I have a certain sort of envy for Kylie seeing Nirvana purely through a historical lens. I was a dumb naive teen in the 1990s and the Internet wasn't the ever-present pocket reference that it is now. You needed to tie up the home telephone line to connect to the Internet, and what you got was super slow to load and really all that great. I'm not gonna lie... I didn't even know that Kurt Cobain had taken his own life until like four years after the fact. On the release of _Muddy Banks Of The Wishkah_ I was eagerly awaiting their next album.
Thumbs up on the Pretenders and Led Zeppelin. I'd have picked IV as well over Houses of the Holy, but No Quarter is one of my all-time favourite tracks.
To some their tastes might seem basic, but they are young, they will expand, it's promising, and for someone who think so highly of Oasis, Jordan made really good musics, didn't she?😆
Hey, The Beaches I suggest yous also check out Motown, and Gospel songs as for classic rock the British rock band The Dave Clark Five in 1964 and 1965 were up there with The Beatles !.As for Canadian pop rock Melanie Doane and The Northern Pikes !.
I know some people wanted some deep underground cuts but we all start with the big acts that kindle our love of music. That’s what I’m seeing here. I’m rather surprised the drummer is more into hip hop while the others stay in the rock genre.
say the person with Jordan Peterson centered on their channel. Literally, as basic as it gets. Their taste is not basic. They are in a constrained enviornment -- working from what the shop has on vinyl for sale. And they surface with such gems: The Strokes first album, for example. And the least basic track on it as their fav: New York City Cops. I'm sure you're a good person and like your life. Keep doing your thing.
Seen the Beaches live July 13 2022. They are Amazing !
Hot Fuss is a "nostalgic treasure"? Man, that makes me feel old.
yeah you're telling me..I was jamming hot fuss in college....in 2003 LOL
I immediately likes these ladies. But I feel in love when The Replacements and Pretenders were chose.❤❤
You made this oldie proud😊
Man, such a chhiiiiillllll group. Amazing. Love them.
Just discovering this band. The fact that Kylie is a big fan of The 'Mats makes me like them even more.
I love that song Money from the Beaches it has a 60's 70's style sound. Keep making great music!
Some nicely eclectic selections! I felt the urge to listen to "Alex Chilton" after this...
Leandra is so pretty😍

Another strange event!

For 42$ great deal!

Nothing from a girl group, i.e., The Go-Go’s, The Bangles, The Donna’s, etc.? I’ll assume they already have them …
Wow I thought vinyl was expensive in the U.K. but some of those albums are way overpriced! Have to check out the Beaches 😬👍
