If you want to make sure that no notes spill over to other tracks, you can actually rec-arm tracks by hitting shift+rec, then use the corresponding display button :)
I was ripping my hair out had everything set up yet nothing was working, started switching midi lines, readjusting additional settings, yelled at the sky for a bit then just decided to do the classic turn off the midi keyboard and turn it back on and it works flawlessly haha... great vids as always when i saw yours working immediately i knew something simple had to be wrong in my situation...
Very nice! Got my Tracker yesterday and I'm in LOVE. Haven't tried a controller with it yet. It's on the list. Just trying to find my way around all the possibilities at this point.
Do you by any chance know how I go about connecting my Beatstep Pro to my Polyend Tracker? I figured midi in to Tracker from Beatstep but it is not working
I wonder if there also a way to hook a small midi keyboard like the AKAI LPK25 to the tracker. The LPK25 normally is connected through USB and I'm not sure there is a way to have a conversion between a usb cable and the midi input needed in the tracker. Also it needs to draw power from the usb cable so I guess it is impossible? Please correct me if I'm wrong :).

Oh woah, that's awesome! Thanks for sharing :)
This is even more relevant now...plus...I loved the kicks sequenced by the key step, so cool :)

Glad you got it going!

Awesome! It's a super impressive instrument, happy jamming!
Great 80's synth vibe at the beginning 👍😁
Thanks for watching!
We need more Tracker videos, not less :)
There are more coming :)
I was hoping Keystep37 would work with the tracker...already have the KS37 ...solidifying my decision on getting the Polyend Tracker!
When you want to enter chords in step mode, you can just expand your selection in record mode horizontally to cover as many tracks as you like
Just discovered that, awesome!
Thankyou. I didn't know that.
Great video thanks!!!
:)
Glad you liked it!
ive gotta get a tracker now
Actually sounded cool with all kicks😆. Well this only makes me need to save for a Tracker more. Ugh. This is gonna cost me but it will be worth it.
SO worth it :)
How do you set specific MIDI channel to each Track? Thanks
I was wondering how well a controller would work with the tracker. Not bad!
There are some other tips and tricks I'll be showcasing soon as well!
I wonder if you can control the song mode with Midi commands? My sequencer could then trigger it to do certain song parts
so if this is possible with a midi keyboard, i assume this would also be able to be used with a midi drum pad controller.... ?
I haven't tried it but it should work just fine :)
Hi FB.. if you ever feel like hooking up your volca keys with the tracker, please let me know how you did that🙏 i cant get it to work
I'll give it a shot!

cool, where you can find note off command?
It is a weird combo but it works, so why not?
Yeah it's actually pretty cool haha, I'll certainly be coming back to it in the future :)

Not a chance with mpk mini
So could you use this same midi track to now sequence a hardware synth?
Yup!
computer keyboard don't have lower notes so i thinks the ending to a song like jump will be hard to do.
Absolutely haha
i have a keystep but use my compter keyboard to play, i'm lazy lol.
The Keystep definitely helps out, I promise!
What’s this about you spend so much time just making a midi keyboard ….
This isn’t it
