HI Bhupinder. Helpful video! While this definitely works it doesn't work for too long. Still have to clear cache every time to connect. Otherwise it keeps pushing the android app on the tab, regardless of whether desktop mode is checked. Since its my mom's tab, she isn't comfortable with clearing cookies ... Any way around this ?
I'm having the same issue. Latest version of Whatsapp installed on phone, Chrome updated on tablet. But still I have to clear the cache & link device from scratch each time.
Yeah still suffering the same issue. It's really surprising WhatsApp has no solutions for android tabs when they are implementing a multi device environment via linked devices. Why restrict to windows only. Specially since there is a specific iPad version separate from the iPhone version. Even if the Android version for phones would work on tabs it would still be acceptable. It's just strange on WA's part not to remedy the situation for years. Very disappointing. Much prefer discord....but sadly its harder to change apps like this.

Right so i can get it working but it keeps going back to the main screen if I close the browser after bookmarking it etc. I've got to go through the whole process again to be able to use WhatsApp web again. I need to clear the cache again and relink the devices even though it shows me the previous loggin with option to log out on my phone. @@bhupindertube right so you need to keep the actual tab open along with its window. I thought it was clever enough to switch back when you put it on desktop mode after bookmarking. Seems pointless it even remembering in your phone where it says you're still logged in! Ok will watch that video too many thanks 🙏
@@bhupindertube I've managed to get it working great by using Firefox instead of Google. I can close the window completely and have created a shortcut. So far so good. Ditching Google was key for me!
