It took me this long to realize that Scourge Illusionist's voice line "Monsters beneath you" is another version of the other Kobold Illusionist's "Monsters behind you", except he's the one summoning undead monsters from beneath me.
Sadly it's not as annoying either.

I can get how the minion creates 4/2 blades because there are no deathrattle minions in the deck.. but why does the blade cost 0???

@@AB0BA_69 Ironically it's the other part that doesn't make sense, the card very clearly says "4/4 copy of a _minion_ in your deck" and yet works with weapons too.
Glitches written on a piece of paper. What a trip. I remember like... almost 20 years ago going to the public library and using the dial up computers to browse Gamegenie, scribbling button combos onto a sticky note, then rushing home and cheating at Tomb Raider.
How the times have changed.
Yeah, along similar lines I used to have a slip of paper with a bunch of GTA San Andreas cheats tucked into the box for the game. Interesting how all three of those things (writing on paper, physical copies of games and changing gameplay by inputting secret codes) are already so outdated that many kids probably haven't encountered any of them. It seems obvious that technology is just going to keep revolutionizing basic activities but it's still a little surreal when you live through the shift, fast-forward a few more decades and this generation will seem outdated for having used consoles, tablets and phones instead of just streaming everything through a VR implant or something.
Well not sure how they overlooked this, as it clearly says on the card that it should add a copy of a minion. Maybe they forgot rougue has a deathrattle weapon and they were just lazy to code it to check for minion, rather it just any card with deathrattle.
A little extra i wanted to add is how was this found, did someone just played deathrattle rogue eith both cards and just got it off accidentally?
I bet they recycled the code from another card and made a few changes so it that costs 4 less and becomes a 4/4. Rogue has at least 3 deathrattle weapons so surprisingthey didn't think this would happen

@@tachysphex4095 It's also funny how it tries to change the weapon to a 4/4 seen by the 4 attack, but unable to overrite the durability count.
@Leo Yeah it probably sets the "attack" and "health" fields, but durability is not the same as health

Probably to shuffle so that a bottom card could get to the top end(?) Or to be able to draw Hella shellafishies(?)
My guess is so that he can scheme the shellfish if it should be ratted. Basically a tool against disruption.

1:32 Shouldn't Shadow of Demise copy Secret Passage before it goes into the deck? It says "each time you cast a spell" (which I assume is like "whenever"), not "after you cast a spell"
edit: Also, I don't get it - doesn't Scourge Illusionist add a copy of a Deathrattle _minion?_ What's with the duplicating Blades?

it's hard for me to stomach that there are people alive who are old enough to play video games that don't know what missingno was
I feel like it's so ubiquitous that anyone watching this video knows what it is, Pokemon just has such extreme saturation and missingno is baby's first gaming facts for those younger people while we are on a website with dedicated gaming facts channels
It was one of the first games I played as a kid and I had no idea about this glitch because I was too young to know about the internet.

This deck does not beat armor Druid, it doesn’t help that I misplayed and ran out of mana before I played the shellfish, the animation time for the weapon are too slow for you to build up enough fatigue.
I can't believe Dane started selling Scourge™ Brand Necrium Blades. Yeah they're cheap and plentiful but they break so easily 😞

yeah, but with graveyard you have 2 chances to not hit the shell.
It was 75:25 because the weapon triggers twice since he has snowfall graveyard in play

You can play any deathrattle you like. For speed you could use lepper and do the combo on turn 5.

Scourge Illusionist is looking at the deck and picking any deathrattle card instead of a deathrattle minion, so you get 4/4 versions (weapons don't have health though so that's why they're 4 attack with 2 durability) of Necrium Blade that cost 4 mana less each time you break a Necrium Blade. With Graveyard you duplicate Necrium Blades so long as Necrium Blade is the only deathrattle card in deck and Scourge Illusionist is the only deathrattle minion on your board.
And since the deathrattle of a weapon triggers 4 times (2 x on weapon + 2 x times on a minion), cycle is fairly likely to continue. Don't know exact chances, would have to check Poison's equation I believe, but it has roughly 85% chance of not failing by hitting all initial deathrattles on Shellfish.
Scourge Illusionist makes the card drawn cost (4) less. Necrium Blade costs 3 mana. So when drawn this way costs 0.
