I'm not sure how enjoyable these small roads are to watch but I for sure know they are super enjoyable to ride. Especially on big travel enduros. These roads will let you truly experience how easy a bike like the KTM can be moved and how agile it actually is. I hope you can enjoy this one even without the annoying noise coming from my nearly broken audio recorder. As far as I checked this noise won't be as loud in the upcoming RAWs which I did shoot on other roads!

Great road! Gotta love the quickshifter+! I just picked up 2018 SAS 3 weeks ago! Loving it so far.
Dieser Motor ist immer da++++ und hat immer noch viel mehr Power als man auf der Strasse abrufen kann. Von ganz smooth bis runter zu knapp über 2000 rpm bis MEGA kraftvoll. Ich liebe diese Adventure Serie. Die Alpen sind ihre Parade Disziplin. Einfach nur herrlich
Der Sound und die Performance der 1290er sind einfach unschlagbar und es macht Dir anscheinend eine Menge Spaß sie um die Kehren zu zirkeln (zumindest kommt es für mich so rüber). Tolle Landschaft, tolle Strecke, tolles Motorrad - was will man mehr. Wieder mal spitzen Video. Danke fürs mitnehmen.
Kommt definitiv nicht nur so rüber, sondern war wirklich eine große Freude :D
I drove another road up this pass once. Nice to see this option now. Actually looks like a bit more diverse scenery than what I drove, nice drive!

Respekt! Sehr sicher und dynamisch gefahren! Und das noch dazu auf unbekannter Straße mit fremdem Motorrad. Für mich als Fahrer des gleichen Motorrads ein besonderes Vergnügen, weil fast wie wenn ich mir selbst beim Fahren zusehen würde.
In meinen Augen gibt es für diese Art von Straßen nichts besseres als eine üppig motorisierte Reiseenduro. Ob KTM, BMW, Ducati oder Triumph ist Geschmackssache.
Da bin ich bei dir, auf solchen Straßen wäre ich eig. mit jeder großen Reiseenduro glücklich!! Danke!

Die Strasse hätte ich vor gut 2 Woche auch gefahren. Bin dann aber unten rum über Aprica. Schön sie jetzt hier mitzufahren!

Bin erst vor wenigen Tagen auf Deine Videos gestoßen und habe noch nicht alle gesehen. Dieses hier ist aber bei Weitem das beste.Nicht gerast, sondern sportlich gefahren und subjektiv viel geschmeidiger und nicht so gehetzt wie auf den anderen . Liegt vielleicht auch am Motorrad. So jedenfalls kann ixh mich besser damit identifizieren als auf den "letzte Rille" Videos von Dir. Daumen hoch für diesen Film.

Noise is the Cam tensioner. The Ktm also suffers from emissions control device noise.

Absolut artgerecht bewegt ... genau so will es die Superkati haben. Saubere Linie , und dort wo es geht .... Feuer frei. Ich fahre das Teil auch seit 17 Monaten und brauche nach 25 Jahren GSXR 1000 keine GSXR mehr .... Weltklasse Mopped.

Tolle Strecke und klasse Motorrad. (ich fahre die GT)Auf den schmalen Straßen wirkt das um einiges schneller. Aber cool, dass da so wenig Verkehr ist. Super Video!

the KTM dude... how you pretend to compare a super sport trial bike with a touristic trial bike like the GS ??
@@Big1_ The bmw is a great travel bike, very easy and smooth in the fast roads a little 'less in the small ones with tight turns.
i tried the gs and the KTM super adventure s... both bikes are two different worlds.... KTM is a super trial bike, wich launchs you from 100 to 220kmh in 4 seconds... bmw is the typical bored, smoth no feeling bike to go from A point to B point... a bored bike rided by +45 years old people. ktm is for adrenaline, bmw is for confort.
@@Big1_ ..ok this is your opinion! We talk about trial bike, I do not care to know which bike is faster in 0-200! For that i use my street bike.

Nice ride. My only advice is to buy the screen from the 'R' and pack the stock screen. You'll enjoy roads like this way more when you can see! The S also feels more like a giant supermoto with the R screen fitted. You can thank me later :-)

Like the video! Do you even touch the clutch handle during this ride? How does it feel when you get back on the little Honda and no quick-shifter any more? Do you think the Quick-shift will lead to fully automatic bikes or is there still fun in gearing up and down even with the quick-shifter?
thanks Ruud! It always feels great because the CB still is the most flickable bike I know. And it's also nice to use the clutch from time to time

Is it possible that the chain is scraping on the swing arm, or on a metal piece surrounding the sprocket ? Wich (could) mean to much chain slack ?

Sounds like the guys at the KTM factory left some spanners inside the engine.
Do you have a quick shifter on your bike. Can't see you pulling the clutch?
yes it's quickshifter, ktm makes some quality ones

Bin die 2017 die 1200er GS und die Kati "ohne S" gefahren und kenne meinen Favoriten, mich würde aber interessieren wie du das siehst und warum.

I was looking at your left hand. I can't see a motion of operating the clutch? Do I miss it, or did you actually shift without clutch? I had a 1190 myself, so I know it shifts very smoothly. But without clutch?

So there is an upshifter but is there an automatic downshifter ? because I don’t see you use the clutch at any moment 😂

it has a quickshifter with blipper function which means you don't need to use the clutch while downshifting as well

try 1080p/60fps instead of 1440/30fps. so your followers (like me:)) spend more time at your channel and maybe adsense uncle buy you some sd card.
I don't agree. It would be nice to have 60 FPS, but with 30 it's not too bad.
@@Berenar 1440p gives more bitrate so image quality is better even on a 1080p display, i do prefere to have more detail than framerate
I'd never use 1080p/60 over 1440p/30. 1080p footage gets compressed to death on TH-cam. 2.7K and 4 K footage a lot less. I'm totally with +midibudu
