Joking! 😂😂 Great points to highlight, I agree a lot because, I've filmed myself having crazy fun over a few years with Albert and it transpires some other people also like crazy fun too and subscribed just like you outlined, as my channel grew, I played around with other things like lives it shorts and yes, if you get someone who's overwhelming the live chat comments, it feels like it's your own reputation being dragged into it because it's your chat and you're limited to how distracted you can get 😮. We should learn to live more in the moment and enjoy the community of different facets across the hobby, be involved, people will find your channel. Well put Dave, good chat 💯🔥🔥
Marty, I just finished watching your last live and found it very strange that guys reaction. I love how you let your live chat organically take it off on tangents, ie airbrushing or soldering etc. I think this video Dave has just done was a very thoughtful and positive reaction to what happened on your live, which I think was unfair to you. As this is purely my favorite hobby where i go to only seek enjoyment, I tend to stay away from controversy and drama. However, I feel compelled to reach out and let you both know I truly admire your responses to the situation. Thank you for reassuring me the world has not turned upside down (at least in this little part of it, lol!).
Decent content, helpful attitude, friendly atmosphere. Those things will get you far. Constantly spamming others chats, over and over with self promotion just puts people off. Great chat Dave.

This is so right, I've found loads of channels and content from reading the chats in various live streams. Haven't seen any needless self promotion, just loads of nice like minded people sharing ideas and opinions.
Dave, I think you have so many subscribers because you are genuinely a really great guy! Your videos have helped me so many times in my pursuit of slot car fun. Thanks for everything you do. Also, thanks to all the other slot car content makers (many have posted here) you make this hobby more fun just by being online and sharing.

It was the coffee that got me as I enjoy my coffee too. I have been contemplating starting a channel myself but as yet I haven't done anything about it.

I watch a lot of Slot Car videos, many about things I’ll never try like scratch building, because this community has so many really nice people. It was great to see so many of you get together at the Slot Car Festival.
