Meet the artist: Laura Apolonio

Laura Apolonio (PhD) is a multifaceted artist and professor-researcher at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Granada. In the field of artistic
creation, her work spans multidisciplinary fields-painting, sculpture, video, photography, design, public art, and Land Art. She has disseminated her
works through exhibitions in both institutional centers and private spaces, nationally and internationally. Her artistic pursuit focuses on the creative
potential of the body. Having spent her childhood in Africa, her artistic style seeks to find an ethnic, primitive, and authentic expressiveness in the search
for a vital and original energy.
