If you want to make sure that no notes spill over to other tracks, you can actually rec-arm tracks by hitting shift+rec, then use the corresponding display button :)

I was ripping my hair out had everything set up yet nothing was working, started switching midi lines, readjusting additional settings, yelled at the sky for a bit then just decided to do the classic turn off the midi keyboard and turn it back on and it works flawlessly haha... great vids as always when i saw yours working immediately i knew something simple had to be wrong in my situation...

Very nice! Got my Tracker yesterday and I'm in LOVE. Haven't tried a controller with it yet. It's on the list. Just trying to find my way around all the possibilities at this point.

When you want to enter chords in step mode, you can just expand your selection in record mode horizontally to cover as many tracks as you like

Actually sounded cool with all kicks😆. Well this only makes me need to save for a Tracker more. Ugh. This is gonna cost me but it will be worth it.

I was wondering how well a controller would work with the tracker. Not bad!

I wonder if you can control the song mode with Midi commands? My sequencer could then trigger it to do certain song parts

so if this is possible with a midi keyboard, i assume this would also be able to be used with a midi drum pad controller.... ?

I haven't tried it but it should work just fine :)

I wonder if there also a way to hook a small midi keyboard like the AKAI LPK25 to the tracker. The LPK25 normally is connected through USB and I'm not sure there is a way to have a conversion between a usb cable and the midi input needed in the tracker. Also it needs to draw power from the usb cable so I guess it is impossible? Please correct me if I'm wrong :).

So could you use this same midi track to now sequence a hardware synth?

computer keyboard don't have lower notes so i thinks the ending to a song like jump will be hard to do.
