    He's brilliant in "Legends of the Fall" and "Troy"... and I'm not talking about his looks alone (though he looks gorgeous in both) but his acting in both these movies is par excellence. He's a great actor. The problem with our society is that we idealize someone for their good looks and then go on to hate them for the same...

    Underrated actor. Should be more recognized. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is also outstanding, both film and acting.
    I would just recommend to not show so much spoilers scenes, but great video.

    you're are missing the fact that he makes acting look easy, he is in fact an acting surgeon. It's hard to find someone as precise in delivery.

    Totally agree about OUATIH. I've seen it ten times so far, with an 11th scheduled this Thursday. Seen it with different people, by myself, in digital and in 35mm. It's now one of my favorite movies ever.
    And the first few times I saw it, while I thought DiCaprio's Rick Dalton was the "showier" part, I thought Pitt's Cliff Booth was the cooler one.
    But at about the 3rd or 4th time, I started to realize that Brad Pitt was doing a much harder job. His work in this is very subtle. He communicates so much sometimes with just a look, or a hand gesture.
    I think it's his best work.

    For me his best performance is in Moneyball. It's a subtle performance and a relatable character. Would have been nice to at least hear it mentioned in this video (especially considering its one of his only three Oscar noms for acting). Still, very good video and very good choice. I wasn't as head over heels in love with Once Upon A Time In Hollywood as Chris clearly is; but it is a very good film and Pitt may be the best aspect of it (that and the darkly funny yet touching ending).

      @Johnny NiteTrain Dude, it's still playing in select theaters... A lot of people don't see movies in theaters (and I don't blame them for not wanting to spend $30+ to see a movie these days) and wait for them to publicly release. You really should give a spoiler warning for a movie that is that new. Why not be on the safe side? I see people still give spoiler warnings when talking about Breaking Bad.

  • @michaelwolf8690
    @michaelwolf8690 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I disagree with your assessment on 12 Monkeys. He really stole that film, with that Pitt Charisma. I can see the argument that the character seemed gimmicky and maybe was more craft than talent, but it was also far from Brad Pit's palette as an actor. It's no fight club, it's no Once Upon a Time in Hollywood but it's a solid role for him, memorable, iconic and it's hard to imagine how that film would have worked without that character.

  • @jamesstaggs4160

    I have no idea if his accent in Snatch was accurate but it sure was entertaining.
    Also, yeah he was great in The Assasination. Great film, if a little tough to watch since it's actually really depressing. Oh and Afleck was great too. I really bought that he was that character and he made you not like him. I was uncomfortable every time he was on screen.
