OOOh shit! Don't have time to watch but added this to watch later. This is a subject that I've been wondering about. Perfect timing and subject matter!
I see a lot people shouting scam on this guy. If someone is really a scammer, show the receipts otherwise you're just running your mouth. In my opinion: TH-camrs, bloggers, anyone of "influence" are all opinionated people. Take what you want and ignore the rest. It's that simple I do follow Nomad Capitalist, while I may not agree with everything he says, he has a lot great points, and he has challenged my stances on certain things. This is why I follow him. To be honest, I don't think you should ever agree with anyone 100%. That stunts intellectual growth.
What an incredibly unlikable guy! And he is so greedy with useful facts, this is just a sales pitch for getting individualized consulting from his company. Very little useful information for half an hour. Chris, can you find someone useful to interview on that topic?
27:33 North Africa is a safe place for Europeans but for the rest of us I would refrain. I like these videos. The context he post is very insightful however he is only telling us the story from his experience meaning that it all varies base on the individual. He is a white western English speaking male and we all know that is a privilege they have in this world.
Hi, I am from Peru and I want to start selling digital goods to US customers. I want to know if I have to pay taxes for withdrawing money to a US bank account from paypal. I would like to move to Panama where there is a territorial taxation system so if I withdraw money from paypal to a US bank account would I have to pay taxes? Because I have to have a physical presence in USA to pay taxes which I don't, and for being in Panama foreign income is not taxable, is this legal? Thank you.
I have heard that Australian citizens are not required to report their income earned outside of Australia, is this true? As an American, we're required to report any and all income to the almighty tax-man.
Can't tell you for sure but it would involved changing your tax residency. If you're not a tax resident of Australia, you don't have to pay tax on foreign-earned income. www.ato.gov.au/Individuals/International-tax-for-individuals/Work-out-your-tax-residency/
I don't envy you guys. You're working an issue that precipitates a lot of ENVY/JEALOUSY. As you're on youtube, you're also in front of a lot of ignorance. It has been said that the 'masses are asses' meaning ignorance.
It always brings a tear to my eye when I think about your sad early life and how you never fit in. It is a pity because in the US we are so gay tolerant. Then again, you grew up in Ohio and Arizona. Keep the faith.
I came to your account hoping to get finally some answers after watching Henderson for a while. Pam, Henderson not giving one straight answer for over 20min. Mmm.
In summation: 1. Your situation is unique...the advice/guidance you receive should be as well. 2. You can pay $29.99 for this 'advice...or....you can pay ten's, if not hundred's of thousands. 3. In your personal cost vs. benefit analysis of tax reduction/avoidance, it would be wise to consider the cost of 'hoop-jumping'...(i.e. do you like living life like a cocaine smuggler). - You'll notice the young lads coordinated their outfits...short pants and short sleeves. You'll also notice two couches and an end table...right in front of a doorway!?? Do these dudes look like they've got 'it mastered? Is this what 'high finance looks like? If you saw these two greeting you at a bank you were considering doing business with, what would go through your mind? No shade. Maybe they're the BEST in the world at avoiding taxes. They just don't look like it. - (take note of the dollar amounts mentioned, when dollars were mentioned) - Here's some advice...and it's FREE...(in other words, it's worth NOTHING). Starting from one of the most draconian tax dungeons on planet earth, California... 1. Domicile yourself in Nevada...with a 'vacation home on the nevada side of lake tahoe, or vegas. (get address, cable, utilities, Driver's License, auto registration, annual dentist and doctor appts., etc. all in nevada) ((wanna get 'ill?...put your own personal 'cloud server in your tahoe condo, and then VPN into and through that server for 'work))...((now you have a nevada IP address, 'offsite data backup, and a source of heat for your mountain chalet)) 2. Incorporate in some way. (have the corporation provide housing...wherever you'd like) (have the corporation donate (up to) 30 percent of it's adjusted gross income to a charity...maybe your own private family foundation) 3. Pay yourself (under double taxation...i.e. 30%) a $36,000 'salary. (be certain to stay in lowest tax bracket) 4. Pay yourself 'qualified dividends. (at a 21 percent corporate tax rate, and zero personal income rate) 5. Move about earth freely...as if you weren't being hunted. In other words, for a cost of about 20 percent of the money earned, (~15% if you 'donate the full 30% to 'charity), (even less if you're 'good with "corporate expenses"), you are free to get your clothing from a chest of drawers rather than a suitcase. Of course, you can still be 'nomadic if you please. As opposed to 'having to be. - These boys walk a fine line between being nomadic for pleasure vs. being a (tax) fugitive on the run.
HSBC sucks. My mate in Bangkok had his account closed arbitrarily by the bastards after he'd been doing business with them for years. Don't bother with them. It's really important to get good advice so you don't end up building a structure around something (like HSBC) that doesn't work.
No he didn't fail. You don't understand what the DN movement is all about. It's about spreading delusions of grandeur in order to lure naive suckers into the dream. Once you got them hoked you sell them ebooks, curses, etc. teaching them how to make money as a DN. Of course it's all a scam but the real DN business model is selling the dream of being a DN. It's a huge scam and Chris has played a pivotol role.
That's totally not fair I've spend lots of time watching this interview and you guys say nothing conclusive about where I should open my company to start my businesses as digital nomad.
You're missing the whole point seems. Think by yourself. Things keep changing, do your own research or hire an expert to give you custom advise for your situation (like the holistic approach of Nomad Capitalist). There is a lot of small pieces to put together about this.
You can love or hate this guy but what he says between 20:37 -21:40 is very true and important to understand
Why would anyone hate Andrew?
@@Minder777 Because haters will hate. You have to move past that if you have a youtube channel.
Super awesome to see/hear Andrew with you on your channel, Chris!
Nomad Capitalist is an amazing firm and definitely walking the talk...

Very helpful and interesting video. Thanks Chris.
Thanks Max.

Doesn't seem like an expert or reveal anything that is not common knowledge
I always notice “hand signals”. How hands are placed in resting position. Don’t you? 😉
Is it only me that find Andrew waffling? He talks ab structure but there is none in his explanation, I found out nothing here...
He is a professional con artist. You have the whits to see it. Many others do not. You are fortunate.

I'm just a home flipper working for investors. Making about 4-5 grand a month in Las Vegas, NV. Can I escape the US?
Please help me escape the US!
I don't know what commitments you have in Vegas but 4-5 grand per month is a lot of money in most of world.

Pretty much common knowledge.
