Aka is just better at quickly cycling menu off stage than most hero players, and he'll always choose that than dealing with the ledge situation against MK freaking Leo haha
Leo said he learned the names of the important spells (snooze, acceleratle, zoom, psyche up, oomph, kaboom, flame slash etc) which I imagine helped a lot lol
Crazy how it makes it to where Hero just doesn't have to play offstage disadvantage, Joker gets no ledgetrapping, and you just have to keep winning in neutral over and over again while Hero can do way more damage with fewer interactions. Still a massively losing matchup lmao
@@mannya.h.967 on paper, but in reality the mental fortitude to acknowledge the luck pull from opening the menu offstage, recognizing the spell and refreshing/using it consistently under stress is a lot more mechanical and adds to the mental weight in return. also zoom doesnt interfere with ledgetrapping as you would never use it at lengths where you are close enough to play the ledge.
@@pyropeshichidan8141 It is a lot easier when you realize that it isn't luck for the most part. Aka pulls the menu at a time where he can recover either way. There was 1 time when he truly just pulled the menu and prayed because he got edgeguarded, but other than that, a lot of it was confirming Zoom and drifting out towards the blast zone to waste Arsene or quickly choosing an option and Up B.
@pyropeshichidan8141 no zoom literally skips ledge. Like say I'm playing Samus and my win condition is ledge trapping my opponent to death. Hero can simply never go to ledge as long as he rolls zoom off stage. That's crazy lol
You get a much higher chance of getting zoom when you're close to the blast zone, thats why hero mains spam menu when they're off stage and aren't close enough to ledge without getting edge guarded
Still can't believe nothing was ever done about the language barrier for Hero. Obviously Leo did fine, but even from a casual perspective not giving any kind of option for symbols or anything is uncharacteristically unintuitive of the team.
Yeah, it would be way too much work for Hero spells to have little icons... I mean it would be such a break from the series fans would be mad, it's better to make Hero even more balanced so people won't know which spell he's gonna use, even if you know all his spells 😂🎉
There's really no reason for them to have to consider a language barrier. Realistically why would an American play a Japanese version of smash. Or a Mexican play a japanese version. Smash at its core is a casual game, they don't take competition into consideration. It's up to the player to learn the different languages at that point.

Honestly Miya will probably surpass it by the end of the year, but the thing about Leo's total major wins is that most of them are supermajors. No disrespect to Miya or anything but most of his major wins has just been from farming A tiers. The closest person to Leo's 17 supermajors is Acola's 10 I believe

Random Hero thoughts, I think Zoom should be reworked, and here are two thoughts: 1. Zoom should work like Heal, where the more you use it per stock, the less it shows up. 2. Zoom should only be able to dump on the left, right, or center, but the Hero should be able to choose where he lands with that. That way, it can be slightly more down to reads and less complete luck
I know this is late but its a higher likelyhood in the blastzone. With proper Menu manipulation you can get Zoom about 2/3 of the time if you know what your doing
