I used to hate this mission, but after my second playthrough I loved this mission. It's unique because you literally have to use your eyes to find the blimps...also to not have any lights on in your room and sit close enough to the TV in order to easily find the blimps.
It's still closely extremely difficult to locate the blimps with your naked eyes. Because they blend so well with the terrain AND you're not able to determine the altitude of the blimps altogether. So no, it's not as easy as you make it out to be. The main trick to it is to fly low though. Then pitch up so the clear sky can reveal the blimps the closest to you.
Theres a MASSIVE amount of Symbolism behind Mission 13. Being the 13th mission, it ties into the Main Protagonist of the title. Yellow 13 wasnt a Warlord. Although to us he was the Face of evil, 13 didnt commit any atrocities. Amidst the Confusion of Politics and Stratagies, 13 fought for a Cause. Just in this mission, you have no Main objectives. Yes, you wish for Lepard to make it through Knome Ravine, BUT, you as the player forget. You Focus on pushing through the Chaos and do what you must. Just like 13.
Zap, this was my Favorite song in 2004. Thank you for Extending it. Life hit me really hard recently. Like, so hard, their come points where I feel like continuing is futile. But this one track always sets my head right. And for you to have extended it. I cant explain how many long nights ive stayed awake, listening to these extended mixes on repeat. I know it's not something you planned to do, but you've saved a Life Zap. So, Thank you. I'm moving to Washington state to Pursue Aviation as a Career now. I've got the School booked, the apartment rented. And I would be around to have done that without your extended mixes to get me through the long nights. Most people probably see you as a youtuber. Your a Part of my Life. Although you didnt do much, Thank you Zap. From the Bottom of my heart, that somehow still has a fight within it. That Deep Blue seams that much closer now.
I really appreciate you telling me that, i always believed in the healing power that music has, i've felt it and seen it happening many times so i know exactly what you mean, it's my one true passion in life and i always want to share the feeling it with someone else one way or another. I'm happy that you are pursuing a goal in life too, i've been there, struggling with a tough decision which ended up being the best thing i did in life, i hope that you can achieve yours too. Stay strong and confident, let me know how it goes too.
A stranded Knight behind enemy lines in a battle worn suit of armour using all his strength and will to tame a Dark Horse lost in the night, taking the reigns, guiding the horse through the mountain pass and traversing through the fog, hollowed woods and forests of the wilderness and back to civilization. With nothing but a sword, a torch and his horse.
fact: no one knows about it but there is a lonely destroyer in a river between two mountains to the right of the spawn somewhere. I used to have fun with that lonely destroyer and also gave me much points when I killed it if I remember correctly
Hey Zap thank you for another awsome extension, btw is there any chance to extend 'surrender me' in AC3D? really love that piece of OST. Anyway good job!
I was very confused on my first playthrough because I simply couldn't find any baloons. Only discovered that the blips on the map are the baloons at the end. 2nd try was much easier then
Depends, if it's an easy extension i just have to find the "loop point" of the track, then cut and loop until it reaches 30 minutes. But if it's hard track to extend (for example, AC3 music) i use fade in and fade out to create a artificial loop. All done using a program called Audacity.

Wrong, the blimps do appear on radar, those white blips flashing? Yeah, those are the blimps. Use them to find the blimps.

The Gaming Killer they help, but you still need to determine the altitude by visual confirmation

Your 300th Ace Combat OST extended video. Congratulations.
The trumpets gave off this feeling of impending doom for me...
Kind of fitting since the u2 just took photos of megalith
@@Giratina575 doesn’t help that a U2 is so fragile that a too steep turn can destroy it
ULTIMATE CHALLENGE: do this mission MISSILES ONLY with NO HUD on "gun sight or HUD mode" with an A-10A or similar aircraft
Wouldn't the A-10 arguably makes it much easier with its stability though?
@@ea5yliver Well, you got to compensate the HUD view with no-HUD and no-guns with something(???)
A10 is too slow imo.
ace combat fans will flocking here soon lol
It feels like it's missing something without the "20 miles and closing" and so on, but still one of my favorite AC4 tracks

I never knew that myself. Damn now I wish I had a copy still to verify that.
@@Stargazzer811 There's a Frigate there, I spent a minute just trying to down it
This was a pain.
I picture piloting a fat German kid in lederhosen picking up food in the air where the jammer blimps usually are.

(They reply "Roger,Sky Captain!" and fly east)
It still makes me laugh, because the music is so good but your just destroying balloons.

What exactly do you do to make the extensions?

I was mainly asking what you did to increase the sound's quality. Did you just boost the audio?
Well that's a whole different question.
I remastered all the soundtracks last year, so yeah they sound better in general.
Ah, I see.
Zaptroxix aaayyee loop point!
you redid this?
Yes
Worst mission in the game...One of the best tracks on the OST?
