I think this game says it all about the mood of the country even! There is no leadership in every sphere! What a pity. No one in the coaching team to motivate them? Terrible! Those are the simple reasons we always come short! Technical ability and the right mentality is lacking! There is absolutely no excuse because we have had and still loads of ex pro players who have seen it all in Europe but the difference is that majority are averagely educated so imparting what they now into someone else No wahala!

A penal kick trainer should be different from the coach . Penalty kick is psychological in nature . Predict and forecast the action of the opponent and play a guess work .
That's well known. It's not rocket science. However, humans are not machines. They won't be able to produce their best kick every time, even if they practice thousands of times, especially under pressure. And if you totally don't feel any pressure, you're not human.

I think they should change the rules because the penalty kicks only shows the skills of an individual player not the whole team , I think what they should do is play 2 extra rounds of 15 minutes each and if one team scores more than the other team they win but if it is still a tie after 2 rounds then keep playing and whoever scores that ends the game ( sudden death).
This won't work because scoring in soccer is not easy. Playing like that could cause players to cramp, and then even if one team wins, the next round, they would be severely disadvantaged. But both teams could have gotten so exhausted before either scores the sudden death goal.

I don't think they're not prepared. All of these players had practiced penalty kick thousands of times, but they're not machines and won't be able to produce their best kick every time, especially under great pressure.
