And for Infosys simple ga Edo interview chesaru, HR round lo meru expect chesinantha ivvalem, present meku unna package ki 2-3 lakhs ivvagalam Ani chepparu later they rejected, now after this video I came to understand it is all kind of Ghost interviews.
Same happened with me, no update from HR, used linkedin to get India's HR director of that company, sent email to him including all, in a day or two HR called me and updated its on Hold due to budget constraints and advised me to find out other opportunities. Its a big company and I was like its a breaking point in career..

other reasons: to show top management they picked the best candidate out of all, however the candidate is already pre-decided from their network. this is one of the scenarios how comapnies fail once they become big enough. don't fret over on all these tactics and start believing on your skill set and you will find path sometime sooner.

Not sure, from which company you got an offer. But, these kind of situations occurs mostly with consulting companies. They deal with Staff Aug. projects.
Reason no 5 - The companies want to attract more clients by conducting these interviews. clients will think this company is handling so many projects, so many candidates are recruited. So, this client will go with that company
