I had a dog just like Nebbie once. When God gave dogs the knowledge of how to play ball, she was sleeping. Never figured it out once. Maybe she liked watching me run after the dang ball myself? Hmmmm. I'm loving this series! I'm working on a test coloring page, learning how to use both Prismas and Polychromos together so this is very timely. Thanks!

This is so helpful! On a side note, I am so envious of your fish tank skills. I have tried to have aquariums in the past and it never works out. I read books, talk to pet store employees, but regardless it always goes wrong. I gave up because I felt like a fish murderer. I have an empty 30 gallon tank in the garage and it makes me sad lol.

I got the Romantic Country book last Christmas and I have been looking at all the pictures featuring grass. So far I’ve used the technique you taught us for doing trees in the background. This has produced better results than a simple gradient but I can see that today’s lesson is going to yield a much more natural look. Thank you so much.
Hi I purchased the downloadable CMW book. It looks full of great info. My question is. What do I do with it? Lol. I’m excited to get into your teaching. Do I sign up for a class or something? I have been watching your TH-cam videos and I hear you mention it but I’m not sure where I am supposed to go in the workbook and what to do. I may just be duh missing it. I bought the 120 Prismacolor set, a set of extra white pencils and I’ve ordered a bunch of the other supplies you have listed. I love this. I spent the Covid 19 lockup coloring. I couldn’t motivate myself to go to my art room and do my watercolor painting but I could color all day. So I’m hooked.

That was Awesome to watch, i learn some new tips and i would love to know how to make the water all of the river or Lake not shure and the Glass Bottle, how many tutorials are out for Glass but any has catch my mind so still not satisfied of doing Gladd object like your Aquarium it's in french but any Glass Jars, bottle or others are very head bracking to me anyway love your Beautiful Doggy she's so Beautiful and reminds me my Girl who never play with balls ever, the only time she was playing with her fur toys was when i laydown with Her and i'm the one who took the head and after she was bite the other side and worked very hard to let me drop my part of ther toys an dshe wins all the times but by Her own she never play she was busy by the long fast walk whe use to do every single days however the weater my little poodle all Black don't care about weater she just wan't to walk and if i don't go fast enoihg she was looking at me and send me the message hey mom come un well i just had my surgery Baby Girl can't walk fast Chloee didn't care about that LOL!
Have you seen the new posca pencils. I saw them on color with claire she was doing a review.
I have a question. I've see some people shade with the opposite color on the color wheel to what you lay down first. So like if you subject is green shade is a red. I've seen others only shade in blues or purples on all subjects especially night subject. And I've seen shading in Grey's now. I was always told to avoid Grey's as a kid in shading, that it muddies up the image but I'm seeing it work here. Another thing I was taught was shading in a different tint tone shade of that color. Are some methods better than others or is it all preference based? Are some methods improper?
Try the way shown here and see if you like it. If you do, add the technique into your style. There are lots of different ways to combine color. Use the one you like best. :)

Is it! They are herding dogs. You would think rounding up the balls would be their thing. We are having a lot of anxiety issues with her. She is going to the Vet on Saturday. She was adopted 3 months ago and HATES my Son-in-Law. The problem is he is the owner! I have never seen a dog take such a dislike to someone. She loves me the best out of everyone. If it was her and me then she would be normal, but she is so terrified of my Son-in-law that we are afraid for her mental health. It's been 3 months and you would think she would have gotten a bit better, but she is actually getting worse. We don't know what to do. We adopt forever so she is stuck with us.
Color My World yes it’s so weird, I’ve had 3 so far and only one got into fetch...and she lost interest in it in a year lol. Hmmm is he the only male she’s around? it might be that she’s afraid of men from something in her past. They can be very anxious/shy sometimes though so it could be something as completely random as he wears eyeglasses and they freak her out because she doesn’t know what they are. Not saying that’s for sure the case but just an example of how friggin random it could be - I’ve had shelties afraid of balloons, boxes, hearing the sound of a fly swatter. If it is just with him I would pony up for 1 session with a behaviorist, they’re brilliant with figuring out this kind of issue - Dog whisperers they are. Good luck with her, it takes patience but with the right method and persistence she will be such a loyal and loving companion...and they’re so smart

Have you tried Amazon? The Schpirerr Farben pencils go for (in USD) about $40 for the 72 set and $60 for the 96 set. I don't know what this would translate into Canadian dollars.🎨♿👵 Barb N.
