There has been many bombastic incredible "final mission" tracks in these games from this all the way to Daredevil from AC7, but this one is still THE best one and it gives me chills every time in that intro.

Out of all the final mission songs in the AC series.... this is the one that makes me more emotional than the others, i still remenber that rainy night of September 2003, the child version of me seeing the ominious Megalith shooting Missiles at the atmosphere, raining a hell asteroids upon earth... damn. I Really wish to see a mission like this been remade with the modern graphics of today, i know we have something similar in the final mission on AC Infinity... but even for today standards, Megalith is still the most impressived final mission.
The most horrible part of it is that megalith WAS their savior. It delivered them from death by asteroid. It was loved and respected, and in its last moments, it was turned into a weapon. A mockery of its former glory. And you have to deliver it from itself.

not just this, think about Farbanti, Whiskey corridor, Emancipation, Breaking arrows (I think), Tango Line and Operation Bunkershot it would be good to ride a tank in Farbanti or ride a tank in whiskey corridor street fighting as infantry in Emancipation taking control of Istas Fortress in Tango line and it would be epic to be the landing infantry in Operation Bunkershot like Normandy II and also Breaking arrows briefing says "landing operations" so that would be cool too
Imagine if the game has swapping feature The Main character is the same Ace pilot Ground units will be unnamed due to variety of them When completing certain objective there will be an option to switch to someone else's point of view Yes < or > No Yes You switched to ground unit tank that wrecks the SAM site No You can still fight as the Ace without being forced to do ground battle like classic Ace Combat But in certain mission story the Ace plane get shot down and he must sneak around back to allied force while avoiding the angry oppositions who recognized the Ace who blew up their armada or something

I don't get why people REALLY like this. It does sound good but I think there are a lot of better soundtracks in the ace combat series. Even the missions that are pretty ordinary like those missions were you just have to destroy a bunch of stuff have soundtracks that sound better than this.

I don't get why people REALLY like this. It does sound good but I think there are a lot of better soundtracks in the ace combat series. Even the missions that are pretty ordinary like those missions were you just have to destroy a bunch of stuff have soundtracks that sound better than this.
Emancipation and Blockade, yeah... but I get why many like this: because it sounds like a church choir and that's reason good enough for them to like it, understandable I'd say.
