- Studio rim lighting and how to use it. Lighting highly reflective subjects such as glass and bottles can be tricky.
The lighting techniques demonstrated in this video illustrate how good results can be achieved and how to use photoshop in post production.

Excellent! As always.

Hi, just a bit surprised you're using a Canon 1DX for product\still life photography. I thought you might have used a Canon 5DS or 5D4 for the extra resolution. That's not a criticism, just curious as to why you'd use a 20mp censor? I'm guessing you don't print or don't need the extra detail? Great chanel, by the way...
Thanks for watching.
Can you elaborate?@@CameraClubLive

Most welcome
Thanks I like your work
Glad to hear that
A great tutorial thank you I attempted to have a go and the rim lighting around the bottle worked but even on the darker image there was too much flare on the top of the bottle. If i had reduced the light then the rim would be too dark any suggestions on where i'm going wrong ?
just to add to this i was using a speedlite and large diffuser no softbox
Wow!
