightning, ice, and earth. Was more powerful than we thought and actually managed to create a new realm where the Oni were banished to. It could be completely vacant of other life, and without any conflict they might have been de powered like garmadon was at the end of s9.
I think the old lady that was the oni was the leader of the tribe cuz what happened to her after Garmadon got her when they was up in the tower
1) Mystake was killed off-screen by Garmadon.
2) The Omega is the actual leader.

No the Omega was revealed to be the leader. He and Mystake *the old tea lady in Ninjago* are the only named oni in the whole series. Oni can shapeshift according to Ninjago and take other forms hence why Mystake was able to live ao ling as like all Oni tbey have an extended life and also why she looked like an old lady. The Omega is the leader though and all oni live very long and can shape shift as well as from dark clouds. Apparently Mystake did die according to the Ninjagi fandom wiki as it states her current status to be Deceased and presumably the Omega too as he was acc really close to the Tornado Of Creation and Mystake is also the only known female oni in existence that we know of

Maybe they were sent to whatever version of Departed Realm Dragons and Oni go to. Maybe they were dispersed throughout Ninjago and are dormant, becoming one with the Overlord as the essence of all evil and darkness in Ninjago, as that is what the Oni represented in the First Realm. For now, unless they bring them up again, there isn't much to go of so let the theories fly. That's my say on the subject anyway.
I was about to ask why didn’t the sons of garmadon just get the realm crystal and bring garmadon that way but I remembered it is in one of the most secured places in ninjago. Nadakhan was able to take the realm Crystal because of his djinn abilities which is probably why they went for the masks instead and also if they did go to the departed realm where would they even look since we don’t know how large the realm is and how many others inside
The Realm Crystal can't connect a portal to the departed realm.

I think just the omega and a few oni was transported to the departed realm. Since the other oni were just created from darkness and knew nothing but how to survive
If they’re in the departed realm then they can always return because they were previously in the departed realm as garmadon said in season 9.
Not anymore. The Oni masks were needed to bring Garmadon back, since he’s part oni. But they’ve all been destroyed now save for the mask of vengeance

I think the oni have gone back to the first realm but they have been separated and there powers have been taken(from the tornado of creation) away so they don't cause harm to any one.

I think they are in the desparted realm with a cage of villians that the ninjas fought and the FSM foughten they apart in cages away together u know what i mean!

They were afraid of Golden Power, it hurted them, physically. When the Ninja and Garmadon formed this massive tornado, that wasn't just the Tornado of Creation (the four main elements would have been enough then), it was a tornado of Golden Power, acording to my calculations more than twice the Golden Power Lloyd had ever posessed. Plus water, cause Nya doesn't do much, because water is a secendary elements and so on but whatever.
So I think, confronting them with pure Golden Power, the Oni are just dead, leaving them in the Departed Realm.

@@ishaanparthab4549 But we don't know for sure. Maybe they are dead and because of that in the Departed Realm but maybe they are not. I personally believe that they have indeed passed away but that doesn't mean they can't find a way out of the Realm of the Dead. Many years in the future, when the ninja are all part of history ans only Lloyd, Zane and Pixal are still alive, there will be another Yin Yang Lunar Eclipse. The Yin Blade might be destroyed but if the Oni have just one ally in Ninjago dark magic could open a portal to the Departed Realm and release them. And don't forget, Oni are no real living beeings, they are demons, not bound to flesh. When they return they'll not have any disabilities a simple ghost would have.

@@JoshChelski0405 That would mean that also dragons can't die, as they are the Oni's counterpart, as well as the family of the First Spinjitzu Master. The FSM is dead, so is the Ultra Dragon,in the First Realm there's an entire culture built on dragon bones. If they can die, so can the Oni. Or what about the Oni Masks. We know they were meant to represent tje three great Oni leaders but where are they? We only see Omega.
Don't forget, the Oni are living beeings of flesh and blood, living beeings that can make a choice, like Mistaké, and also be good if they want to.
The Overlord on the other hand is a spirit born out of pure darkness not a living beeing in the classic manner, born to be evil, with no choice to do otherwise nor the slightes will to change. He can't die, because he's never been truly alive, he is a counterpart not to the the FSM as a living person but to his power and what he represents.
Also their powers are different. The Oni don't use powers that are evil in nature, Destruction is necessary in order to create something new, it's the way they use Destruction that's evil. But the Overlord's power is not just Destruction, it's Darkness.
I think the Oni are really dead, because although they were such a big threat, they were nothing against the Overlord, not strong and not evil enough to be kept alive by the balance.
When we speak about the Departed Realm:
The Overlord is there too, right? I mean, he's dead. Of course the balance of light and dark is still a thing, so as long as the balance is intact and the masters of the elemental essences are still alive there should also be some darkness out there. But that does not necessarily mean it's the Overlord. In Rebooted he died physically so it's possible he is in the Departed Realm right now.
But that leaves the question open:
What happened at the Day of the Departed? We know from Season 5 that there indeed is a statue of the Overlord Dragon in the museum. So what should the Overlord keep away from still beeing alive? Maybe he was awakened in another room, maybe he had a ghost blade too, what if he just killed a normal, poor person to take his/her place and what if he still alive, waiting all thoose years for the perfect moment to fight back? The Overlord has been defeated three times, the fourth time he would be more cautious, more intelligent, less arrogant. I think, with every time he get's defeated he just becomes more dangerous and obscure. And I don't know a reason why he can't be around the moment, living again since the Day of the Departed, living through the sacrifice of a person no one knew about.

I really want the Oni to return. There are still so many unanswered questions about them. We need an Oni and Dragon sequel Trilogy to cover all of them.
I think the Oni were pushed out into the void between the realms trapping them in a sorta limbo
Btw; the show has given that an official name, this "Void Between Realms" you are talking about- all the way back in Season 5; Possession when the Ninja went into the Haunted Airjitzu Temple. I remember when they tried to leave it early or accidentally found and opened an exit, they found the Temple was floating in mid air surrounded by this greenish void *It is not the cursed realm*. They nearly fell off and into it (who knows what would happen if they did) but managed to get back up by holding on and the wiki named this void "The Ethereal Divide". Check it out on the Ninjago Fandom wiki, there is a page under the same name

I also think the oni are still alive cuz remember the balance needs to be restored so they need the oni cuz we need shadow/darkness if we have creation/light and we need light or then there would be no shadow/darkness which means no balance
Honestly i think they died or disappeared.
Keep in mind that we just saw them staring up at the tornado and then it faded to White. When the ninja awoke, there weren't any bodies, or even residue of some sort. I think that the Oni simply fled.

@@d12tu25 maybe they met up with Pythor and the Overlord. Maybe a bunch of the Ninja's old enemies are going to team up against them.
@@Supasmartguy that's a thing I want to see in the series finale the Overlord leading a massive army of all the past villains the ninja faced throughout the years and the First Spinjitzu Master helps the ninja in spirit form and he has a second fight with the Overlord while Garmadon and Lloyd fight the Omega.
I think the Serpentine Morro Garmadon Unagami and the Ice Emperor/Zane won't join them since they all redeemed themselves.

This is probably a shot-in-the-dark theory, but I wonder if the Tornado of Creation was used to create a prison-realm of sorts that would seal the Oni away from ever returning to the 16 realms.
If you think about it, every tornado of creation has created a physical thing in the past, but in this case we saw nothing created, so something between dimensions and outside of physical perception could have been created to seal away to Oni for good 🤔

I kind of wish they would show anime or even make the anime from the last seasons into the new show cause it looks amazing, the only think I would change is make coles jawline sharper being the strongest and buffest, I did not like the idea you had of making the show into that fat head anime

I think all oni were killed when the ninjas used tornado of creation but their souls weren't sent to departed realm they were just completely killed.
