I learned about this recently with my new 2022 Crosstrek that's also white. Wasn't a nice surprise. Freaked out and thought something was wrong with the paint. Probably came from bad covering while on a train, my own breaks, or other cars, whatever. The spray I got took care of maybe 80% of it and then a microfiber "bug sponge," worked. I really didn't want to clay bar the car because I hear that can be time consuming. Will try Adam's when my bottle runs out.
Fallout ,brake dust , metals in the air & water . Could be from washing so much and carwash may have bad water filtration or something. Happens alot but very easy to see on white cars .
It 100% is . Maybe look up definition of rust then look at what fallout or "iron deposits " are . Iron on surface of paint that sits there long enough to break down turns into what !! Oh rust lol ....move along noone cares about your negative attitude

Do you drive a lot by the city or industrial sites? Great product man and really easy to use
What causes the rust spots???

What is causing the iron deposits???
Could be my area , Could be carwash , Could be our government dropping heavy metals in the air 🤔
Do you have to wash or polish after this?
I hope you did the entire car. Just because you can't see the spots on the dark paint they are still there , " RUSTING "
Multiple times .
I've got news for you that isn't rust.
