Hehe. I always loved the B-chat and every time i leveled a horde character i would jokingly ask "where is Mankirk's wife" just to create some hilarity in chat and i would smile at the silly replies. But to answer your comment, i once picked Barrens to become my permanent home. After playing for 4 years, i decided to retire my orc shaman in style. His adventure took him all over Azeroth, then he went to Draenor to reunite with his tribal orc ancestors and fight the Legion, then he went to the Isle of Quel Danas to push KJ back into his sewer hole, then went to Northrend to fight the Bitch King and his unded hordes. Wehn i decided to quit WOW during the WOTLK i chased down all the ghostly elders from Azeroth to get the "elder" title, i died his hair white and i went to one of the abandoned pig farms in northern Barrens, put on a staff and some simple clothes and retired him at that farm. I took one final screenshot and said good bye with a tear in my eye. And that was the end of the story for Elder Selmak, retired orc shaman that chose to become a simple pig farmer in his golden years. That was in 2010. I never went back to play him and later on i lost access to my account because it got hacked and pass changed. I was already burned out of WOW so i did not care to go through the hoops to recover my acc, and so it ended. Nowadays i play on a couple of nice private servers and i just play for fun with a pal.
I used to be very opposed to using AI voice over until someone explained to me why they use it. There are many reasons YTers choose this option, and, although i would prefer a genuine voice, not everyone has a nice sounding voice. Other reasons are that creating a good sound proofing of a room to eliminate reverb is pretty expensive. Also a decent boom mic is expensive so many people just getting into it or maybe just doing YT videos as a fun project in their time off may not be willing to invest hundreds of dollars to resolve those 2 issues. And maybe some people just have a crappy voice (or at least they think so) and are not willing to share it with the world. Anyway, at least the guy has good writing and nice editing. I doubt his channel will ever explode in popularity, but i enjoyed his 3 videos (as of yet). :)
@@mancamiatipoola so rather than put effort (sound proofing a room is as simple as draping a heavy blanket over yourself while you record) or time (practicing talking to yourself and speaking clearly) he decided to take the easy and cheap way out. AI just shows you dont care about the end product and you're not willing to put your heart and soul into a video
@@Imactuallymute I just gave an opinion, i still do not condone the use of AI in any form, but i understand why some people may use it. Also sound proofing a room is much simpler if you just use classic thick fabric drapes, not those ridiculous plastic strips as drapes. And with a decent gaming headset your voice sounds clear and dont need a boom mic. There are solutions to many problems, except if he doesnt like the sound of his voice... Anyway, he did not put much effort into it and i moved on...
