I have been so focused on my own grief, depression, and anxiety after losing a loved one recently. I have been working so hard to heal myself. It turns out that in order to heal myself I must help heal others! I am going to start ministering with the intensity of a German Shepherd chasing a ball!
The perfect tutorial on how to cure our own struggles, suffering and sadness. It appears that he understands that we can only know of God's love for us as we experience loving His children through our own actions. I feel this is the inherent process of sanctification. It is found in the doing, not in the hearing or saying.

I grow up reading the Bible waiting for my Lord to send his Messengers, I still can't believe my childhood deepest prayer has been answer and I was chose to live in the time where the God of Abraham, Jacob and Isaac is speaking to a Prophet again.
Over 20 years ago served in 3 different High Councils hearing The General Authorities come to many Stake Conferences. President Ucdorff came and showed us another way to manage our Sheep. I knew then he would be an apostle of Our Savior. He came to teach Shepherding one on one, not like a business model , but as our Shepherd Jesus Christ did it; Ministering One by One...
I really gravitated towards the lines about being less critical, more kind, and more refined. This is something that has been on my heart to do and practice more, but fall short. This gives me encouragement to try again and to see those who give me a hard time as real and literal children of God made in His image.
I adore his speeches the most and miss him in the Presidency. I stated that last week but cannot find it. Does anybody know what happens to comments...Am I being paranoid or has my innocent comment really been deleted?
He did actually say once that church sleep was one of the healthiest sleeps so conference talks or general conference sleep must be the best sleep of them all :)
Someday when I get married in the temple and have kids, I am going to name my son after him. His talks literally save me. 😊😇
