Thank you for posting this video. Saved me £400 here in the UK quoted by BMW, replacing the cracked surround and light myself. The removal of the mirror did make me a little nervous but came off with no problems.
The bmw dealer asked me $600 in the US. One side signal is only around $70. They charge $500 for only labor. Lol. I will try do by my self. Thanks for sharing.
I ordered the same sequential mirror turn signals. But I can't get the passenger side to work. I even ordered another set and the same thing happens. I put the OEM light back on for now. How did you get both sides to work?? 🤔
Haven’t had any problems with mine they both sides worked immediately and are working till today without any problems. Not sure 🤔 what’s causing problems on your side.

Looks great. Seems as this item do the cold check flash at startup. Have you figure out how to cancel the check for these lights.

It looks harder than other bmw general.
Not that bad definitely harder in the winter time like I did when plastics are brittle.
You can't pop the bottom ones when it's in the mirror.. makes no sense
