Virgin Trains 57308 hauling 390051 on the Pendolino Drag 18-06-11

Some footage of the once a week Pendolino drag between Crewe and Holyhead, which features 'Thunderbird' 57308 Tin Tin and Pendolino 390051 Virgin Ambassador. Starting at Crewe where the loco is seen being prepared for the run and the 390 is seen arriving from Euston, after which the 2 couple together. The next clip is of the train departing from Crewe and heading past the heritage centre, where Black Prince and Royal Scot were present.
The next clip after the heritage centre was taken just west of Tattenhall and shows the train running at around 75/80mph underneath a very stormy looking sky.
The final 2 clips were taken at Chester, with the train arriving in platform 3 and then departing about 3 mins later.

The Tampax Extractor Class 57 is a Loco, even though its engine is out of a Samsung Food Processor. Least the recycled Brush is gainfully employed dragging Galloping Tampons er Pendolinos should they expire or need moving elsewhere.

it leaves for Holyhead at 10.43 from Crewe platform 12 .
