Thank you so much bro for sharing your knowledge, you’re definitely an inspiration to me I can’t believe we’re the same age lol I need your mentality or something like it. Keep up the good work !
It would be great if you could make a video about how you run your channel like a business. I'm curious to know how you do it, and what precautions you take to avoid mixing your personal finances with your business finances. Your videos are so refreshing! Peace and love from South Africa 🤗🇿🇦!!
Please don't present being an online language teacher as something that just anyone can do. It requires a lot of people skills, an understanding of your native language at a linguistic level and knowledge about the psychology of learning. Of course, it's a skill that can be learned and you don't necessarily need a university diploma for it but it does require hard work, especially at the beginning and is not for anyone who's an English native speaker. For getting started, I would recommend the resources from Lindsay Does Languages: ldlpages.lpages.co/teachwithldl/ Apart from that, good video!
You can't put a price on this man's honesty! Thank you, as an unemployed, recent graduate, I am considering starting my professional experience as a freelancer.

@kai no he's a men's guru. He teaches men how to dress, manscrape and all. But nearly all of his videos are sponsored with various products, whether it is watches or hair products.
The dude always brings up Tiege Hanley or Pete & Pedro in almost every video. It's because he owns a part of both of these companies and at this point he's just constantly advertising his own stuff in all of his videos. And some videos are also sponsored by Dollar Shave Club, so he brings them up frequently too.
Timothy Lam it‘s also really sleezy, he used to make useful videos now he just gets money from sponsorships and makes ads for which he gets both views and more sales from gullible people

Being location independent is my main goal. I have family and friends living all over the place and I want to have face to face contact with them way more often that the traditional work conditions allow to. Employers are really not adapting fast enough to this globalized world. You might not notice this when you have all your close people living in one city, but with all my close people being spread across different countries and continents, I feel like a dog chained to it's dog booth, having to be in he same location where my office is most of the time. One of the reasons I've started my channel is to eventually get this freedom and also hopefully be heard by the modern world's employers, once I have a larger audience. At the moment I can be heard only by 57 people, which is not quite enough to change the world XD

Great video! In November 2018 I embarked on a 14 month trip around the world. At the time of departing I wasn't a digital nomad and didn't really have any sense how to get there. But after some time to hustle, research ways to make money online, and a lot of patience I found my niche! Teaching English online. I've been doing it for over 4 months now and it's been amazing. It's been funding my travels while I've been abroad. Being a digital nomad is the future, I can feel it. Having the flexibility to create your own schedule and to decide where you want your workspace to be is awesome.
Sick advice. 🙌I would also add that especially when it comes to TH-cam and blogging you MUST understand SEO. Especially in the beginning, don't just put content out there because you enjoy the topic. Do your research and find keywords that rank high and also keywords where the existing content is not that good so that TH-cam or Google can favor your content. When you reach more than 100k subscribers, then things start to become easier and you can experiment with different ideas and concepts.
Another straight-forward, clean guide. I agree with what you say about creating over reselling. I'd rather make my own than just pass on someone else's. However, I see that it's a subjective thing and not everyone enjoys creative processes as much as some do.
Best video on the topic man. I got sick of hearing so many videos sounding scammy and trying to make me to things like digital marketing which I wont enjoy. I respect your authenticity. Thank you

I like the sound of your lifestyle lol I tried these things and failed, at least not enough to make full time, so it’s nice to see someone who has succeeded, I like my freedom and it looks like you have freedom!
Another thing that you need to consider is the vast amount of people trying such things. As per economics, if everyone is trying to make a living online, then making a living online becomes much more difficult.
Yes, making a living online becomes much more difficult however it’s not gonna be that more difficult than the current job market now(of course this depends on your location). Half of the world has access to the internet, of those who have access a small percentage are active users on various platforms, then a small percentage of that group are those looking to make a living online. Add to that the percentages divided among various skill sets, languages, personalities etc. There’s a lot of competition but the difficulty to make a living online won’t be marginal as more people are looking to make a living online.
Tyler McKinley But the internet isnt held back by any physical restraints like the real world, where you have to make space/room for businesses and workers. The internet is boundless. No matter how many people there are youll always have a chance to be seen, you just have to provide quality and unique content/products. I cant tell you how many times ive accidentally stumbled onto, say, the car side of TH-cam or the make up side and discovered hundreds of channels with thousands of subscribers each, unbeknownst to me. Seems like there isnt even any competition. People are just happy to have so many options to subscribe to and buy from, and with globalization there doesnt seem to ever be a shortage of demand. Again, you just have to provide unique, quality services and win the trust of your customers/fan base. If you fail to be recognized, the beauty of the internet is that you can try as many times as youd like.
When I sold stuff online I found things at estate sales and thrift stores which I listed on eBay. Usually they were collectible items that had a unique story behind them. Learning about the history and time period these items came from was always exciting. It was a constant treasure hunt. So, it definitely can be a creative process in its own way. It just depends on how you go about it. This approach doesn't always yield as much profit, but it's much lower risk. You don't need to invest in buying bulk amounts. I would personally recommend starting here before going the FBA route.
Yes I m Greek and proud and like most of us speak the truth but truth hurts sometimes. You? Since you generalize I judge from your profile picture that you are not so bright and probably a fascist. No?
thank you so much for this video, you're one of few youtubers who give valuable info and not only that, you're talking about it based on your real experience, I like that
*It's really awesome that you mentioned having an emergency fund! Most people don't have one and an unexpected $500 bill can derail someones financial situation.*
I started watching your videos around the time you posted your "For people feeling behind in life", and it's been a great journey to follow you as you put in more focus into your uploads. I've also seen your prior video about the money you earn online, and while ad revenue is anything but consistent, it's great to see that you're really getting a larger audience for your content. Wishing you the best!
Interesting that you bring up a video like this, which is usually more in the category of channels like mine, but I like to see content of this nature being produced in your style. I think that when you're trying to "make it online" you gotta understand a variety of things and one of the most important is to be wary of the MYRIAD of people who are going to try to directly profit of your desire to "make it" (which basically just means you wanna make your bank off the internet, you aren't going to work less and you are, to an extent, giving up social benefits). Beyond that, I think you nailed the point in your video that you gotta be creative and, something I always say, is that you shouldn't trick yourself into thinking that you HAVE TO do the things that everyone's doing, just because some people are doing good money off it (be it through doing it, or, more often, through teaching it). So be creative, that shit will make the whole process so much EASIER. And finally, just stick to something. Don't be the scheme dude who's jumping from one thing to another. Try a few things out, for sure, but if you find something that you like, that you're good at and that you can scale, then just stick to it man, don't be a Trendjunkie. tl;dr: nice vid man
Man. This is fantastic. I mean, in one video you can sintetize all the resources that we have online to make money. Thanks for that. You videos are amazing

I admire and appreciate your honesty and openness so much. Imo everybody should think and talk about money this way, and help where knowledge is lacking 🙃 So great job and keep it up 💪
This is just how you do it though. Aka the sites you use what you can do on this. What this video and many others don't tell you is that millions of people do this every day and fail miserably because they can't build a fanbase. All of this requires a fanbase, a group of people who continuously buy your products. No fanbase, no money. If you're working for an online employer, you need to have skills in the workforce. If you don't have any work experience, then you'll likely not get hired. Yet every place asks for work experience. I know some tricks to get around these problems myself but it would be cool if you made a video on that so we can see your perspective on it.
A plug for your sponsor from the other side. I made a Skillshare class sort of expecting it to make no money, despite not seeming to have many students in it I am regularly receiving small amounts of revenue from it. From this experience, I can see that given a bit of effort it's probably worth it to make a few small classes.

I ve a question for you,how many ppl do you personally know that are actually making a living on the internet?
@anglekan whats Your book called?
i was just thinking how to make money online and this popped up asap WTF
Same thing
Same thing. Wonderful timing really
TH-cam is reading your mind bro
Sameeeeeeee
Same here bro

No?
I have been subscribed to this channel. I could not be happier. Really genuine.
" I just think the internet is where everything is gonna happen in the future " HE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW
thank you so much for this video, you're one of few youtubers who give valuable info and not only that, you're talking about it based on your real experience, I like that
*It's really awesome that you mentioned having an emergency fund!
Thankyou for your inspiration. I am going to make a new channel for language learning. Thankyou so much for this!
DatFaceClan i love language learning! Fellow polyglot here haha, I’ll subscribe 😅
you seriously have one of the most interesting and enlightening channels on youtube. super happy the algorithm gods put you on my path :]
Try a few things out, for sure, but if you find something that you like, that you're good at and that you can scale, then just stick to it man, don't be a Trendjunkie.
tl;dr: nice vid man
Love your content in every way! ❤️❤️❤️ plus your audio is mesmerizing
Man. This is fantastic. I mean, in one video you can sintetize all the resources that we have online to make money.
Thanks for that. You videos are amazing
Definitely one of the most honest and straightforward videos on this. Going in the content creator/freelancing field has definitely caused me to have to look into this stuff a LOT more!
As soon as I get to YT I saw the video, best way to start the day.
Buenos Dias!
well done, bro! Glad you enjoyed Paris and Mexico! I lived in Queretaro and Monterrey for 2 1/2 yrs and 4 yrs after college, I spent a summer in Montellier, FR, to work on my French in b/n living in Mexico.

Thank you for your videos. I’m turning 31 next week and feel completely lost. I’ve done so much adventuring and now that I’m ready to settle and get my sh*t together, Im realizing I have nothing. This video gave me hope. Thank you.
You’re so well spoken my man! I love it 🙏🏼
"if there is a demand for something in the world and you can find a way to offer that in a high-quality way, you can make a living!".🔥🔥🔥
Hey Nathaniel! Would be really great if you can make a video on Planning. Planning projects, planning goals, etc.
I admire and appreciate your honesty and openness so much. Imo everybody should think and talk about money this way, and help where knowledge is lacking 🙃
So great job and keep it up 💪
This is just how you do it though.
"If you speak English, if you understand this video" 😢 and I, who learn English to understand about what you talking in this video now. (thank you for subtitles)

Thanks for sharing this video Nathaniel. I've been watching your video for a long time. Didn't know you're also a DN. I'm also a Digital Nomad for the last 6 years. Doing Freelance video editing, graphic designing and I run e-commerce businesses as well. Thanks for dropping this amazing value. A lot of people will find valuable. I appreciate you making a video like this. You really practice what you preach, high quality consistent content.
