- Welcome to this guide on where to find some of the best food in Cork, Ireland - shot in 4K, do not watch on an empty stomach! 😅
I spent a couple of wonderful days eating and drinking my way around Cork City and its stunning surroundings, discovering its flavours and meeting the warm and friendly locals. I scoff everything from a classic English Market breakfast with soda bread and Palestinian home cooking, to artisan coffee and Clonakilty sausages, to innovative small plates and fish and chips along The Wild Atlantic Way. And lots more - this guide is a truly delicious way to discover Cork!
Most of these places where I sampled the wonderful diversity of the food in Cork, Ireland were personal recommendations I received - and great recommendations they were too! Below are all the eateries I visited along with their websites, and you can skip straight to each section in the video too if you want to.

You're BACK!! 🥳 I'm so happy! You're delightful and your energy just makes my day! Every. Time! 😊💚🙌 I love your travel vids!
This is so lovely to hear - thank you!! 😍
Yeah, I can't wait for the next one! 😊
Pleasure to show you around.
Just scratched the surface though, and for some reason I always feel compelled to apologise for the weather!
To be fair though, it was exceptionally bad...
-Dave, Fab Food Trails
Haha thank you Dave and don't worry, we don't blame you for the weather 😅 We had a lovely afternoon with you, thanks again for the good food and company!
Thank you for visiting Cork. There are some wonderful restaurants and bars in the city and county. And of course, the locals are the finest. Please add Kinsale on your next visit to Cork.
Really nice to watch. I am fan of this channel and I am curieus to see the rest of Ireland.
Thanks so much :)
Love Cork City ❤
The video and it’s music is so great…..I wish I knew its album name so I can download it……Thanx a lot for the informative captions 🥰….planning on visiting
Leyla, thanks a lot for shared your experiences. Next year I’ll leave to Cork and know previously this places was crucial.
Finally someone who goes beyond Dublin! As an Irish person myself i can appreciate a well put together, yet informative video. Most of the times video's like these are cringey and clickbait-y. Which this definatly isnt. Great job
So pleased you approve Nick, thank you!
I disagree. First off, this us a sponsored ad. Second, it’s absolute rubbish. Cork is terrible for food. There are far better places in Ireland for it. Cork has tons of pubs, for sure. If that’s your idea of every day craic then you’ll be happy there, for sure. Otherwise it’s a rather boring city, especially for tourists.
What a beautiful person.
Well you have to come over the border to Kerry the next time you visit. Stunning coastline, hidden gems of restaurants and age old classics that have been around for generations.
I absolutely do, you are not the first person to suggest Kerry. Thank you for the tip and consider it added to my list!
Very very much beautiful city
Suggestion for a spring..summer Irish visit. Fly into gorgeous friendly Cork Airport..drive to East Cork. Visit beautiful Ballycotton Village.. do the famous cliff walk..book a guided tour of Ballycotton lighthouse..hop on little boat Yassy and head across the bay to the island. Lovely pubs..music..food..eat in Cush restaurant..book a ticket to a gig in Sea Church and enjoy gorgeous eats in the attached Sea Church restaurant. You won't want to leave.....❤
Wonderful suggestions, thank you!
GREAT video! Fantastic edit. Loved the energy and the jolly music throughout :)
Thanks so much Tan!! ☘
This is such a great video, almost a trailer for a full series.
haha maybe I should do a full tour of Ireland!
I really like your energy and enthusiasm, you did a great job of showing all sorts of Irish food!
Too kind, thank you!
Your great energy makes me happy and this video makes me appreciate my country's food in way I never did before. Well done, great presentation!
This is so lovely to hear Nick - thanks so much :)

51 Cornmarket❤
Absolutely loved this video, so much information. It looks like a great place and people seems so friendly and so many choices of fresh made food to choose from. Definitely one more to add on our long bucket list 😊
aww I'm so pleased you enjoyed it! Yes Cork is a wonderful place to visit and now I want to see the rest of Ireland!
Going there in August of 2024 can’t wait
Thank YOU for the amazing trip! It was fantastic! ❤
Thank YOU for watching!
Such a beautiful city. Loved the video ❤
Thank you so much!
If anyone is in Jacksonville Florida at Atlantic beach area. There's a spicy kimchi there that's Great 👍
Nice video
Welcome back!!! Love your energy. Hope you’re well. God bless. Cheers.
Aww thank you so much! It's great to be back :)
Brilliant!
So glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
Great Video as a Cork Native you hit a lot of the good spots in the City but no food video on Cork is complete without a trip to Kinsale, I don't believe you will find another small town anywhere in the World (except maybe Italy) that has as many restaurants of the very highest standards, You should do another video on Kinsale/West Cork
I’d say Cork (the county) is FAR superior to Cork City in that regards, and Kinsale is fantastic, but don’t go there on a Monday… everything is closed.
You have a beautiful smile
I adore the vibe of these videos wallahi ❤
Glad you enjoyed 🎉 missed Kinsale though. Sensational food
This video was filmed really well!
Editing for the video was on point 👌
Good job.
How did you find these places to eat? Some are familiar, but many of them I don't know! Lovely video, I am proud to see some of the gems of Ireland other than just Dublin!
Thank you Nancy! Through research and recommendations. I'm so glad you like it :)
5:30 pm
What do the Irish eat for breakfast, cereal, omelets?
Kudo's for getting out of Dublin
haha thank you!
how are you stay slim
Having just come from Cork I can absolutely assure you that it is NOT a foodie anything. The county is great, especially West Cork, but Cork City is a grimey, middle class work and school city with little quality food and everything closes by 9pm. It’s also not as safe as it used to be.
Pretty much ireland is not famous for good food . Beer and liquor yes
Maybe for low class people like yourself. Ireland has some of the top restaurants in Europe.
You're about 20 years out of date , the food and the ingredients are as good as anywhere these days.
Says nobody who has ever visited Ireland.
Among the best dairy and meat produce in the world . Superb whiskey too.
Nonsense the food is incredible. When is the last time you were in Ireland?
Nash 19 shut its doors like so many in recent wks, more is the pity🙄
Oh has it really? For good?
@@LeylaKazim Yes as well as White Rabbit and many more due to massive hikes in running costs, stock and general poor government policies, much the same with many pubs and restaurants around Ireland, more is the pity.
