You gotta think, why didn't Mobius drop the 1 from his name even though we always see him fly alone, as if in the past he lost his friends on his squadron.... I like to think it's a way of telling people that even though you see him flying solo into the vortex of war, he's never truly alone....
This song is so bittersweet. AC7 farbanti for some reason thought it was a liberation. So the tone is different. Which is sad, because AC4 clearly was trying to make this bittersweet. AC7 doesn't want you to think about what's going on.
I don't think there's a track that naturally syncs up better to the mood and the action better in the entire series. The radio chatter and music intro set the approach perfectly as you max throttle towards the airspace, then right as the drop hits at 0:34 you cut the burners and get to work. F*cking rush!
The "I'm about to f*** shit up in the name of justice" song. I was pulling off crazy maneuvers on this level. Intense focus and really feeling the vibes. "For the fallen comrades of the war!" 😎

It is sad to say that our leaders have failed to prevent another tragedy, this war should never have happened, instead we all should've done all and everything we can to better prepare, protect and defend ourselves from threats far greater than our own weapons, to prevent another catastrophic event to unfold, our leaders have failed us once again, have failed to resolve and put aside our petty differences and grievances of the past. How long will it take for them to realise that no conflict is more important than the very survival of humanity, the real exostential threat to humanity is already lingering above us, for heaven knows when hell will rain down down upon us again, like it did not long ago.
