Unpopular opinion Sonix and Riddles are both not at fault. It’s really the meta that this game has slowly developed over time which defines this set entirely. In this meta, they’re really only three characters one that camps, one that one touches, and one that plays neutral really well. Because of how these three types characters exist within the same meta, camping is almost always encouraged even for characters like Kazuya.
Sonic is such a lame character, damn. Spin dash 500 times in a single game. Sonix is a good player with the character, but the character itself is just no fun to see in any way shape or form

@@BeetleVapeJuice tweek is one of the biggest campers in the game bro😭 while sonix does it with spindash/ spincharge, tweek does it by shield and having banana. both of them are gonna do a shit ton of damage when they get in. it’s literally almost identical playstyles

The Kazuya matches were interesting because of how Riddles has developed his counter to spin dash. I think being able to EWGF and armor through is pretty busted.

Sonix played the run away game un rhe last match, yet it required only ONE single interaction from Kazuya to take out Sonic's stock. Absolutely absurd. The camping was justified.

@@alexneuman600 In what freaking world does Terry require skill? Lmao, the way Sonix played is legit the correct way to play against those two. If Sonic had the tools to be more aggresive it wouldn’t be boring, but he doesn’t.
@@capirucho5065 Sonic got like 547 burst options, and 289 combo starters. And he's basically faster than the speed of light. Of course he can be aggressive. Mkleo, Sparg0, Marss, Light, and pretty much 99% of all top players managed to beat Riddles without camping. If Sonix can't do that, despite using the 3rd best character in the entire game, doesn't that just mean he's objectively a bad player, and carried by the fact that Sonic is a good camper?
@@capirucho5065 Oh, and Almost never doing misinputs and learning how to properly recover, and combo with Terry obviously does take skill. If someone who usually doesn't play Terry, uses him for a game, you can IMMEDIATELY tell.
@@alexneuman600 Like literally any other character in the game, lol, Terry has the easiest and most braindead combo game of the fgc characters, it isn’t “easy”, but once you got that you have a character that literally wins neutral for free and his punish game is easy and melts stocks lmao. I have experience with both Sonic and Terry and they’re both quite easy, is just that Sonic requires more discipline to properly get the best out of him, while Terry is mostly just mashing inputs and the other player is obligated to be more careful. Also BOTH of this competitors are extremely talented, I’m talking about the character themselves, people who bash on Sonix just straight up don’t know how Sonic works, and just hate him for the sake of “hype”
My god sonic and min min are the absolute worst freaking characters ever developed for any fighting game, and kazuya need to be nerfed too, his damage is insane and the combos are just insult to injury
