In high school, my friends and I were obsessed with the last verse for some reason, where MJG is just listing everyone's names, running through the lobby with his head down and punching the air. So one time in math class I was bored and wrote 8BALL AND MJG in big block letters on 3 separate pages of my notebook. My friend was sitting across the classroom, next to a girl who was presenting the solution to a calc problem from her desk. I caught my friend's eye, held up my notebook, and flipped page by page. It cracked him up and both the girl and the teacher thought he was laughing at her presentation, and no one saw me with the notebook because everyone was paying attention to her. It may be a boring story, but it's a fond memory I have from many years ago about an old friend who isn't around anymore.

In high school, my friends and I were obsessed with the last verse for some reason, where MJG is just listing everyone's names, running through the lobby with his head down and punching the air. So one time in math class I was bored and wrote 8BALL AND MJG in big block letters on 3 separate pages of my notebook. My friend was sitting across the classroom, next to a girl who was presenting the solution to a calc problem from her desk. I caught my friend's eye, held up my notebook, and flipped page by page. It cracked him up and both the girl and the teacher thought he was laughing at her presentation, and no one saw me with the notebook because everyone was paying attention to her.
It may be a boring story, but it's a fond memory I have from many years ago about an old friend who isn't around anymore.
