  • Caitlin Clark created for 60 of Iowa's 103 points, but she broke the Minnesota Gopher's defense with her scoring, passing, and off-ball movement. This video details Clark's incredible game on February 28, 2024 against Minnesota, where she was able to create countless open shots for her and her teammates.

*CORRECTION* She created 60 of Iowa's 108 points... So that's actually 55% of her team's offense. Still an impressive feat nonetheless!

Thank you for highlighting Clark's passing and court awareness. Too many commenters just focus on her scoring and claim she is a ball-hog or a one-woman show. This really highlights her ability to find the open player and distribute the ball

After having watched your recent video on the Fever's offensive struggles, I see what's missing in this video is a full appreciation of those screens and cuts Clark's teammates are doing that unlock Clark's game and Iowa's offense. Thanks for the great analysis!

The female version of Larry Bird. She is awesome. The best female player I have ever seen and she will just get better. A joy to watch her!

It certainly looks like her IOWA teammates were better than the team to which she's transferred. They made most of the lay-ups and supporting transitional hoops.

If you will watch Caitlin Clark shot she is ruining it it used to have Arch but the farther she has shot from the outside the flatter her shot has got the further she has tried to shoot the ball from the outside the flatter her shot has gotten and that causes a shot to have to be exactly perfect there cannot be one half inch room for error when a shot has very little Arch the more Arch it has the more chance it has of going in but you can't shoot from that far out and put that much Arch on the ball because she doesn't have enough power and that's not a knock against her she would improve her shot that is going on in the WNBA right now if she would start shooting from closer in and putting more Arch on her ball because she's missing a lot of shots that she used to hit that she is open on a flat shot will hit the back of the rim or the front of the rim if it does not go in look at where her shots are hitting the back of the rim and the front of the rim she needs more Arch on her shot and I can't believe her coaches especially a shooting coach which I don't know if the WNBA even has a shooting coach if you don't know the truth watching how these women shoot the basketball but somebody should be telling her if you can't Arch the ball from that range then don't shoot the shot until you get on a white machine and build your shoulders up some build your legs up some that's why it is very hard for her to ever shoot a fade away takes more strength especially from far out she used to have sometimes a mid-range jumper I don't see that anymore because you have to put more Arch on your shot to get it up over the big fat girls inside they aren't jumping so if you're jumping you ought to be able to put the ball over their heads and into the goal at mid-range to be honest with you the three-point shot has ruined more people shots and it has ruined the game of basketball if Michael Jordan was playing pro bowl today he would score 50 every game just going right up the lane because when the offense spreads out for 3-point shots that leaves the middle wide open Michael Jordan was going through the middle when there would be five guys there imagine what he could do with one or two the back to Caitlin she needs to put more Arch on her ball that's why she's missing so many shots in the WNBA they are on the money they are not like these other girls shots that Miss they are not to the left and they are not to the right they are on the money except the shot is too flat when she misses and it's too flat when she hits it's just 100% perfect when she hits but you can be 75% perfect on a shot if you got Arch on your ball if you're not listening to the left and you're not missing to the right there's a lot of room for a little bit actually it's not even off if it drops down through the hoop but she would hit a lot more shots with more Arch on her shots is what I'm saying and it's the truth there's many of us that played college ball before there's many of us that hot little kids how to play ball and how to shoot a shot correctly from the get-go and she has gotten where she has gotten from practice practice practice practice practice practice practice not from this great great ability that many in the league have and and have had she's a Lot Like Larry Bird I want to say she's like Steph Curry she's not that kind of athlete even for a woman Larry Bird had very little athletic ability and would still beat you and is still one of the top five players of all time but he had not the ability of a Michael Jordan or Kobe or Steph Curry or I could go on and on and on about the players that had more athletic ability than he did the difference was his practice his Relentless practice from the time he was a little bitty kid it never stopped all through his career until he messed up his back that's who he is closer like she shoots the ball better than he did as far as correctly he shot the ball behind his head but it's harder to block and he had more power to do that can a woman does in his upper body there's some players that get to be great even though they are not great athletes is she a good athlete she's a very good athlete but is she a great athlete no and if you can't see the difference between a great athlete and a real good athlete then you don't know anything about sports those that are real good athletes have to practice a hell of a lot more it doesn't matter Michael Jordan took 8 years I believe it may have been six before they made it to the championship game the cause one Michael Jordan no matter how great he was isn't enough you've got to have great players around you or at least real good players around you you've got to have players that know how to sit a pic correctly nowadays ya'll call it a scream more than anything else and on defense you got to have players that call out a pic somebody is fixing to set on you so you don't get knocked on your ass the reason they are playing better is not necessarily Clark it is because she is getting used to them and they are getting used to her but they still need better players that's just the truth everybody's getting excited they'll be lucky if they make the playoffs and people that don't know basketball are talking about the championship that is just idiocy you can't expect that team with that coach and that's another thing they need they need a man coach that will teach them and it would be better if they had a man coach that actually coached in the NBA but that's not going to happen they need a coach that teach them how to play like boys how to play like men instead of playing like women I see these women shoot the shot and their feet never go off the ground especially the big fat ones I see them where they are right next to the basket or even under the basket and shoot the ball up and it hits the bottom of the rim that's your stupidity why not pivot off of one foot and come up off the glass it's like women do not know how to shoot the ball off the glass and there are very few that know how to do a correct jump shot they shoot the ball as they're going up in the jump instead of waiting to the get to the peak of their jump to release the ball God forbid any of them stay in the air for a second and then release the ball because that's what you have to do on a Fall Away jump shot that's what you have to do on a turnaround jump shot how many of those do you see in the NBA commentators make it out to be this great big deal if they do reverse layup kids in junior high even little dribblers can do a reverse layup I get tired of listening to women commentators they never shut up I have to mute it if I'm going to watch a women's game which I don't do very often because it's boring the main reason is they don't know how to play defense they don't have any mid-range jumpers and their 3 ft from the basket and they don't know how to use the glass so they missed most of those shots and then they're all in a puddle on the floor all six to 10 of them after every missed shot unless which is what usually happens they have no offensive rebounding as soon as Caitlin shoots a shot they all start running to the other end instead of rebounding how many offensive rebounds does that team have that's what I would like to know or any team in the WNBA there's lots of defensive rebounds the cars are very little offensive rebounds it's like they're not smart enough to know that if you rebound the ball on your end you got a better chance of putting it right back up I think so many of women coaches just suck as well as women commentators that just will not shut up they're supposed to call the play not tell us their life story or somebody else's story or explain the game to us they're supposed to call the game like they do in men's basketball

If you've never seen it before then you've never watched the NBA I'm definitely never watched Michael Jordan you definitely never watched Kobe Bryant some of the things you'll say about the women's league y'all build them up too big they are doing what they are paid to do and y'all make every little layup seem like it was the greatest thing of all time when there are little dribblers that can make more consistent layups than a lot of the college mislay ups that are open the WNBA missed layups that are wide open and there's Junior High boys that know how to shoot a jump shot better than women in the WNBA and yes I know you're talking about college but I'm talking about above college so if you never seen it before you don't know much about basketball

What I took from this video is it's not just Clark. I saw alot open n three's n easy layups, so for those saying she doesn't have any help isn't watching the whole game. Iowa has a handful of three point shooters (Marshall, Martin, Davis, Affolter, Feuerbach, McCabe) n Stuelke can run the floor like Usain Bolt. When Iowa shooters are cooking on all cylinders they're damn near impossible to beat.

Clark: at 2:41 she begins to come at the camera and her focus is not to the hoop, but her eyes are looking down, at a point on the floor she's aiming at to stop and make her shot. She's so good that she knows that if she hits one of those spots, she doesn't need to look at the basket until she begins her shot!
