Not dull at all. Stayed in this area of London a few years back and was great to relive the area. Thank you!

    I love these longer videos.
I especially like ones where you go from one station to another, as I would normally travel by tube, so miss out on the sites.
Maybe you could do some walks visiting stops on different tube lines.
I love the channel. Keep up the good work Watched Walker!

    A nice, pleasant walk.
    King's Cross, I don't know much.
I was impressed by all these beautiful red brick constructions.
I liked Carterwight Gardens with its houses, packed like soldiers at attention.
And then Tottenham Court and its kaleidoscopes of images.
    I enjoyed this walk.
    Thank you friend WW

This is the type of walk I enjoy, walking across London as opposed to walking around one small area. This is a route many people can follow when arriving in London, maybe for the first time, from the north of England. There are of course many other routes from King’s Cross to Trafalgar Square which you could have followed, maybe you will on another day. I would suggest walking down Grays Inn Road, down Chancery Lane, turn right through the Strand.

Thanks John, I'll try that route in an upcoming walk.

Overcast perhaps, but certainly not dull! Beautiful old buildings..more reminiscent of London 50 yrs ago. I do love the amazing newer architecture of London but ..no one will build a St. Pancreas Station anymore..! Great walk! Thanks..🇨🇦

London is a global city where you never get bored, since you have a very large cultural, gastronomic and leisure offer, for example, free museums, restaurants and theaters 🎭 and much more 😊

This brings back memories from when I visited England for the first time. I arrived in Kings Cross through Eurostar. Public transport workers had just started a strike. Actually one year ago today ha. Thank you

Enjoyed especially seeing the St . Pancras-building. And the girl with blue hair and a rabbit. Saw two logos. 19:50 and 57:53.

Olaf knows where the third logo is. I won't tell you exactly where - but a lady wearing a grey skirt and black stockings walks straight past it! Good luck - it isn't easy to spot!

27:35 Bloomsbury Square Garden. Google Maps says "London's oldest square, laid out in 1665." Ah, yeah. It was a mass burial pit for the Great Plague, which struck really hard (south and southwest) in St Giles in the Fields Parish, St Andrews High Holborn. In the 1960s (I think) they wanted to dig up the entire park and put in an underground garage. So all the bones had to be dug up. I think they're all in boxes in the Museum of London. In 1665 the park and everything north was open, farms and such, the Montague House, which is now The British Museum, wasn't yet anything.
I stayed in the Astor Museum Hostel, just east of the museum on Montague St. which is roughly where The Folly is located in Ben Aaronovitch's Rivers of London novels. (The first several are the best.)
42:00 Is Denmark Street where the fictional offices of fictional detectives Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott are located in the Robert Galbraith novels (a nom de plume of 'She Who Must Not Be Named,' hopefully only temporarily.)
44:26 is Cambridge Circus fictional home of MI-5 aka "The Circus" in the John Le Carré novels.
    Cool video. thanks.
