Premise: Megan Fox (Transformers franchise) tackles a thrilling new role as a battle-hardened mercenary in this explosive action saga. As team leader Samantha O'Hara, she leads a lively squad of soldiers on a daring mission: rescue hostages from their captors in remote Africa. Omg, yes!!! I love how it started with legit recommendations based on the themes of the movie (ie a creature feature & then a documentary about wildlife abuse) & then devolved into random themes but still legit recommendations- "white ladies that just won't die-----death becomes her" --- this duo cracks me up SO much!!!

LOL@ 'Death Becomes Her' - that was the icing on the cake for me. Am not surprised at Ms.Fox's acting skills (or lack thereof) and the fact that her makeup (from the photos shown) remained flawless from beginning to end. Seriously? Agreed with Jay Manuel: That is a Hell to the No also but your review was entertaining as always. Thanks gentlemen!
Rubbish cause there’s a load of objectively good acting from her in this where she shows nice nuances in her expressions and body language. It’s mad the disrespect she gets.

I saw CRAWL in theaters and I agree it was a solid creature feature, where as this movie sounds like a really corny PREDATOR knock-off.
first, if you got a noise out there, you do not go out alone, like we got a scene here - "i'll go to check it out and you stay here", cuz if the enemy is already there, well, they are so many and you're all alone - a certain death.. second, if you are hiding, you definitely don't wanna lights up - no generator, no lights, you stay in the dark and keep quiet, cuz they gonna see you miles away - a certain death.. and third, if you got a predator out there, you never go out alone, you go in a group of 5 or 6 men, make noises as much as you can, and believe me, no lion or tiger or any predator is going to attack you !! predators are not stupid.. and btw, the 1st girl was not murdered by an Aligator, because ther's no Aligators in Africa
The only good line in the whole movie was also the most apropos: "So, that just happened."
Joseph sounds like me, when I watch trashy SyFy Channel movies! Saw the trailer for this movie and said Hells No, once I saw the cgi lion. A shame because Megan Fox, was actually decent in Jennifer’s Body.
There’s an 80s killer lion movie called Savage Harvest, that used real lions, that was much better than this sounds.

Megan is very good in this overall. She has some impressive competence and has some conviction to her, nice nuances to her performance and she’s immersed in the role.

Crawl really was a good movie.
Despite the silliness of casting sex symbol Fox as the mercenary leader, director Bassett
has done a lot of good Cinemax Strike Back episodes, so thought it could still work as an action movie.
Maybe next time they shouldn't let their daughter write the screenplay.
Heads-up: the elephants were real - not CGI.
Worst cgi of 2020:A lion who looks more like a pitbull

I actually loved this movie, lions are my favorite animals and Megan Fox is my celebrity crush. Love the part at the end when the lion kills the bad guy leader and rips his throat out and you see how bloody it was.

Girl action action heroes is getting tired. There's a [near] zero percent chance a woman will ever go toe to toe with a man and stand a chance. Hollywood keeps pushing this reality distoring fiction anyway.
