I’m addicted to your videos. So much fun, joy and tips! Finally someone with the patience to teach and show how mods and tools work. Pleasant voice and not much talking too! Congratulations and keep up! (I’ll comment in every video just to improve TH-cam’s algorithm)
Came back to add a tip about how I create industrial areas that look authentic. Instead of plopping everything on normal streets, I use Parking Lot Roads. That gives you a massive expanse of asphalt between/around your various buildings. Which is what you often see in such areas. I leave most of the space blank, maybe scatter some parking spaces here and there depending. For example, I might have warehouses on one side, with no parking, and one of the unique factories on the other side with plenty of employee parking. Then I'll run a little side street and maybe plop some small offices, a security shack, etc. There are also substation assets on the workshop that apparently use the solar panel mechanics to produce power. Those look great in an industrial zone and add power without having to spam powerplants all over the place.
@Fast Forward Glad to share. I might make videos myself some day. But it's so much simpler to make a comment and let others take it from there. I think you'll like the look of the parking lot roads. They come in a few widths if you haven't seen them. Could probably do the same with the Big Parking Lot kit, but I find it cumbersome.
Great content! I also love your editing. I normally watch CS content at 1.25 playback speed, but that's not going to be the case for your builds for sure. Of course, that must be the case for channel named Fast Forward. 😅 This is so good, and as an added bonus for a Melbournian like me, it's great to hear an Aussie accent.
Great stuff! I see the inspiration from the others, but you implimented it in your own way and I think it looks great. I also LOVE keeping the vids under 20 mins
What I'm not clear on is exactly what you're doing. Is that "plop the growables"? Do the buildings function normally despite being unzoned? I'm not one of those who wants to hand paint street numbers on every building. But I really like this level of detailing where you can actually design the look of an area rather than relying on random spawning. I just don't have a clue how to make it work.
@Fast Forward I use 'Find It!' all the time. Experimented with an older version of RICO, but thought it was "all or nothing", and I really don't want to plop every building on the map. I'll have to look at it again. Thanks for the info. And keep up the good work.
@@thundafromdownunda Yup, started using it and now it's yet another mod I'm addicted to. Insanely handy being able to plop zoned industry buildings into an Industries area without having to zone and hope something useful spawns.
hmmmm this looks VERY similar to Fewcandy's Auridon industry. The thumbnail and detailing are also pretty heavily taken from her. Nice build but you should really credit your ideas bro...
Awesome episode
I don't usually watch people who plop buildings, however; you make it interesting to watch!
Love the Williams plant! Really well done
Dude, absolute great episode. Love every second. Outstanding area. Like how you used all these buildings and props. Music was spot on! 10/10
I was waiting for this episode!
@@thundafromdownunda once a week is good 👍 love from India

Avanyas warehouses naturally serve as warehouses m8 you must have ricoed them. Neat little area looking really good.
@@thundafromdownunda ah ok ;) well as long as it works for you it's fine. it just sounded like you were missing the warehouse functionality.
Nice video, do you plan on building a small airport?
Wonderful channel with a great vibe!
I hope we see more then one connection into that Suburb, as right now its just one big Cul De Sac,

I would really appreciate a video that shows how to use the mods. Thank you for publishing your list.
@@thundafromdownunda Absolutely Think that would be valuable! subscribed to most of what was on your list. Learning how to use them is the hard part.
