Alteration 101: Invisible alterations - Taking in a lined side seam

Hi All,
If you have seen some of my previous vlog, I have mentioned that I was a professional seamstress for a while. So in today's vlog, I thought I would
take you through how I would professionally take in the lined side seam of a dress, in this case a bridesmaid dress.

This was great thank you - I’d love you to give an actual demo of the ladder stitch and to see more demos. I personally hate alterations and will only do them for special people. Recently I took up the sleeve hem on 6 of my brothers t shirts and then I saw an advert in my local shop £15 for a sleeve hem!!! I told him he owed me £90 😂😂😂. It’s not a difficult job but changing threads and overlocking threads for each t shirt was a pain 😫 x

Haha, yes, there is good money in alterations if you value your ability. Unfortunately there are always people who don't value their time or ability, and customers who don't appreciate the skill. xx
