Imagine being a clone, training your entire life, graduating, and being sent out on your first mission, just for your gunship to explode before it even gets to land.

Happens all the time in the real world too, its one of the real tragedies of war that a person can spend so much time preparing for the fight just to never get there an die in transit.
It's why the pilots and drivers deserve more credit as a successful trip is equal parts skill and luck, and lacking in either leads to disaster. The pressure those pilots and drivers are under to not only protect their own life but those who are under their care must be immense.

I love how you phrased TA-175's report to Count Dooku as him reporting that Wat Tambor "was a dumbass". A very accurate telling of what happened.

    • @BennyLlama39

Somehow I pictured Red from That 70s Show as TA-175. 😀
TA-175: "Tambor didn't make it out."

It was a very interesting tactic when Ahsoka used the belly of the Venator as a shield while getting a drop on the Separatist ships

The Marg Sable works pretty well to cover the Ventator's weak points, though it renders the ship offensively impotent and a large target.

*Personal Fun Fact:* This was the first ever Clone Wars Episode I had ever seen, and it greatly influenced me as a kid. It instantly captivated my young mind, and seeing the brutal battle there and the clones with their Jedi leader having their last stand in such a manner was certainly awe-inspiring.

Honestly the Space battle over Ryloth was a disappointment. Strategically, the Republic as a whole failed by deploying such a limited force to liberate such a key world. Operationally, the Council failed by assigning Anakin and his highly Inexperienced Padawan to Spearhead the operation. And then tactically Anakin failed by putting too much faith in his Padawan, costing lives and ships that he couldn't afford to lose.

I like to think that Keeli and some of his men were later saved by Cham Syndula after the supplies were dropped, and these clones after being treated for their wounds would live with the Twileks and possibly later join captain Howser.

Who cares if this was a so-called war (at best) infraction. They’re droids. Grievous sacrificed countless ships and droids so he could hightail it out on his art deco hot rod whenever he got crushed by the Republic. Know who else doesn’t care? Twi’Lek resistance fighters, their dead and dying families, and all the dead Clones who were wiped out on the first CIS attack. And I don’t even like young Vader.
